Happy owner of a Rumble 25

I have a Rumble 25 amp that recently got damaged in a power surge. I called Fender and received excellent help from Nathan. I am happy with this product, as it performs exactly as claimed, is a good value, and the customer service couldn’t be better.
Highly recommended!

Custom Shop Precision Bass order

I ordered a custom shop Precision just before Christmas. Due to the annual shop shutdown and production demands, it took more time than initially advertised to get it. It was absolutely worth the wait. Customer rep Shane Farmer did an awesome job keeping me informed on the build progress. I have gigged out several times with the bass now and could not be happier. My expectations were very high - but the custom shop bass has far exceeded them!

Terrible products and even worse…

Terrible products and even worse customer support. Imagine waiting for more than 2 years for a firmware update and for customer service to tell you "just buy another product".

Tonemaster Twin repair

My Fender Twin Tonemaster died and Fender kindly took care of the repair for free, even though I didn’t have the receipt anymore. I think it’s a common defect that’s why they did it for free. In any case customer service was great!

Could not be more disappointed

Could not be more disappointed.
We ordered a circa £1,800 mod shop Fender for our son as a special Christmas gift. Contrary to the 8-10 weeks advertised delivery time, it took over 18 weeks to ship. The company were not proactive in providing updates, but did respond to emails after a short wait.
I was advised that i would be contacted to arrange delivery once the guitar was in Europe. That didn’t happen. Instead, I’ve been notified today that the guitar has been delivered. Presumably it’s in a cardboard box outside my front door. Possibly with a label saying “Fender” and including the value !

Hopefully it will still be there, and not damaged by any inclement weather, when I return home in 6 days time.

If it has not been stolen / rain damaged i’ll post a further review on the actual product, but based on the above experience I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND buying a mod-shop guitar directly from Fender.

Kane Kitchen "No Stone Unturned" P-Bass Aluminum Pickgard Sheild #0019723000

To Whom It May Concern,

After looking everywhere I could on the Internet and exhausting every possible resource in the process of trying to find an Aluminum Pickguard Shield Fender part number 0019723000 for my 1974 Fender Precision Bass I reached the conclusion I would need to speak with someone at Fender Parts to get a definitive answer on the status of this part.

Lucky for me my call was answered by Kane Kitchen in Fender’s Customer Relations Department. Kane systematically went through every single source I had previously and laboriously gone through myself in an attempt to find the part. I was amazed how thorough he was in his effort to connect me with the part I still desperately need.

Having previously worked as a service technician and in customer relations I have a unique perspective on evaluating who I’m speaking with on the other end of the line and I can tell you I was extremely impressed with Kane’s professionalism and determination to leave no stone unturned while assisting me. So much so Kane went to the extent of searching outside the normal part number to see if any aluminum pickguard shields examples existed within Fender's warehouse system and in doing so did find several thousand which are unfortunately unavailable to the public.

Too bad for me but the point here is Kane went above and beyond to check with a department outside of Parts that holds the shields to see if they would consider relinquishing one for my 1974 P-bass. Kane secured the answer and replied with their response within 24 hours. Very Impressive !

Kane is an exemplary employee and as Fender’s ambassador to your customer base deserves recognition.

I’m thinking two weeks off and a raise, but I’ll leave that up to you.

P.S. While I have your attention, I would like to know why the Aluminum Pick-guard Shield for a Precision Bass part number 0019723000 has been discontinued.

I understand I can buy self adhesive foil that’s available from Stuart MacDonald, but I would prefer to do the job properly and use the aluminum shields that were originally installed on the early Precision Basses and up until recently available as a replacement part.

I purchased a pick-guard shield fabricated by Kluson several years ago for another Precision bass I own. I find these are currently out of production and I am unable to locate vendors that have them in stock.

Although I have sent an inquiry to Kluson as to whether they will produce this part again so far I haven’t received a response back from Kluson Pacific.

I’d be interested to know if Fender can shed more light on the subject when you have time.

What started out as what might have…

What started out as what might have become a one star review has, through the attitudes and actions of Kane and Jahmal, become a five star review. I work for a large music retailer in Canada and yesterday was following up on an extremely old order parts order. Instead of "passing me off" to another department, Jahmal was very attentive, and though I did have to go to another department to get the necessary info regarding this order, he was in no way dismissive and suggested that I could always follow up through him. When I got to speaking with Kane, his customer service was "on point!" He followed through with emails and phone calls and came up with a solution for this problem parts order that "blew me away!" Though there is a lot to be said for AI and automation, I thank God for this interaction with two capable, hard working, good willed human beings! Thanks guys and keep up the excellent work!!
ADDENDUM - wrote this review an hour ago and just got another email from Michael with a tracking #, which took their follow through rating to an even higher level. Once again "blown away!" Way to go team Fender!!!

