Expat Tax Online as able to guide me through the US tax system that was very alien to me with the end goal of renouncement that was completed.

I was able to understand the time lines and file appropriately. The main thing for me was being kept up-to-date with the overall process and stages. Online collection of tax details was easy as well as final review and the filing itself.

The online system was quite a lot for me to collate old bank statements and filling it all in took time but I saved so much money (I am talking about £8,000)it was worth doing the leg work myself. After using another online tax service the previous 2 years, I wasn’t happy with the service I received. I found Expat tax online to be a far better experience for a lot less money. Having to file a US return every year is a drag and Expat tax made it easy. Andrea was extremely responsive to any queries I had, and helped me through the process from start to finish. I will definitely be using them again moving forward and hope Andrea is still there next year.

Efficient preparation and good communication

Honestly, one of the best service providers for tax preparation I’ve ever come across. They’ve updated their process this past year, I thought last year‘s updates were amazing and this year‘s updates are even better and make the process that much more straightforward. Everything went pretty smooth. The customer service is great. I did struggle a bit this year completing the questionnaire on the iPad. I’ll go back to doing it on the computer next year. I have been using Expat Tax for over 5 years and they make filing for expats super easy and stress free!!
