On the 7th of May 2026 I applied for a personal loan at finchoice which was approved but never paid. I then called them they told me to cancel cos there's a technical issues on their site & reapply which I did but still nothing happened. No communication on their side.I will never recommend a friend to them. I had a very bad experience with them.They take time to answer your calls.
Finchoice is scamming us by allowing fraud inside their field
On the 04 September 2025 there was a fraud that occurred on my account someone bought airtime using my mobi money account using different number. I reported that case via email and calls but I didn't get any help until recently June 2026 I called again they told me it was my fault for leaving my account open i was confused because I live with my 4 year old daughter . And another complain I have been paying but my account is not paid up yet, there are so many errors instead of minus they add up money. I can not use my mobi money app because of the reported fraud. I am not happy with Finchoice they are scamming us now. My account suppose to be paid up now but it's adding up I am owing money that they added by scam. Please i assist me.

Finchoice legal and NRB are refusing to give me my refund after having to follow up on my paid up letter for 2 full months.
Finchoice is not responding to my emails whilst NRB risk shut me down by saying they handed the paid up account to Finchoice.
What can I do to get my money back because NRB agreed on email that my account will not be deducted after settlement. I settled 10 days before the debit order went off and they promised to refund me. At this point even the bank won’t be able to reverse the debit order because it’s heading to 3 months of me wanting my refund from Finchoice and NRB.

My account is in a poppia breach with fraudulent activity and had to consider getting in touch with the regulator and closing my bank account. No response to this critical breach. Next step is to lay a charge with these crooks

Always received brilliant service from them. But lately the service has been so disappointing. Learnt the hard way not be loyal. I have never skipped a payment. But when one needs them, they are not there to help. The app even projects false information. Tells you you're account is in arrears, when you have made payment. You pay them on time, but then your app shows you you have nothing available. But you loan debit order went off. The mobimoney facility is also not what they advertise it to be. The one month they also did a double deduction and i was left stranded. The staff is so rude when you call them. Don't take loans from them or do business with them. Stay far away. My journey with them has come to an end.

Debited on wrong date, numerous phone calls and a EFT payment, the funds are still not allocated to the correct loan account, call centre staff are rude, waiting time on a call avarage of 20 min. More the 11 calls made and mails sent my issue has still not been resolved although a ticket was closed. Not sure what to do now.

settled my loan with FinChoice…
settled my loan with FinChoice (PayStretch) in full on 11 March. They misallocated my payment, then created a "new" balance from an 8 March transaction backdated to 18 March. Despite dozens of calls and emails, they ignored me and then debited an unauthorised instalment from my account. This is either gross incompetence or deliberate fraud – stay away.

Do not take a loan from Finchoice, they are fraudsters. They dont reply to emails. I applied for a loan with them on today, i received an sms to say it was approved, they attached a debit order to my account and then without informing me they declined my loan after telling me it was approved.

Im demanding for immediate cancellation of the loan and Pay Just Now agreement in partnership with FinChoice, as well as the removal of the debit mandate on my account.
I did not apply for this loan. Someone else used my personal details without my consent. I have already requested cancellation via email and WhatsApp, but no action has been taken. This lack of response constitutes poor service and is unacceptable.
In terms of my consumer rights, I formally withdraw any consent to this agreement and to any debit order deductions. Should you fail to remove the debit mandate immediately, I will escalate this matter to the National Credit Regulator (NCR), my bank for a debit order dispute, and any other relevant regulatory authority.
Please confirm in writing within 24 hours that the loan, pending application, and debit mandate have been cancelled.

Constant harassment
I have had several loans through FinChoice, and everything went well. However, when I lost my job, through no fault of my own, and informed FinChoice, the problems began. They started calling me many, many times per day - up to 22 times. I answer the call, often no one speaks, and when they do, they listen and say they will keep phoning me until I make an arrangement with them, which I cannot do without an income. I wrote to them requesting that they only contact me via writing, and still, I get calls. This is negatively impacting my life. I have ended up swearing at them and losing my temper, which is not great, but this is really an untenable situation.

Worst Service ever, I have been calling and emailing them with no luck, I want them to close my accounts that I have fully paid and have a refund but I am told my query is be escalated all the time this is frustrating really, and they keep on adding interest on a paid up account so that I'll remain owing them, Finchoice refund me and close my accounts please and don't tell me to send an email because you do not respond to emails 😢
