First-rate service

Over the years I've been with Bentley Walker, the people I've had dealings with have been very responsive - both the accounts team & the techies. They listen and then advise.
Extremely customer-friendly.

Bizarre Reading

When the installer had finished he said it was working on 36.8 ,when l got home l tried one of my apps for internet speed and it said 22 and l tried the other app and that said 25,when we tried to download a program from catchup it took forever to download,so far a bit disappointed with the speed

Support Whilst O2 was unavailable

Freedomsat kept in touch with us whilst O2 was not available and provided an alternative to O2 so I could continue to work from home and my husband run his small business. The follow up to ensure we had an appropriate connection was brilliant and Kevin was friendly and very helpful. It was most annoying for O2 to be down for so look but Freedomsat kept us up and running - thank you Kevin and the team.

Switched from Virgin and haven’t looked back

I’ve left it a month or so before leaving this review. Overall great service. I worked with Kevin over email support who went above and beyond to help me get set up and get the most out of my speeds. I’ve downgraded from Virgin Fibre and turns out I really didn’t need all those extra Mbps speeds. I’m on an average of 30Mbps now which is more than enough for 2 of us in the house working from home on Zoom, gaming, streaming, etc. Really happy I made the switch!

Switching satellite

Freedomsat organised my switchover to a different satellite service very smoothly. I was well informed before I made my choice and everything was organised.
I did have a bit of difficulty with the company they chose to install it however - the appointment was cancelled twice.

Viasat Migration

We were contacted by Bentley Walker as the Hylas 2 satellite for our Avanti subscription was apparently being decommissioned within one month.

We were told that we would have to migrate to a new Viasat subscription and that a new dish and hardware would be required.

The setup would cost us £100, and the new subscription would be an extra £6 a month on our invoice.

An appointment was arranged for an engineer from Satworks to remove the old dish and install the new one, as well as a new router.

The engineer turned up a day later than agreed, and could not complete the work as he apparently could not find a signal with the new dish.

We were left with no means of internet for two weeks, having to rely on a mobile broadband connection to run a business, which was incredibly frustrating.

Eventually the Satworks engineer attended and set up the dish, but instead of taking away the old dish and hardware, we were told by Bentley Walker that we needed to make our own arrangements to dispose of the equipment at our own time and cost.

Bentley Walker have agreed to credit our account for the disruption and have since made arrangements for the old dish to be collected.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I am sorry to hear about the issues that you have faced with the migration to the Viasat network. The decommissioning of the existing satellite was unexpected, whilst we were unable to provide the equipment free of charge, we were able to provide the new equipment at a greatly reduced price with free installation included. It is true that uninstallation and removal of the equipment is not included as part of the process, but our sales team has been trying to get in touch with you to discuss the removal of the equipment, I would ask that you reach out to them at your convenience to discuss further.

Regarding the installation and alignment issues experienced, we can see that this was related to efforts by the first team dispatched to your location with another team sent to complete the work at a later date. An internal review has highlighted no issues with the configuration of your Viasat equipment and subscription and so our sales team will follow up with Satworks to better understand what went wrong. I can see that credits were applied in line with our internal review policy which allows time to ensure that any issue is fully resolved with no requirement for residual work before calculating the value of any credit to be applied.

Customer service was absolutely…

Customer service was absolutely brilliant other than I was told it would be unlimited data usage which I believe is not the case , no complaints other than that …… so far so good 👍

In regard to your comments about unlimited data, I can confirm that all of our services include unlimited data, but our Starlink and Viasat services operate a priority data with unlimited standard data model. Priority data does have a fixed GB data allocation but once used you will automatically switch to unlimited standard data mode. I have passed your comments through to our sales manager so that they can discuss with the sales team to ensure this adequately explained to future potential customers.

Recently changed satellite

Recently changed satellite, with freedomsat and had a new dish and modem installed by their very efficient installer Eamonn. The installation was fast and with no issues. Great Company and very helpful when you call them and need help with something. I totally recommend freedomsat

Excellent service

Excellent service ,and the engineer who fitted it was extremely professional and worked through the rain and wind and so far it’s working very well

Unhappy customer

The internet service only worked steady for 10 days. We were told a piece of equipment needed replacing. When it arrived it made no difference. I spent 55.00 speaking with staff on my mobile trying to find a solution. In the end we cancelled our subscription. All in all it's been an expensive waste of money and time.
