I would like to commend my course trainer, Lisa. Her deliver of the course was engaging and fun with clear explanations and always incredibly helpful. I would not have successfully completed the course, without Lisa's outstanding support and guidance. She created a positive and encouraging learning environment that made a significant difference to my experience.

Fabulous tutors with a genuine commitment to supporting their students of all ages through the course. Online platform however not easy to navigate and the instructions were often unclear - we needed the tutors to provide guidance. I cannot speak highly enough of Chelsea and Abi.

Great and exceptional educators - Michael, Jess & Dani from Bond St Campus are absolutely awesome at their jobs and work really well together as educators /careers advisor who are really passionate about what they do.

Michael is a true educator, very knowledgeable, extensive expertise in a broad range of areas (educator, PT, skilled runner/hike & yoga instructor and probably much more that I am not aware of!). Michael is a great communicator, very patient with varying age groups and personalities - he is encouraging, supportive and motivating. I’ve learnt so much outside of the course modules. For example I wasn’t really that interested in hiking or trail runs or real proper yoga but Michael has educated me to widen my fitness horizon and knowledge so that when I have PT clients I have a better idea of how to help them achieve their goals and what injuries to be aware of etc. I also had the pleasure of attending one of Michael’s run clubs where he was coaching, that was a good experience, really tough but it made me realise I can kind of run instead of simply walking/jogging. I learnt technique and the importance of breathing and smart strategies to enhance my jog/running style. Michael also went above and beyond his role in helping me with the tools to create my business logo - he is an expert in Canva!

Jess is a bundle of energy and joy, similarly she has also taught me so much more outside of the course model. I had the pleasure of shadowing Jess at BFT and again that was another new training style that I had not previously really taken to however the sessions was high energy, invigorating and lots of fun whilst improving cardiovascular fitness. I also learnt about Hyrox which I only had heard snippets about. Also Jess is an avid yogi having travelled to India following her passion - her experience in yoga also helped me as I picked her brains for ideas for my Facilitator role at a Health Retreat.

Dani, the careers advisor is also a great asset to the team. A fun, extremely knowledgeable & welcoming individual with a large network within the fitness industry. Dani’s expertise and ability to connect the student team members with relevant industry stakeholders is really valuable in helping the new students get ahead start with work experience, PT shadowing and work experience and exposure to all different gym environments. Especially for the younger students, Dani is the glue behind being a student to eventually working in the fitness industry. Dani’s social/marketing skills are top notch. Together with the other Dani they both helped create an awesome video of me proudly showcasing FiT College at Bond St. This asset is something that I also leveraged to showcase my newly created PT business and offerings, it was perfect alignment. It was always great to have Dani visit the campus and to see the snippets of videos/photos where she captured moments of the educators and students in action on the gym floor - astutely learning from Michael and Jess or performing role plays practising what we learnt in the class room to delivering PT sessions.

Enrolling at FIT College was one of the best decisions I’ve made this year as I set out to further my commitment to the fitness industry by obtaining additional credentials and adding to my career growth.

I found Fit College hard to work in with.
As I already work in a gym and do classes, I would be able to supply loads of evidence that I can write and deliver a class. To deliver classes specific to the course and not have any flexibility made it hard as finding participants to do a 50yr- 60yr workout didn't suit. When I found the 6 people and one was sick on the day I was marked down. More flexibility to find evidence of trainer capabilities would work better for students. The other trainers using different fitness study institutes allowed this.
I was told a few times I need to wear my Fit College uniform during classes. I repeatedly told them I was sent a ladies size 10 and not the medium I requested. This was never sorted.
With the module in personal development, we had to do a development plan for set criteria to the assessment. This module should be for the student enrolled to construct a plan for themselves. The student would be able to supply evidence they understand AusSport and cec's and also benefit themselves by constructing a plan for the next year's development.
The Fit College trainers were hard to get hold of and multiple phone calls to reach someone for help.
Towards the end when the course allocated time was closing, it took up to two weeks to get assessments marked and when they came back with corrections it became very frustrating on how long Kylie would take to give feedback.
The video uploading system was hard. Trying to get 20min videos to a computer and then onto the Fit College assessment page could take up to 3hrs and became frustrating. It would be better if the documents and videos could be uploaded separate and not all together so you can load videos straight from a phone then the documents from a PC.

I recently completed my Certificate III and about to pursue my Cert IV in Fitness at Fit College, and my experience was overwhelmingly positive. From day one, the college provided a supportive and engaging learning environment that made me feel confident in pursuing a career in the fitness industry.

The course content was thorough and well-structured, covering all essential areas such as anatomy, exercise programming, client screening, and nutrition fundamentals. The instructors were not only experienced professionals but also passionate educator, Brent, who were always willing to help in class.

One of the biggest strengths of Fit College is the practical training component. The hands-on sessions gave me real-world experience working with clients and gym equipment, which helped bridge the gap between theory and practice. I also appreciated the flexibility of the course delivery, allowing me to study around my part-time job.

In summary, I highly recommend Fit College to anyone looking to become a personal trainer or start a career in the health and fitness industry. It’s a professional, student-focused institution that genuinely prepares you for success.

I had an amazing experience at FIT college. The learning environment was very supportive and great assistance from trainer Mark and Stanley, and I felt like I could truly grow both personally and academically. Met new people and create a social network. Classes were flexible and more enjoyable. Main highlight was our team bonding at Colo-i-suva pool. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow at FIT college.

it was fun having classes with Stanley and the team. Only issue I had was Fili wasn't replying to the messages on time which put a blank space in between.

I had an amazing experience with Fit College! The team was incredibly supportive and always willing to help. The course content was comprehensive, covering everything I needed to know to become a personal trainer.

I completed my Certificate III in Fitness in class and my Certificate IV online. The lectures and educators for both study formats were very helpful and informative, making the learning process enjoyable and effective.

After completing my Certificate III, I was able to start working as a group fitness instructor while continuing my studies. Fit College provided me with the knowledge and confidence to kickstart my fitness career. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to pursue a career in the fitness industry!

Jimmi Clifford, Dan and Jesse mckie are awesome teachers that helped me pass my cert 3 I cannot give these 3 guys enough credit they’re amazing people.

The techniques delivered was awesome. It was I expected.

As an older student Who resists participating in technology I found the study platform difficult.
The tutors where amazing particularly Rueben who was extremely patient he also was excellent with young people.
He calmly walked the room chatted to everyone even those who appeared to understand the task and were busy tapping away on their lap tops, he still stoped to ask how ya going and some of the time those people where actually needing help.
Tutors amazing ✨ The portal a bit antiquated moving here to there submit this but don’t submit that even though the task had been finished.
The marking was done in good time but comments are not on the actual submission so more back and forth making sure the corrections were understood and being adjusted in the correct place in the assignment.
Content was well covered and most students appeared to finish on time or close to.

Absolutely loved learning and training with fit college!

I found the workload and expectations to be well above a Certificate IV standard. I have completed my Masters of Arts but this qualification had a higher workload and standard than my Masters.

Excellent teaching, and a good combination of theory and practical. The course was stimulating, informative, and interesting from start to finish.
