Beyond a doubt the absolute best business and staff to deal with regarding the purchase of music instruments, equipment and merchandise anywhere. Being from the USA I wasn't sure about doing business in Australia because I thought it would be too expensive considering the cost to ship... I was wrong. Found Sound has a large inventory of merchandise that are fair and competitively priced, they will work with you to get you the best deal they can offer that other's just can't match. Factor in the USD exchange currency rate advantage to the AUD and you have added purchasing power and value. I'm really impressed and would definitely do business again in the future, and highly recommend them to anyone. Based on recommendation from another music shop, I contacted Found Sound about selling my two keyboards (Nord Stage EX Compact, Korg Kronos X 73) on commission.

Lewis and Gab were excellent to deal with. They were methodical, professional and insightful in dealing with my questions and enquiries, working to ensure that pricing was on-point and updating me as required.

The gear sold in less than 4 months, and money was transferred in a timely manner.

They also have A LOT of great gear (new and second hand) on the shop floor and I would definitely consider paying them a visit when buying (or selling) more musical gear.

Highly recommended for both selling and buying quality musical equipment.

This is a really great shop. I bought 3 older collectible pedals that they shipped to Arizona. Fantastic communication. They were friendly and exceedingly helpful providing additional photos. I love Found Sound. Best music store Australia. I check out the website nearly every day to see what new stuff is coming in. I live 4hrs away but still visit a couple of times a year and have done so since Lewis first hung a guitar in the window of the old shop in Elgin Street. I just sold a guitar on consignment and the friendly and knowledgable team helped me get a great price without the stress…they have a huge range of new, used and vintage gear…if you love music this is the place…I could go on and on but you should just go there

I cannot recommend found sound more highly. I was hesitant to buy a guitar from anywhere other than my regular store, let alone have one delivered, but my guitar arrived the next day in perfect condition and already tested.
