funecon funeral services Spain Reviews

I cannot recommend Funecon Funeral Services enough. My Dad passed away in Spain and they made the process run smoothly for us and they talked us through all of our options. They were always available via WhatsApp and it was easier speaking to someone who spoke fluent English. Very happy with this service.

Highly Recommended!

I had a really great experience with Funecon. From the beginning, everything was handled smoothly and professionally, in a very kind and respectful way given the hard circunstancies.

A special thanks to Raquel, who was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. She was always available to answer my questions, kept me updated, and made sure everything moved forward without any issues. Her support and dedication made a real difference.

Thank you, Raquel, and the entire Funecon team!

Sean provided exceptional support with arrangements in Spain after the passing of my father. Throughout all communications Sean was kind, respectful and considerate. He responded to my messages quickly, and gave confidence that all was in hand, even though we were working across continents, cultures and government systems. I could not recommend Sean and the Funecon team highly enough. Thanks Sean for your excellent support at the most difficult of times.

Great company, excellent service

Excellent support when it was most needed. I was very satisfied with the Funecon team. They provided clear and prompt communication and provided an excellent service.

We found Funecon to be reliable and competent. Seán went above and beyond for us as a family. We will be forever grateful.

We wanted to share our incredible experience with Funecon in Spain. We had the horrible tragedy of losing our 25 year-old-daughter suddenly and unexpectedly while on a trip to Barcelona. Since she was a US citizen, many forms and notifications were required and neither my husband nor I could not speak a word of Spanish. We were connected with Sean Young from Funecon after a search of ChatGPT, and he was a Godsend who took us through the painful process of bringing her home to California. Sean helped us navigate around Barcelona, helping taxi drivers find our destinations, coordinating with the hospitals and cremation services and was with us through every step of the process. Whether we called or texted at 6 a.m. or 10 p.m., Sean was there by our side through the most difficult time in our lives.

Although I'm American, my ancestry is Irish and I've always been in touch with my Irish roots. When I first spoke to Sean and heard his Irish accent, I knew that somehow my mother, now in Heaven, must have had something to do with helping us find him. What I especially appreciated about Sean was his calm, gentle demeanor. At one point I warned Sean that my phone technology skills were not great and to keep his sense of humor handy. His answer warmed my heart. "The Irish never leave that behind, even at our darkest moments. You're not alone". That kindness was typical for him and it made him extra special.

The people in Spain were happy to work with Funecon and Sean was an exceptional coordinator. We were able to finish all the processes in short order and we owe him a debt of gratitude for everything he did for us. I would never wish this experience on anyone but if it does happen, I can attest that Sean and Funecon can bring you through the process as painlessly as possible. I would give them a 10- star rating and would unhesitatingly recommend them and all their services. Thank you Funecon!