Good guitar company

Amazing! The Stratocaster is good and they have good customer services that helped me, they also have guitars for basically everybody (like beginners, intermediates, pros, and so on so forth). They also have a mod shop to where you can make your own guitar, just amazing, good job Fender!

My husbands guitar stopped working

My husbands guitar stopped working , it’s still under a 2 year warranty. Caesar went above and beyond. Currently waiting on its replacement. His customer service was exceptional and truly understand why this brand is trusted and noteworthy!

Pot. Kettle. Fender.

Fender have recently taken the legal high ground by winning a copyright case preventing other companies from selling copies of their designs. Fine. But if you’re going to enforce the law when it suits you, you don’t get to pick and choose which regulations matter.

Advertising standards exist for a reason. If a manufacturer publishes a specification and charges accordingly, the product should actually match that specification.

My personal example is the Made in Japan Hybrid II Telecaster HH, which Fender’s own specification states includes push-pull coil-split functionality.

The guitar supplied does not have a push-pull pot fitted at all. The advertised feature simply doesn’t exist on the instrument, despite the functionality also appearing in the specification when checking the serial number.

To give some context to the frustration here, this is now my 7th or 8th attempt at purchasing a new guitar after repeated issues across different instruments. Others have arrived dented, with lacquer peeling, or with parts loose and wobbly straight out of the case. One example, an Ultra model costing over £2,000, even arrived with metal protruding from the pickguard, which should never have left the factory on a flagship instrument. Fender have a duty of care to there customers.

For the record, in every case I personally saw the manufacturer’s packaging opened for the first time in store and twice at home, apparent from one which had previously been opened, so it is a reasonable assumption these are factory/ manufacturing quality issues, not retailer handling.

GuitarGuitar have actually been excellent throughout and have raised this issue with Fender on my behalf.

At this stage I simply haven’t yet received confirmation of how Fender intend to resolve the matter.
All I’m asking is straightforward: that the guitar I purchased is brought up to the advertised specification under warranty.

I genuinely want to be able to write a positive review saying that a problem was brought to Fender’s attention and they stepped up and put it right. As a new customer, that would go a long way.
Right now I’m simply hoping Fender will do the right thing.

Customer Service Defined

Had a minor issue with some Fender strings I bought from my local guitar store. Wrote an inquiry to Fender and received a reply from Caesar Tapia. Caesar responded professionally and courteously and even offered to send out some replacements. Now that’s customer service! Thanks Caesar and FMIC! 👍🏼

Two Fender Vintera II Basses from 2026 Presidents Sale

During the 2026 Presidents Sale at Fender, I decided to order not one, but two of the discounted Vintera II basses: a 60’s Precision in Olympic White and a 70’s Telecaster Bass in Seafoam Green.

Immediately after ordering I had reached out to Fender Customer relations to see if lighter and more nicely figured necks could be shipped.

Upon receipt of the two instruments, I was beyond pleased! Both are light with wonderful neck figuring and played beautifully right out of the box!

The Precision reminds me of a CIJ 80’s Oly/rose that I got from Talkbass years ago and has long since left the stable. From playing Fender 5 string Precisions over the last ~10 years in church, the wider nut on this rosewood board is a dream to play. Lightweight, beautiful rosewood slab board and a pure creamy dreamy classic look and feel that makes her a joy to play!

I had previously owned CIJ ’51 and ’53 Sting re-issues that in hindsight, had regretted selling . When this Telecaster Bass popped up with the similar visual vibe at the price point, I had to go for her, and I am so glad I did! She’s downright beautifully sexy in Seafoam Green and I love the thicker front to back feel of the deep C neck profile Of course, the headstock shape is the total bomb. I just love the simple elegance of this instrument, and the non-sculpted slab body is a nice reminder to stay healthy in the abs area! One of the Youtube reviewers of this bass commented on how responsive the bass is to plucking hand placement, and I could not agree more!

The fit/finish on both instruments are excellent and very pleased with pulling the trigger on these.

I really can not keep my hands off these two beauties and bringing them into the family has inspired more practicing time!
