I bought an 18V cordless Flymo EasiBlow Garden Vac recently. The bag zip failed the first time I started it up and debris blew everywhere. The zip is manufactured poorly. I claimed on warranty and Flymo was useless, responding slowly and claiming that they could not find a replacement bag (for an item they are actively selling). Be very careful if choosing this model.

Nice compact mower for size of garden but persistent cutting out as though a sensor stops it from working, changes it 3 times for replacement, all the same - utter useless.
Purchased the flymo hoover vac
Purchased the flymo hoover vac. It is the worse lawnmower I have ever had. It sends grass cuttings everywhere. I have to pick the cuttings up from the boarders as it seems to re seed it self. The patio is full of it. I'm going to have to get a new one. It won't be flymo
Terrible Flymo UK customer support
I've been trying to get through to Flymo's UK product info phone number 0344 844 4558. I was subject to incessant piano music for over 20 minutes, having to assume I was in a queue, as there was nothing or noone to tell me I was. After 23 minutes an English female voice asked me how she could help, I told her which model I was calling about and without giving me a chance to reply to whatever she said (which I didn't have time to understand), all of a sudden I was back listening to the very annoying piano music. I assume she was just filtering calls but then on 26 minutes I was cut off while patiently waiting for someone else to answer me. Very poor service, and shows a complete lack of respect for Flymo clients. As a result, I will definitely avoid this brand in future and in the meantime I'm stuck with a strimmer which I can't use.
Recently bought an Easiglide Plus 360v…
Recently bought an Easiglide Plus 360v to replace a very old Flymo, that had functioned well throughout its life .
My initial feedback - this new mower is INCREDIBLY NOISY. So much so that I have tested it with a meter and near the blade it reads very nearly 100Db .
Husqvarna have not responded to me raising this - but that seems par for the course , if you analyse across all reviews .
I’m considering rejecting the mower , but am currently wearing ear-defenders ( shouldn’t be necessary , and is not good for my community / neighbours) .
Apart from that , is flimsier that previous product , but seems to cut and collect OK .
Not sure what alternative / reliable hovermowers there are ?

Called customer service almost 2 months ago. I was told the batteries we had were faulty and that’s why they don’t work. A new set would be sent out with 10-14 days. It’s been almost 2 months, no batteries! 6-7 calls in between. All useless staff on the phone. False promises. Avoid flymo
Buy a Flymo at your peril.
Last Saturday I ordered a Flymo from Amazon, which arrived on Sunday. On Monday I assembled it and started to cut my lawn. All was well for around 2 hours, then it stopped working altogether.
As it was a warm day I wondered if the mower had a thermal cut out that I couldn't see so I contacted Flymo Customer Services to ask. Their response was unbelievable. They said they could not confirm or deny anything by email and I should return the mower to Amazon. All I asked was if it had a thermal cut out!
Clearly Husqvana, who own Flymo, do not provide any form of customer service whatsoever. I would not recommend anyone to purchase one of their products if this is the kind of help they provide. Heaven knows what happens if you try put in a claim on their so called two year warranty.

FHV250 exploded the third time that it was used.
It was supposed to be a hover mower, but the motor is not powerful enough to lift up the surprisingly heavy machine. The grass collector is tiny. The power cable is not long enough to extend across even the smallest of lawns.
To fold the handle for storage/carriage you need to waste a lot of time unscrewing the central bolts. To adjust the spacers you need a strongman and an industrial wrench to undo the nut.

I emailed Flymo as it broke after 5 months of purchase and only used it twice. Still waiting on reply. What is the point in a warranty if you are met with no correspondence. Highly unprofessional and do not recommend
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Purchased a Flymo after previously owning 2 others. It broke after 1 year within its warranty.
Contacted customer service & received a replacement which was given without a warranty.
This one has since burnt out after 2 uses. Contacted customer services again who offered us 20% off another replacement!
Paid for someone to look at repairing the Flymo, who informed us that he has had this happen numerous times.
The parts are now inferior & poorly made. Grass gets inside the cooling mechanism & inside the motor which causes this issue.
What a total waste of money & would never recommend or buy again!

