Fourth Frontier offers a product and service that has changed the way I manage my life. I have had Fourth Frontier X2 for nearly four years. It has worked reliably with nearly daily use. It has given me insights into my health which were unable to achieve with any other products. I had encountered a handful of software issues along the way, and support was fast to respond and provide guidance, or take the input to their developers for improvement. After nearly four years of using the unit, the hardware and solution proved reliable and effective, and I have decided to upgrade to the Frontier X Plus. There are no better products and solutions offered than with the customer service that Fourth Frontier provides, if you want to have the best insights into your cardiovascular health and fitness. While I am extremely fit and active, that alone was insufficient. I experience cardiovascular anomalies at times, such as AFib and palpitations, that are related to other aspects of my health. Having a solution that I can trust helps me know that I am managing those other health conditions well.

Recently I had problems with the device not charging and re-contacted Poonam Agarwal with whom had helped me previously. After explain all the steps I had gone through Poonam sent me a mail back label to return the device for a replacement. In today's business climate, where people and companies give "promises to deliver", few deliver as well as Poonam and her Frontier team did. She (as the face of the company) deserves and receives 5 stars from a very satisfied customer !! I can't praise Poonam enough for her timely response, clear communication, and willingness to help in a professional manner. Thank you, Poonam, and the entire Frontier Team!

It’s a game changer for me as someone who underwent an ablation for SVT(AVNRT). The peace of mind and confidence this device allows is well worth the cost. Highly recommend.

There is no proper app phone connection. The app is not very detailed. The parameter should also compare with benchmark like age waight and tell how I am performing among my fellow aged people.

Poonam tried to help me on a daily basis with trying to resolve my new Frontier Zone connection problems. After trying various instructions from Poonam, neither solved the problem, with either connecting with my Garmin 1030 plus cycling computer, or Frontier X on my Apple 16 Pro phone app. Eventually, I managed to solve the problem myself, by updating the software on the Frontier X app on my phone. This allowed me to connect with my Garmin computer and Frontier X app on my phone.

My experience with the Fourth Frontier support team was outstanding. They were very responsive and got back to my every inquiry or question. My initial X2 device was having some difficulty charging, though it required some back and forth, the support team sent me a new device that worked perfectly and also is charging perfectly, which the original never did effectively. The data that the X2 delivers it outstanding. My doctors have used it to look at what happens with my workouts. It works very well with my Garmin products and also works effectively with my Apple products. I'm very happy.

I had a problem with the battery. It was not accepting a charge. Poonam gave a detailed instructions to deal with the issue. Poonam also suggested a new cable. A new cable worked. Extremely good communication from the support team who were genuinely interested in solving the problem.

We imported a Frontier X Plus ECG Monitor to South Africa after hearing good reports from my son in New Zealand. My wife is suffering from Afib. Once arrived it was put into action and performed well, but consistently reported low battery when below about 70%. After a firmware update it decided to stop working. This was discussed with Frontier support and the fault was shared during one of FF's face to face video meetings. The result was that FF immediately dispatched a complete replacement from the United States. In my book good service can't get better than that. Well done FF and thanks for great support.

An excellent product well worth the money!!
This device works more than just keeping track of vitals during exercise. I know the Frontier X2 was developed for people to wear while exercising, but I have been wearing the Frontier X2 every day 24 hours a day since my AFib diagnosis in 2022. I use it to continuously keep track of my heart rate. I do not feel Afib symptoms when they occur.
The vibrating alarm system on the X2 alerts me when my heart rate gets above my normal heart rate. Alerting me that my heart is racing or fluttering. One of the best features X2 has is the ability show a live ECG report in real time. It can assist you in knowing if you need medical help or not. It has saved a trip to the emergency room.
My device started improperly working and I contacted Fourth Frontier. It took several emails, but they helped solve my problem. The customer service team was stellar in their service. I can't thank them and their team enough for the patience and help I received.
They replaced my device at no charge. How many companies would extend a service such as that? Not many.
I highly recommend Frontier X2 and look forward to purchasing the new Frontier X Plus.

I bought this (Frontier X Plus) to monitor PVCs that I was having and try to determin the burden from them over period of rest and workout activity, walking etc. My physician ordered a 2 week patch monitor which did not come even after two weeks. I ordered this and had it up and running in a week and it works as advertised. They only classify PVCs as Inconclusive. Only AFIB is positively identified as well as Bradycardia and Tachycardia. For my use - Inconclusive is basically telling my I have irregular rhythm and its PVCs in my case. Works well, occasionaly with dry skin - it says unreadable - but a slight moving and resetting of the strap brings it back online. It works for 8-10 hour sleep monitoring or just an hour of interval training or yoga. All the things I cannot do with just my Apple watch or Whoop.

I’ve been using the Frontier X2 Smart Heart Rate Monitor chest strap for about six months, and it’s become a key part of my daily routine. I use it across a wide range of activities—Peloton Bike+, running, stretching, meditation, HIIT, yoga, indoor and outdoor cycling, and strength training. I also deal with heart rhythm issues, including arrhythmias, PACs, PVCs, possible AFib, and occasional pauses, so having consistent, reliable monitoring is important to me.
What stands out most is its ability to track heart activity during sleep. It captures every beat and provides detailed insights like heart strain, HRV, and sleep stages (awake, REM, light, and deep). The strap is very comfortable, even overnight, and the battery lasts several days with heavy use. The data has been incredibly useful in helping me evaluate whether my lifestyle changes are actually making a difference.
One of the biggest takeaways for me has been seeing how well my treatment is working. The device has helped confirm that my medication is effective—and more importantly, that my CPAP therapy has made a huge impact. I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), which likely contributed to my heart rhythm issues. Despite being fit and having what my doctors call an “athlete’s heart,” this had gone undetected for years. Since starting CPAP, my arrhythmia burden during sleep has dropped from around 70% to about 7%, and it continues to improve.
I also use a Kardia 6L, which is great, but it doesn’t provide the same continuous tracking or depth of data as the Frontier X2.
As a web applications developer, I really appreciate the software experience. Both the mobile app and the web dashboard are clean, intuitive, and recently updated. The interface makes it easy to understand the data, and I especially like how it clearly flags arrhythmias so you don’t have to manually scan through ECG recordings.
Yes, it’s a bit pricey—but in my opinion, it’s absolutely worth it. I was so impressed that I even bought one for a friend who’s a nurse and nationally certified ECG technician at Kaiser. I also pay for the yearly subscription, and I find it well worth the cost.
Overall, I’m genuinely glad a device like this exists. It’s given me real insight into my heart health and helped me track meaningful progress. If you’re considering it, I’d definitely recommend it—you’ll likely love it as much as I do.

This is an important device to monitor my progress. I use it almost every day to track individual workouts. In addition I have worn it overnight to track my heart rate during sleep (once a month). This is a high fidelity measurement device coupled with software to track trends both individual workouts and week/month trends.

I have had my device, the Frontier X 2, for almost two years now. Over that time, I had an issue with the device rectified quickly following some email communication with their support team, who helped me reset the device. I have also had a couple of live Zoom/Teams calls with them to discuss the results I was getting with the device, which I was unclear about. They have always been quick to answer my support questions, and they even accommodated times for the live calls outside of their normal hours, which was great. I use the device at least 4 days of the week when training, and I am overall very happy with my purchase.

Product did not work for me. Kept getting noise in my data regardless of what I did spending time with Customer support. However the customer support team was extremely responsive, polite and accommodating. This would have been zero stars without their support and help. Resulted in full refund of my cost. Now receiving calls from customer support to change or remove my review. So dont trust the reviews you do see. There are other products out there try one of them.
