Laurence and Found was one of the best experiences I've had when applying for funding. Access to their dashboard was worth the application alone, but receiving hyper-personalised feedback with specific points was incredibly validating.

As a start up applying to Found Capital was a relatively painless process. They provide a benchmarking option which was really informative and they are one of the few investors who take the time to provide feedback.

The process was very clear and I was kept up to date on how the process was running and they set clear expectations on when I would hear back on each round was to be received, and ultimately got detailed feedback on their decision.

While it was sad not to be able to look up the founding members profiles on the website, which i think would give it more of a personal touch - it was fabulous to receive the individual feedback given unlike many other angel groups.

Found through LinkedIn through one of our VCs and got talking to. An interesting model as it’s all done online / automation / algorithms etc and they feedback clearly and openly on process and ideas with the good and bad. Smallish cheques and open debate over whether it’s better to get to know founders and ideas in depth / f2f etc but I like their model and open and friendly guys.

In a world renowned for being a black hole, it's been very refreshing submitting our startup pitch deck to Found Capital for review.

We submitted online and received a quick confirmation that it had been received which included an overview of next steps. Despite it being the end of year holiday period, Laurence kept us updated on the status. When we did receive the feedback it was specific and actionable. I even replied to provide some additional context and received a very helpful response.

We didn't progress to the next step, but we got the respect and feedback that every startup founder wants and needs. There are a LOT of VCs and funds that could learn from their approach.

The startup world moves fast and companies iterate and pivot, just because our business isn't right for VC investment now, when we are successful I know who I'll be answering emails from, and who not.