Bought a lawnmower today as it’s spring and everything getting over grown I notice on the box it stated the 2 batteries are fully charged when fixing it all together ( definitely need 2 people holding things in ) the batteries wasn’t charged and could off saved me time today knowing it not sure why they would put on a box fully charged batteries when it’s not shocking

Absolute Zero star product. Fell to pieces after just over 2 years or 1 year of actual use. This product demonstrates the compete fall from grace of the Flymo brand. I read the reviews and thought it can't be that bad having owned previous Flymo mowers for over 35 years BUT no they were correct. Flawed design on nearly every point, it is obvious they don't test the products in the real world and now made from thin, flimsy cheap plastics. Contacted Flymo customer service, yep they are as bad as the Trust Pilot reviews etc say. Avoid answering the questions you ask and say its out of warranty, no spare parts available so buy a new one!! I provided pictures showing them the flat lawn that it has to cut and how could that cause the failure as shown in the pictures but they simply fobbed me off. I will provide the email responses if required.
Never again Flymo will you take a penny from me, keep doing what you are doing and do not be surprised at the demise of Flymo once customers take their hard earned money to better brands!

This replaces my old 330 lawn mower which had lasted me for 5 plus years. The motor still works but the blade securing bolt sheared off half way through cutting my front lawn, plus the bearing were on their way out and the cable is getting a bit brittle so I decided on a new one rather than repair.
The packaging was very poor, this was either previously a display item at Argos or it was a return, the protective bags and sleeves were just thrown in the box, the orange casing is scratched with a particularly noticeable deep scratch. However, it works perfectly fine, so I won't be returning it.
Contrary to some reviews saying that securing bolt cannot be unfastened, I also had a similar issue, yes it was very tight, possibly machine tightened! I did thought I was going to break the plastic tool, so I used an adjustable spanner. It is now very easy to change the spacers as required using the plastic tool.
The fan intake does not get any more clogged than my old Flymo 330, you simply clean it when you empty the basket, just like I did on my old one. Nor does the mower scatter cuttings any worse than the old model. Like the old model, I also use it to pick up leaves and other debris. Hence, I haven't felt the need to buy a garden vacuum/blower.
I do not like this design, the old model the arms folded down on themselves for easy storage under the bench, this model they do not. The cable stowage was also much better as it was on a spring loaded clasp, much easier to remove. I am thinking of modifying the arm and the cable stowage, knowing that it will void the 2 year manufacturer warranty. Dare I risk it? I’ll see how much of an inconvenience it becomes.
So far I have only used it once, yes I am generally pleased with it, it is very efficient and leaves the garden very clean and tidy. The rollers on the front do enable you to stripe your lawn. I hope that this mower lives up to the longevity and clean cutting of my previous 330.
Do not buy there products
There customer services is appalling. Needed a transformer for a robotic lawnmower which is only 6 months old 4 weeks later and still waiting. They won't answer phone sent them emails won't reply. I will never buy flymo or any other make they own. Wish I had read reviews about them before ordering.
We only have a small lawn
We only have a small lawn. So thought the flymo vac 270 would be perfect. NO!!. We had a new lawn put down this yr. When it was time to cut it we got a new mower. It's dug the garden up in 4 places. Not Impressed it's the worst mower we've had. DONT BUY!!! We got our money back.
Powervac 3000 stopped working
Powervac 3000 stopped working, tried calling customer service, but nobody answered. Sent an email to customer services quoting product and serial number as requested, they said they can't access their registration database and require proof of purchase, which I no longer have. So a company the size of Flymo expects customers to hold on to tiny pieces of paper for two years, but they can't even access their own database! Absolute joke and complete rip off.
Never buy Flymo cordless lawnmower, Awful
Purchased Flymo cordless lawnmower this summer as my old Bosch one broke after many years of service. This lawnmower is awful to say the least. It cannot cut grass more than 2 mm long. It splatters grass all over the lawn and nearby surfaces. The battery runs for less than half an hour and then takes 2-3 hrs to charge. It takes the whole weekend’s commitment to cut the grass on my small lawn. It’s completely useless. DO NOT BUY! I have lost my money and never buying one of their products again. I can’t give them less than one star, but if I could I would give them minus 5!
