We were relatively experienced foragers but had no idea regarding the medicinal properties of such common and readily available plants. Emily was not only extremely knowledgeable but had a friendly and approachable presenting style. Would definitely book her again.
Good value also I thought. Will do again.

We had a lovely time in Borough Green (Kent) with Emily. She is super knowledgeable and was very helpful. It was a lovely experience, I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful few hours with Emily, she was very knowledgeable, patient & caring. I'm looking forward to trying the Oxymel that I made, & am already thinking that I might want to go on another Forage & Nibble event, at a different time of year, to be able to identify / taste other medicinal plants.

We were lucky to have a dry sunny day in March and to have Jim as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining with stories and anecdotes about all the specimens we could and should not eat. We learned how to collect safely and sustainably and how to cook and preserve certain items. It was incredible many delicious leaves, shoots, plants and buds we found in such a small stretch of the Lancaster canal.

Richard was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic to share his experience and understanding. He was also not afraid to say what he didn’t know and to urge caution. We were given an excellent base from which to learn more. I highly enjoyable afternoon

We had a fantastic foraging trip on Saturday morning to Frodsham. Rachel, our guide, was so lovely, very knowledgeable, and gave us a wonderful morning. We would highly recommend these workshops, and we will definitely be booking for autumn!

Had a great time with Rachel. Learnt a lot and got to try some of the plants which was very interesting.

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Weather was kind but Richard was so knowledgeable and friendly and his wild garlic pesto was out of this world- would highly recommend- Sarah and Chris

Richard was absolutely wonderful. We had the best time foraging and haven't stopped talking about it and recommending the experience to everyone. The course was perfectly pitched, beginner friendly, yet we've come away having learnt so much and been really excited to put these skills into practice. Richard's enthusiasm for foraging was infectious! Thanks again for the time you took to answer all our questions. Can't wait to come back in a different season and learn more.

Had a really good time on the foraging course. Pete was an excellent host, really knowledgable and approachable. I enjoyed talking with him. His cake was excellent too! All round it was a great day, my only critique would be to encourage people to apply the knowledge as youre learning a little. There is a lot to take in so for me it would be a good way to test the knowledge and learn more deeply. I appreciate this might be more personal to my learning style, so more of a comment than anything else. Would reccomend

Alex was a fantastic guide on our foraging trip near Ledbury! Really enthusiastic and could answer any questions we had, the food he prepared at the end was also delicious and so well thought out. Will definitely be doing more courses with forage box.

An excellent foraging experience in Heversham, Cumbria. Jim is a super teacher, he knows his stuff and takes time to cover a topic in detail. We found plenty over a short walk and then he cooked us a tasty pasta dish with elfcups, wild garlic, nettle and so on. Recommended experience. Thanks

Jim was engaging, knowledgeable and very approachable. No expectations of previous knowledge, which makes for a kind and reassuring introduction.

I would say there wasnt as much variety at this location as previous foraging days (this was my 3rd one!). But thats the nature of foraging in a nutshell? You never know what you might find and the time of year perhaps.

Advice to others is to wrap up there's a lot of standing and listening. You could probably bring a camping chair if you had a bad back.

I am already planning my 4th forage and im sure there will be more after!

Fantastic foraging walk near Heversham. Jim was a very knowledgeable guide, learned a lot about the different plants, which has made me look at the countryside around me (and even what's in my garden) in a different light. The snack he made at the end was truly delicious. Highly recommend for anyone interested in nature and/or food.

I love your delicious wild garlic pesto. I eat ate least three jars a month 🥹

Most enjoyable foraging morning led by Jim (Forage Box) alongside Arnside coast, meadow and woods. He was very knowledgeable, engaged with our group well and we were impressed with his chef experience as he prepated a tasty meal in the woods with our foraged finds. Had not appreciated how bountiful plants would be in early March. Enjoyable experience all round. Definitely would recommend to anyone interested in nature and outdoors, at any age or experience. There is always something new to learn and discover with the experts at Forage Box.

Joel Y is extremely knowledgeable and personable, imparting a lot of information entertainingly in a short space of time.
There was no question he didn't have the answer for and I definitely feel more confident about my identification skills now.
The foraged ingredient snacks at the end were very tasty, with gluten free and vegan catered for beautifully, and very much appreciated. And the hot chai was also very welcome on a cold day. He showed us that even winter months are very productive times to forage too.
