Highly recommended

Ordered two sets of the Aerolyte tops/Hybrid shorts. A genuine error with their dispatch, resulted in the non arrival of this order and in its place, something else. Excellent customer service from Freetrain, a prompt reply to my message, a timely resolution and the relevant order dispatched and arriving with me within 2 days. Yes, I needed to take some photos, but that's no problem!. I have read some of the other reviews here, and would urge you to make contact with Freetrain through their Email which is clearly displayed on their website. Give them a chance to rectify any issues before leaving negative comments and I am confident you will not be disappointed. I am still waiting for an exchange for the Black Hybrid shorts, which came up a little tighter than the other colour of the same size, but given the time of year I would be surprised if they are able to get this to me before Xmas, and I wouldn't blame them if not. This exchange request was easy and again a prompt response (within hours), providing the address to send them to and clear instructions. This was my first order with them, my son loves the feel and quality of their products and I have no doubt that he/me will be a returning customer. As the title of this review says - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED company.

Unknown fees

Throughout process was unaware of fees added for an item under 100$ shipping from UK to USA, apparently not gona receive package so just waiting on my refund!

placed an order over two weeks ago and…

placed an order over two weeks ago and it still hasn’t been shipped. There’s been no meaningful update, no tracking information, and no clear communication about what’s causing the delay.

I understand things can happen, but going this long without any progress is really frustrating, especially when I was expecting the item within a reasonable timeframe. At this point, I wouldn’t recommend ordering from this company unless they seriously improve their shipping times and customer communication.

I still don’t have my order

I still don’t have my order. And the shipping cost was more than the product. Absolutely ridiculous.

12/8/2025 as of today I still don’t have my order. No updates via shipping from the tracking number provided. I have a few emails from Dani from freetrain customer support who didn’t have any updates. The additional shipping cost were fees from customs in order for it to clear and be shipped into the USA. These additional cost were never told to me or mentioned anywhere.

Order NOT RECEIVED

Order NOT RECEIVED! Delivery stated 1-3 days and charged at £3.99, placed on the 26th Nov, and still awaiting updates from the courier regarding delivery 9 days later! This is a Birthday gift, ordered in plenty of time and is NOW LATE! Very disappointing and frustrating! Freetrain are only sending me generic emails stating they wouldn’t chase my order until 7 working days after it was placed? If that’s the case they shouldn’t be advising customers delivery is 1-3 days OR charging for it! I’m still no further forward and help/assistance is not forthcoming! It appears they see it as my problem, not their’s! But I’M THE CUSTOMER!

We understand your frustration, but we do want to clarify the situation. You selected Standard Delivery, which typically aims for 1–3 working days but is not guaranteed (or advertised as). Standard delivery can take up to 7 working days in a normal week, and as explained to you via email this morning, this timeframe is often extended during peak periods such as Black Friday, when all couriers experience significant delays.

We have kept you updated and asked that you allow an extra day for the tracking to refresh, which is standard procedure when couriers are behind. If there is still no movement, we will escalate this with the courier as advised.

We appreciate that this is a birthday gift, and we are doing everything we can within the courier’s required timeframes.

Hi Jack,

Thanks for your review. To clarify, the courier’s delivery scan and timestamped photo confirmed your parcel was delivered to your secure location used for your previous orders. You advised it must have been taken from that spot, which means it must be treated as a potential theft.

In these cases, couriers require a crime reference number before they will open an investigation or allow us to issue a refund or replacement. Our last email requested this so we could raise the claim, but we didn’t receive a response.

Without the crime number the courier won’t accept a claim, so we’re unable to proceed. If you can provide it, we’ll be happy to reopen the case and assist further!

It’s a nice product but the phone…

It’s a nice product but the phone holder is smaller than my previous version. Barely got my iPhone into the sleeve. Otherwise, nice product. Company should tell you about additional fees that will be added AFTER charging a flat rate on shipping. Overall, won’t buy again. Too expensive. Will look for Made in USA

We’re glad to hear you like the product overall, but we’re sorry to learn about your concerns with the phone holder and shipping charges. To clarify, the phone pocket remains the same size as in all of our previous versions, so your iPhone should fit as before. If you’re having difficulty, you can gently try sliding you finger inbetween the plastic on the phone case & the phone when inserting or removing, when separating the two during insertion or removal, this should make it a little easier.

Regarding the additional fees, any customs or import duties are set and applied by the destination country’s customs authorities, not by us. These charges can vary depending on location, and unfortunately we have no control over them.

Shipping took a little longer than…

Shipping took a little longer than expected but that was due to problems with evri which free train customer service where very helpful with,
other than that a very good running vest will definitely be ordering from here again 🫡
