Fraude - 113 € perdues

Une arnaque d'ampleur sur ce site. Tromperie sur le design du site qui copie le site officiel, pas de transparence sur les frais, au moment du paiement la sommes de 7$ apparait mais pas les + de 100 $ de frais sont indiqués !! c'est après que vous dévcouvre la surpercherie. De plus, pas reçu mon visa au bout de 96 h !!!

Je pensais être sur le site officiel du gouvernement canadien pour effectuer une demande d'AVE. La présentation du site est, selon moi, très trompeuse et m'a induite en erreur.
Lorsque j'ai vu un montant de 113,80 €, j'ai compris qu'il ne s'agissait pas du tarif officiel et je n'ai pas souhaité poursuivre ce paiement. Pourtant, deux prélèvements de 113,80 €, soit 227,60 € au total, ont été effectués sur mon compte bancaire.
J'ai immédiatement demandé l'annulation de ma demande et un remboursement. Malgré plusieurs e-mails, je n'ai reçu aucune réponse satisfaisante. Le numéro de téléphone indiqué ne m'a pas permis de joindre un conseiller.
J'ai été contrainte de faire opposition à ma carte bancaire et d'engager une procédure de contestation auprès de ma banque.
Je déconseille fortement ce site. Si vous souhaitez demander une AVE pour le Canada, vérifiez bien que vous utilisez le site officiel du gouvernement du Canada, où le coût officiel est de 7 dollars canadiens.
À ce jour, je suis toujours dans l'attente d'un remboursement.

I believed I was using the official Government of Canada website to apply for an eTA. In my opinion, the website's presentation is misleading and caused me to believe it was the official service.
When I saw a charge of €113.80, I realized it was not the official government fee and I did not wish to proceed with that payment. However, two charges of €113.80 each, for a total of €227.60, were taken from my bank account.
I immediately requested the cancellation of my application and a full refund. Despite sending several emails, I have not received a satisfactory response. I was also unable to reach anyone using the phone number provided.
I had to block my bank card and start a chargeback procedure with my bank.
I strongly do not recommend this website. If you need a Canadian eTA, make sure you use the official Government of Canada website, where the official fee is 7 Canadian dollars (CAD).
As of today, I am still waiting for a full refund.

I submitted 2 application via e-visacan assuming it is government website. When completed payment it never showed total billing amount. When I checked my card transactions instantly i got charged 2x 187.67. I found out later It showed CAD 7 and service below which is hidden. I tried to contact them instantly but they don’t accept incoming calls. I raised dispute with my bank already. I received no confirmation email re application or payment. I emailed them 3 times already to cancel my application. I tried to submit billing issue query on their website and it is also coming up as error. There is no communication support from them even though it say 24/7 support available. By searching their company details I contacted Wyoming authorities who got the same address. I requested them if I can speak to any of their personnel or if they can forward my message to cancel my application but they cannot help me as well. If I don’t receive any update I will file a complaint with Australian fair trading, US FTC and Canada AFC.

ARNAQUE !! comme mentionné plusieurs fois dans les différents avis, vous pensez être sur le site officiel pour payer 7$ et vous vous retrouvez avec 130$ de débités

Estafa, imita web de gobierno Canadá, te cobran 110 euros por “tramitarte” la eTa que tiene un coste real de unos 6 euros.
Solicitas anulen tu solicitud y te devuelvan el importe pagado y no responden, lo hacen 1 semana después explicando que como el servicio ya se realizó no te devuelven nada. Bloqueada la tarjeta y denunciados vuelven a intentar hacer cargos…

Update 21/07/2026: After reporting the website to Google they have taken action and now supply a warning against e-visacan.com and other similar scam websites, stating "Not a Government website" under each link.
Unsurprisingly, still no response from this scam company to my requesting immediate cancellation of the transaction, which is now being dealt with as a dispute with the Credit Card company.

Complete scam website purporting to be the Canadian Government website for the purchase of travel ETA, hugely inflated price of circa $130 for a $10 ETA.
Essentially e-visacan is an American company based in Wyoming who have paid advertising to ensure they appear at the top of Google searches! Beware!!!
I have reported the website to Google and the Federal Trade Commission as well as my Credit Company to process a chargeback.

Absolute scam. Genuinely thought it was official site and ticked the box to pay $7CAD and card was charged $130USD. Have logged it with Amex to dispute charge. 1st time I've ever been tricked by this sort of thing. Avoid at all costs.

Be careful with this scammers.
They are trying to rip you off. No total amount is shown when paying and they don´t even send you a confirmation email at all.
I have filed Federal Trade Commission in the US, Consumer affairs in Canada and Profeco in Mexico, as well as Canadian embassy, even though have put out the warnings (which aren’t obviously not helpful at all)
Edit : it’s been over a month now and eTA hasn’t been delivered yet. It’s a total scammer.
I went to the official site and applied and got it in a few minutes time. I've spoken with a lawyer and trying to take some action towards them.

１３０ドルの手数料を取られますが、支払いページには何も書かれていなく、７ドルだと思い払ってしまいます。払った後に１３０ドル（US)だとわかります。
返金手続きをしてもできないの一点張り。
そして、ビザは全く届きません。
もし払ってしまった場合、返金されるか関係なく、本社が米国なのでFederal Trade Commission、カナダのConsumer affairs、日本の消費者センターに連絡してください。私はカナダ大使館にもメールをしました。
追記:1ヶ月以上経ちますがまだeta届かず、メールをすれば「申請済み」のみ。個人的に無駄金にはなりましたが、申請して3分後くらいにはeta届きました。今は弁護士に相談しています。

Il s'agit d'un piège financier. On est mis en confiance par la fausse apparence d'un site officiel. Au moment du paiement, le tarif officiel de 7 CAD par AVE s'affiche. Mais il s'ajoute environ 125 USD de frais cachés au moment du débit. Plus de 72 heures après, je n'ai encore rien reçu. Pas de nouvelles non plus de ma demande d'annulation et de remboursement.

Misleading site and abusive fees.This website operates as a hidden private intermediary (Compass World LLC) designed to trick travelers into believing it is the official Government of Canada portal. They collect all your private passport data through an identical questionnaire and, at the very last second, charge an abusive fee of $130 USD for a process that officially costs only $7 CAD.I requested a cancellation immediately after the payment was made, but their support team refused a full refund, claiming the process was "already underway." This is a deceptive business practice. I already obtained my official eTA on my own, and I have initiated a formal chargeback dispute with my bank (Citibanamex) for consumer fraud, along with a report to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).Do not use this site! This company made getting my Canadian travel authorization a breeze. Submitted everything online in minutes and received my eTA quickly. Saved me so much stress before my family vacation - highly recommend!

ARNAQUE le montant réellement prélevé n'est pas clairement indiqué lors du paiement, vous pensez payer 7 dollars alors que vous serez prélevé de 130. Bien évidement aucun numéro joignable et aucun ETA reçu

Applying for my Canada eTA through this service was incredibly smooth. I had my approval in under 24 hours and sailed through immigration at Toronto Pearson. Way easier than trying to do it myself on the official site - totally worth it!

Utter scam. Charge back immediately they pretend to be direct

Got suckered in, very deceptive with the ‘$7CAD + service fee’ at checkout, got charged $188AUD! I feel so stupid as I have never got caught out like this before. Disgusting business that should be shut down.
