I had a flymo easiglide 330 but as the blade has seized I thought I'd buy the easiglide 360 which I think is a upgrade ? Well the only 1 positive about the 360 is folds away neatly. Compared to the 330 there's been a few changes. The basket no handle, the grass rather go outside the box and blow everywhere even up your legs....if I had a choice I'd stick with the 330 easiglide
Easi Store 340R Li battery fiasco
After assembling the Easi Store 340R Li I bought a year ago I found out the batteries didn't work. They wouldn't charge. I had to disassemble the product and return to Homebase for a replacement as Flymo (husqvarna parent company) didn't carry any spares.
The product worked fine last summer but now one of the batteries isn't working and nowhere seems to sell them. Ebay has many that, funnily enough, don't charge. These are for sale to be refurbished.
When it works the product is pretty good. But the battery situation means it has to be a strong non-recommendation and go with a company that provides working batteries, replacement batteries or a petrol mower.
Flymo EasiGlide - doesnt 'Fly' doesn't 'glide' (easily or otherwise)
Bought Flymo 330 EasiGlide from Homebase and returned 1 hr later. Reasons - even on flat concrete surface the product barely 'hovers' and on a lawn with a very slight incline it just dug in. What grass it managed to remove was 'chewed' not 'cut'. Appreciate the product is limited by physics but this should be made clear in the product details - may be ok on a bowling green (or snooker table). On the plus side, easy to assemble and documentation was clear. Btw, I tried all the different hover settings - essentially plastic disks you need between the blade and the fan (requiring removal of the blade so not that convenient at all). I can also confirm the blade was put on the correct way.
New Wheeled Lawnmower useless from May to December.
Bought a Flymo Wheeled Lawnmower in May 2021 and the wheel fell off on first use. I needed a small retaining clip to refit the wheel which I tried to get through the supplier. This seemed a simple task but unfortunately with several emails, some phone calls and several promises nothing was forthcoming from Flymo until mid December. A whole mowing season lost. When I required Electric Garden equipment the first name to occur to me was Flymo, but it will be a cold day in hell before I buy Flymo again. Just too big to care and they don't. The majority of reviews are bad and I just wish I had seen them and taken notice before buying
Reconditioned Lawnmower and very helpful customer services
Bought a Speedi-Mo 360VC corded lawnmower from the Flymo Outlet Store. It was a reconditioned mower although it looked unused so was happy especially as it was two thirds the price of a new one.
Discovered two pieces missing from the grass box. Phoned Flymo customer services who were extremely helpful and I received a replacement grass box two days later.
Can’t vouch for its operation as it’s now autumn. It has a years full guarantee so I’m covered for next years mowing season, if there’s any problems Flymo will be the first to know.
Moving to other brands
Disappointed with the replacement they sent under warranty; the new machine lacked power and is in my view not similar in any other way other than it was to cut grass.
The machine only lasted 14 months prior to the motor burning out. Shortage of parts, which is understandable however felt this was just ticking a box on Flymos part.
Bought a battery lawnmower
Bought a battery easistore lawnmower for £199,00 via AO.com. Has a lack of power and I have had three batteries fail within a year. It takes two batteries to work which take ages to charge (around 3 hours) and give you about an hour of grass cutting. Already had two batteries replaced so far and was told by customer services then that there is not a reported issue with the integrity of the batteries.... well there clearly is for it to happen again. I had to wait 6 weeks previously for a replacement one and my grass was knee high by the time the replacement arrived and the flymo couldn’t cut it! so I have gone out and bought a new mower by another brand. Have used flymos with no issues for the past 20 years. Recommend not to bother buying a cordless product from flymo, the batteries and charger are crude and nothing like what you get elsewhere with battery pack and charger. There are lot of similar reviews stating the same problems as I have had with the battery dying…… Massively disappointed! Item not fit for purpose! Should be taken off sale!
As of the 15th Dec... not refunded
Absolutely sickening poor customer…
Absolutely sickening poor customer service. The customer service team sadly have an average IQ below 10 and the inability to Function correctly. 3 weeks ago I contacted them reference a warranty issue, followed up with 2 calls and 3 emails....still no joy! Avoid at all costs or else you will be stranded With a duff product
Various items from Flymo - all broke
Wow, this company is bad.
Don't care either
Assumptive Mysyngony
Assumptive Mysyngony?
Distanced understanding of the users of this product but a range of diverse individuals?
Poor design of a many features of what should be an outstanding possibility in a saturated market of similar machines.
The 'grass collector' is the most obvious.
Having spent hours trying to 'put together' the resolutely refuses to co-operate.
I have, after numerous attempts at attempting to check & and sort the above, I need to say that this model is hugely lacking in what the likes of Bosch and other providers give.
The instructions are vague and unclear.
Taking the wheels off to reduce/increase the cutting hight? Really ??
Come on?
I'm a single person with very limited time, Autism and ADHD. I purchase this lawn mower on Amazon at (allegedly) £20 less than marked price.
Why? because of the branding.
How wrong could I be??
No point in returning the (used) mower to Amazon, because the design and related 'Flymo' issues are not theirs.
I hear from others on Trust Pilot that there's a general swirl of discontent about design and quality; so, why the heck are we continuing to field this???

