Australian Fitness Academy Reviews 

I am having an average experience with AFA. Majority of my assignments have taken almost 2 weeks to be returned. A couple of them have even come back as not satisfactory all because there was a missing 'client signature' but the rest of the comments are all mostly positive. I don't feel as if this is fair or worth a not satisfactory grade and would suggest to just inform me that it is needed next time rather than failing me and having to wait another 2 weeks to receive a new grade.

Enjoyed studying AFA. Found the online training great, easily accessible & affirdable. Course material was relived & assistance was either an email or call away. I'm considering studying with them again.

Awful customer service and experienced very little assistance.

Overall good course. Slightly repetitive in content but I'm assuming that, that is standard for all Cert III.

Great learning experience, so many resources, helpful staff over the phone (I did mine online) and good feedback on assignments to learn from!

Great organisation, friendly, helpful, professional staff at all levels. Everyone is prepared to help you in order to meet your goals.

Excellent face to face instruction and external content was easy to follow

The content was pretty ordinary to listen to and it took a long time for me to complete the course as It really didn't hold my attention.

I live in tural NSW, so when I was doing my online course, it was wonderful to know that I could phone at any time during the day for help with a question that I was stumped with,always made me feel damn good, thankyou.😊 to all the beautiful staff

Terrible customer support. Took a ridiculous amount of time to mark anything. What a joke.

I had a lot!! of trouble with the online course with commuication from the assessment notes.

I found the courses to be comprehensive and well put together. Help and support was on hand when I needed it. A great experience for someone like myself who hasn’t studied in a long time.

Very thorough online course with great student support.

I got my Certificate 3 with AFA Online and have been able to do the study at my own pace while also working full time. I am now studying doing my Certificate 4 with AFA. The Study Support staff are friend and have helped with any inquiries that I have had.

When I first stated with AFA - they did not tell me about the bridging course to go onto Certificate 4 that I had to do, and when I rung them about it, they said they did (yeah right). Sometimes when I call Student support they are rude and they mark my assignments as not correct (even though when I ring them sometimes I explain my answer and they agree with me) whose marking this (they are suppose to be professionals) I shouldn't have to do their work for them.
They want you to pay all this money and when it comes to practical side of doing it (hours in the gym) they expect you to find your own PT (which I had to pay for to get in the experience) which is totally unacceptable. Some of the staff members are rude and cause I'm young I feel discriminated against. Some of them make me feel dumb for asking questions and expect me to know everything (isn't that what courses are for to learn???) I will not be recommending AFA to anyone.
AFA Should provide PT's that want to help (not just say they are going to help and never call you back or give you 1 session and then can't be bothered)

Not a good experience studying at this place, neither with what I got out of this training nor the lecturers, specially that a couple if them were rude !
This training was very basic and does not skill you unless you already have experience otherwise it's not good pace to learn.

Staff were helpful until you handed over your money. Their process for assessing RPL was completely useless. They didn't bother to look at my past experience or call my references. I had to get my employer to call them and walk them through my relevant RPL.

I asked their representative if she bothered to call my referees and her answer was, "no." Spend your money elsewhere.

I enjoyed studying through Australian Fitness Academy, it was self paced, easy to understand and very achievable. Happy to recommend them to anyone.
