Misleading Safety Claims

Promised “private, secure” parking, but used Southampton Council multi-storey public car park—clients weren’t told this .

CCTV footage showed vehicles being tailgated out of barriers to avoid fees—deemed “illegal and dangerous” .

Director Alan Robert Naylor and the company were fined:

£500 (director), £4,000 (company), £3,000 court costs, plus ~£200 compensation per customer .

Appeal was rejected, convictions were upheld .

2. Service Failures & Complaints

Multiple TripAdvisor posts accuse theft of keys, refusal of refunds, and customers being fined by Parking Eye because parking wasn’t paid .

Terms & Conditions reportedly include disclaimers that the company “takes no responsibility” for damage or fines .

I called them by phone as Park and Ride fully booked. They offered either Meet and Greet or I could park in their car park and get a taxi to cruise ship terminal at reduced rate. The transfer mini bus being full. I chose Meet and Greet and both drop off and return excellent. Only six miles on the clock.
