Lost our pet from carrier

Cat escaped from carrier Avoid. We bought the carrier from Pets at Home store it was a Ferplast Atlas Deluxe Open 20. It had a front and top opening. The top opening failed and our cat escaped we lost her for 5 days. After we got her back I read the reviews on Pets at Home site. Others have had the same experience with this item.

I bought 2 deluxe carriers from…

I bought 2 deluxe carriers from Ferplast Uk - not realising that they would be shipped from Italy. On arrival the clips attaching two halves of each carrier did not snap into place rendering the carriers useless. No opportunity to return, minimal customer service, over-priced products - avoid this company!

Very unhappy with Ferplast Customer…

Very unhappy with Ferplast Customer Service.
Ordered a replacement handle for my cat carrier from website as the picture matched the one I was looking for. When I received said item, as far as I was concerned, it was for a different carrier. Going by the picture, I paid £9.90 and £9 delivery and received one advertised for £3.90. After a good few emails, they eventually said I had ordered the wrong part and the one I ordered had a completely different part number. This I still disagree with. Even with me sending pictures to back me up, they just ignored that. I am now sending it back and having to pay £8 delivery. Won't be buying another Ferplast product!!!!

Ferplast- worst customer service ever!

Ferplast have got to have the worst customer service I've ever had the misfortune to experience! I'd recently acquired a hamster cage (not Ferplast) and needed some replacement clips to secure the cage to the plastic base. I contacted Ferplast to ask their advice on which clips from their range would best suit (giving photos and measurements), I got an email back saying the cage wasn't theirs so they couldn't help. I reiterated that I was aware the cage want there's but they sold replacement clips I needed for it, could they please let me know the sizes so I could determine which to order. The second reply told me they didn't sell replacement clips, even for their own cages! Incensed at this point I attached a screenshot to show that they did indeed sell replacement clips and I was finally told that if I'd identified a part I wanted I should buy it but I'd be charged for any returns. How on earth do companies stay in business when their staff are practically driving their customers away? Ferplast seriously need to overall their customer service department.

Broken tray and bent side panel onPlaneta Large delivery

I refer to my order of a Planeta Large, GJ Order 24000977. This was delivered today. I waited for it to arrive and eventually found that it had been left next to the front door. We were sat less than 10 feet away, and had never left the house, so wondered why the delivery driver didn't knock.
On opening the cardboard box to assemble the cage, I found that a corner of the cage tray was broken and that a long panel had been bent. The delivery box also had a tear on one side. It makes me think that the courier knew there may be damage and didn't want to hang about for me to inspect it.
As it stands, this is my 2nd Planeta Large. The first one took some building as I couldn't easily follow the instructions, however with that past experience I expect it won't be hard this next time.
At the time of my placing the order, I emailed Ferplast on their customer service address to ask if they could let me have another full section of cage so that I could heighten the cage to give even more space inside. I didn't receive a response which is really disappointing. I would still like another section, ie 2 sides and a front and back panel. Please, Ferplast, give an update on that.
I have emailed Ferplast again from the order confirmation about the damage and included an image of the broken tray.

extortionate pricing and postage charges

Literally the only place where I can find a replacement shelf for my pet's cage, a fact they clearly know as they charge the world for it.

They also gave me no other choice than to pay £9 to send a 67g parcel 100 miles on standard delivery, which took over a week.

I've paid less for next day delivery other places. Not only was I overcharged for delivery, they used the cheapest and most unreliable courier in the country, Yodel. Obviously pocketing the difference for the shareholders.

Been waiting weeks

Been waiting weeks, money taken instantly. Bill sent. No despatch, no goods. NO COMMUNICATION. No phone.....

Emailed several times. They ignore. Will leave it a little longer then hopefully getting PayPal on to them.

Just communication would be good.

Cages are far too small!

They make cages for small pets that are far far to small, some of the items on their websites fall below half the minimum size needed for a Guineapig and they are very very expensive!
Avoid any ferplast cages.
I unfortunately bought a 120 cage for my guineapigs but soon learnt it was far to small and they were upgraded 6 weeks later.

Dangerous products, do not buy!

Recently bought the gabrys 60 for my daughters hamster however due to a design fault he ended up being injured after catching his foot in the holes of the platform which the ladder connects to. So far I've had £100 vet bill which is likely to increase as the next step is likely amputation of his leg or euthanasia.
I contacted ferplast, sent them clinical reports, pictures and vet receipts and all they offered was apologies and 25% off my next purchase!!! I will never purchase from this brand again!!
