I bought a Mulberry Bayswater tote, my first pre-loved luxury handbag, through Evey's Preloved and had a great experience. She helped ease my fears about buying pre-loved by jumping on a call with me prior to purchase. She took time with me as I asked questions, and she was able to share that she only buys from people she knows and could tell me about where the bag came from. I live in the U.S. and had to pay a tariff in addition to shipping, which was a bummer, but out of our control.

Not suitable for high-value goods
I believe this is a legitimate operation; however, my experience was deeply troubling and placed me under an extraordinary amount of stress from start to finish.
I entrusted Evie with a highly precious and exceptionally valuable handbag, valued in the region of £20,000. Given the nature of luxury goods, condition is paramount. When the bag was returned to me, it was no longer in the mint condition in which I had provided it. Stickers that are essential to preserving value had been removed and, in several places, had fallen off entirely. For an item whose worth is intrinsically linked to its pristine condition, this was profoundly disappointing and upsetting.
As time passed, it became clear that the bag was not going to sell through her services. This was not due to the quality or desirability of the item, but rather because she simply does not appear to have the client base required to handle assets of this calibre. When I made the decision to collect my bag, the process became unnecessarily difficult and confrontational. I was placed in an extremely uncomfortable position where I was effectively prevented from retrieving my own property unless I agreed to pay a substantial and unexpected.
While I do not dispute that this business operates in a legitimate capacity, the manner in which this transaction was handled fell far below what I would expect when dealing with luxury goods of this magnitude.
For these reasons, I personally would never choose to use this service again, nor would I feel comfortable recommending it to others who the careful handling of high-value items.

We are a small business, every review is important to us, and I wanted to take the time to reply to your words above.
You met me in person at our location, we sat and spoke about the high value that you wished to achieve for your bag which I did say was quite a high expectation at the time . We looked at the bag together and your bag was returned to you in the exact condition that you gave it to me. At the time that you delivered to me your bag, you were concerned to open your bag yourself , and you showed me that the central sticker on the hardware closure was a little loose, this was from when you had understandably opened and closed the bag. The central sticker was even photographed in images when the bag was photographed for our website and clearly seen. Prior to returning your bag to you , I sent you an image showing you the carrier bags, ribbon, receipt and dust covers and bag which you thanked me for . I understood that your work as a trainee lawyer endured long and late working hours and I answered all of your calls and texts whenever received, often we spoke or texted late at night and early morning too. We have done everything in our power to accommodate you and to sell your bag, however to sell a high ticket item, and this is something we are successful to do when realistically priced, it does takes time. With barely any notice from you, you asked me to meet you before opening hours at our location for you to collect your bag for a party , which I could not do at such short notice, so we agreed to meet at midday at our location. You then said that you could not make that time and asked me to come to your offices in central London which I was not able to do myself and so I offered another solution to you as you really wanted the bag for the party. I was able to at very short notice arrange a hand delivery to your offices and quoted you the charge that the courier would charge you. You decided for this solution, whereby your bag was safely delivered to you within a few hours of booking, and in good time for you to hold it at the party you wanted to attend for your legal team.
I truly do not know what more we could have done for you, and I quote the following message that you wrote to me on What's App, the day that your bag was returned to you in the exact condition that you delivered it to me.
' I know this one did not work, but my sister has other items in used condition and I would very much like to have a working relation going forward'
We are a small business, every review is important to us, but your review has totally shocked and upset me.
Your bag was returned to you in the exact condition as it was delivered. You unfortunately could not come yourself to collect your bag which is a high ticket item, so the only solution we could find was to arrange a hand delivery option to you for both peace of mind and security , and importantly for you to have it in good time for your party.