Awful product
Awful product, just awful.
After my previous Flymo cordless mower went kaput because the terminals in the battery bent (this happened earlier when I bought it- replaced), I gave the mower away and purchased the latest model Easistore 300 (March 2020) which seemed to have seriously addressed the battery issue.
However the two, now very easy to install batteries lasted just 20 minutes and took 3 hours to charge. After much correspondence, Flymo sent out two spare batteries.
I then found faults:-
The collection bin tilts forward so all the clippings stay near the opening and always spill out when taking the bin off.
The only three height settings are inefficient:- the lowest scalps the grass and the highest doesn't engage the roller. So that leaves one setting.
To set the height you have to individually move each wheel against a loaded spring.
The underside is pocked with random nooks and crannies which obviously fill with grass.
And back to the batteries: after hibernation in a dry brand new garage over the winter, three of four batteries were completely dead. Couldn't be charged.
Shortly after that , the fourth gave out.
Look on e Bay and see all the cordless Flymo mowers where batteries are dead/faulty/absent
Flymo EasiGlide 300v & Hover Vac 270
EasiGlide 300v.
Upon assembling, I notice that the Upper Handle is split; on both sides of the tube, where the Upper Handle is pierced with a square hole to enable Upper Cable Hook to be bolted to the handle. (That's why airliners don't have square windows).
Exchanged for Hover Vac 270 - within a minute of operation a Handle Fixing Pin (plastic) had vibrated free, allowing the handle to become detached from the mower body.
Rectified by utilising plastic pins with safety wire (like a split pin). These probably came from a mower cannibalised several years ago.
Purposefully stalling refund process
Having received a faulty Fymo Easyglide in May, which lasted all of two uses, we commenced in early July to pursue, initially an exchange. However, having been ignored and stalled for over a month now, we find ourselves in mid August still trying to organise a pick up so that a refund can be issued. The shoddy customer service response has meant that not only do we want another product from this company, we are now on the brink of contacting trading standards to get our money back. This company's customer service is not fit for purpose.
Flymo turbo 250 lite warranty awful
This is the third Flymo I have bought and the worst
Two pivot pins failed within two months tried to get two under warranty and they said they are out of stock !contact Flymo direct so there is a obvious fault, waiting for Flymo to reply
This fault is on the Flymo 250 turbo lite.Flymo a name you can trust not under this warranty awful

Flymo 1200R Robotic Lawnmower
Flymo 1200R Robotic Lawnmower
How incredible is this little compact piece of engineering…
Quite easy to set up and once you have mastered the precise location of the guide wire and charging station it’s a pleasure and rather hypnotic to watch it in action.
I say ‘it’….
I really should refer to her by her proper name now she’s part of the family.
‘LORNA’ has earned her place in our hearts and she’s a valued member of our clan.
She keeps our grass trimmed to perfection and she works hard.
We honestly could not be without her now.

We bought a glider compact 330ax what a load of rubbish, it chucks grass everywhere, only collects say 60% leaves on ground. Contacted flymo after a couple of emails, they told me I’d bought the wrong machine. Didn’t offer any suggestions or alternatives.. very dissatisfaction. AVIOD AVIOD, DO NOT BUY.......
Utterly useless from start to finish,
So the lawnmower arrived and it was just awful, handles were bent, and manufacturing really poor indeed. Sent it back and despite them having it on the 8th June, still no refund even begun to be processed by 22nd June. Robbing scam artists !!!
Flymo HoverVac 270 - Loud and Inefficient
I bought a Flymo HoverVac 270 a few weeks ago to replace the latest Flymo I've had for the last 6 or 7 years. Only having a small garden, these mowers are generally the best solution, but flymos in general are far from ideal.
The Garden Vac 270 is incredibly noisy at just over 96 db, and actually comes with an obvious noise warning certificate when you open the box. I have to wear ear defenders while using it as it is uncomfortably loud.
It moves fairly well and is quite light, but its cutting efficiency is extremely poor. You have to mow over each bit 4 or 5 times to get an even finished cut. This is wasteful of both time and electricity.
My impression is that the design has been 'value engineered' to within an inch of its life. There is much about this which just seems too cheap, from the puny clips which hold the grass box in place (I just know they are going to break before the guarantee runs out) to the lack of consideration as to how the user can effectively clean away grass cuttings from its motor vents and other places. It feels as though the designers have never actually used one to cut a real lawn.
Generally, I'm un-impressed by this machine, and I sincerely hope it will be the last mower I have to buy while I live here. Moving to a house with a larger garden which justifies a self-propelled petrol mower or even one which I can sit on is a far better proposition than buying another mower like this one.
Flymo have given me a 5 year guarantee on this item, and given the build quality, I expect that at some point in that period I will have to talk with their service department.
Very poor customer service…
The lawnmower I bought has a toggle fastening the handles together missing. I bought it in January but hadn’t opened it until March. I have been trying to get the toggle since then but the customer service is rubbish and seem to be ignoring me! Don’t waste your money! Before you ask me again for my ref its Flymo/McCulloch/GARDENA Service
