ExtremeDayTrips.com Reviews

Great website, super useful and does exactly what it says on the tin. Makes finding day trips sooooooo much easier than using skyscanner alone.

Great website, I have found 3 trips in a matter of minutes and was able to decide where to go on my avilable dates. No morr messing around with multiple websites and apps just to find a trip. You can book direct though the airline so you know your getting the best price and not a 3rd party cut.
My bag tag went missing in the post and they replaced it stright away no issues arrived just in time for my next EDT.
Fantastic customer service when needed nice clean clear website and mobile app.

Amazing to be able to see offers in advance with the premium package. First EDT booked from the site next month. Thank you.

Best app I’ve ever purchased. After browsing the free version for 3 days, I knew I needed premium. 2 hours after upgrading, I’d booked my first EDT, Gatwick to Faro, for the bargain price of £32! The app has literally everything you could wish for - distances from airports to cities, full itineraries, baggage sizes for different airlines - no stone is unturned in helping you find the perfect trip. The flight finder is superb, and the results are immediate and accurate. I can’t wait to see more of the world!

I have just upgraded to premium and wow! I have used the website a few times as a free member and the benefits for that were amazing for finding EDTs, but I wanted to be able to search further in advance. Going from spending countless hours between various search engines, to using one single website, is a game changer. No more failed searches, frustration or spending too much time trying to find the best bargain.. everything you need is at your fingertips! Let's not forget the cost. Absolutely worth it! I would personally be happy to pay double because of just how much admin work this website takes away from me. EDTs for 2026 here I come :)

Brilliant website, super easy to use and so worth the money!

Rick provided support and it just feels like a really close knit community.

Such an easy and quick way to search for Day Trips and Overnighters. No more spending ages inputting every date individually!

Where do you ever get customer service replies straight away and also very helpful.....
Well look no further.
I can tell you from first hand experience, I was battling a bit with getting info, and sent a message with absolutely no idea I would get a reply so quickly.
Rick is fantastic with helping you out with any question you have about EDT.
I have booked a trip for next week so will tell you all about it.
Thank you Rick

Shocking abuse of the planet. How is this ever encouraged? Mind blowing!

EDIT to respond to comments: Emissions are based on weight of the plane, so every person who travels is broadly speaking, significant extra emissions. Train travel will only be affordable once people stop flying, and without airlines seeing empty seats things will never change. Try telling your children you used to fly somewhere for a day trip and see the shock on their face in 5-10 years time. Travelling light and avoiding a breakfast is really meaningless, as the baseline carbon doesnt have these things in anyway!!

I love using ExtremeDayTrips.com for planning my next adventure. They do the hard work of finding cheap flights to manageable destinations for day trips or overnight .
We used for weekend away to lanzorate. Was great fun. Off to Dublin next week too .something I'd never done before joining this group

I love using ExtremeDayTrips.com for planning my next adventure. They do the hard work of finding cheap flights to manageable destinations for day trips or overnighters and sharing stories give good ideas for what to see and do when you get there!

Great place to book EDTs, most of mine came from here

What a fantastic resource for people looking to do an extreme day trip, or even for people looking for cheap flights. I recently found a return trip from Manchester to Dublin for £28

Much better than following hundreds of false leads on Skyscanner. Istanbul can be done on an extreme day trip, should be added. Otherwise this works very well.

A very easy to use website that does the hard work of finding same day flights to and from various airports. I find this much easier to use than skyscanner, and the prices are correct when you actually go to book, unlike other websites.

Would be nice to be able to select several departure airports at once, but that's a minor point and a feature that isn't really seen anywhere.

A great website and so easy to use! I have recently been on a trip to Pisa with my brother, and have an upcoming trip to Edinburgh.

I've seen friends go on day trips abroad before and thought I'd love to do it, but didn't want to spend hours looking at different options. This website makes it so easy to find trips from a selection of airports and all different dates. It is so user friendly, and also offers suggestions of places to go and things to see.

Brilliant website giving hints and tips to seeing Europe and the world cheaper!
We had a trip to Wroclaw which was brilliant and heading to Limoges in September thanks to EDT.

I love this website! Helped me find a bargain 24 hour trip to Carcassonne with my husband, we had the best time. Roll on the next EDT!

The site is amazing help for searching for exciting trips, giving inspiration and tips on flight times, bus numbers, things to see and do. I’ve had days trips to Malaga, Alicante, Dublin, and overnight trips to Palma, Malta and Belfast. All because of this group. Thankyou! So useful

Since the day I joined this group on Facebook I am discovering new places new countries to visit and enjoy the place. I’m getting the idea of getting good deals. I am single parent so I always look for budget places to visit and with this group I got to know good tips. I gathered the courage to went for our first day trip back in December 2023 to Dublin and then went to different countries after that.
