Undoubtedly the best customer service in the UK
The service you get from the Gaggia UK team is at another level, I've never experienced anything like it. I had a problem with my machine and almost immediately after writing to them, I was on a video call showing them the issue, after which they arranged a collection. Repaired machine came back a few days later. If you email them, you quickly get a real, human, helpful and clear response (which is what happened to me today, inspiring this review). They are the best! And no matter how much I might be tempted in future to buy a different brand of machine, the Gaggia UK team are the reason I wouldn't.
Amazing Service by Dave and Tony
I was unable to replace the brew unit in my Gaggia Brera after cleaning. I used the zoom and chat for advice. Dave and Tony were amazing and solved the problem in minutes! Thank you.
Great coffee and excellent service
Great coffee and excellent service. Just received my Gaggia classic evo2024 and and am very pleased as it makes great coffee, however a bit of trial end error is needed to get the correct grind. Whilst more expensive, I went for the brass boiler after reading numerous reviews. The customer service from Raj and his team is highly recommended and I would not hesitate from buying from them again.
Best Customer Service over zoom
Danny over zoom solved everything to get my 8 year old Velesca machine fixed with a water issue and showed me a memory setting for coffee levels. Amazing Gaggia offer a zoom service like this and give Danny a pay rise for great service!
Efficient company selling great coffee machines
The friendliest, most helpful customer service one could ask for.
Raj was excellent talking through how to fix a problem & explained that as we have a very well used 7 year old machine it may give trouble again, after 3 months it did. After a straight forward discussion comparing cost of fixing/reconditioning vs new, a good deal was struck & a new shiny upgrade was delivered within days. Brilliant service.
Beware of Gaggia Classic Pro coated boilers
I was a little frustrated with Gaggia Direct. They continue to sell the Classic Pro coated boilers without providing customers a warning that there is a known issues where the coating flakes off and ends up in your coffee puck and / or steamed milk. I bought a coated boiler refurbished Classic Pro and brought it with me to Thailand where I currently reside. Unfortunately the dreaded black flakes started to appear. They did offer to send me a polished aluminium boiler for me to fit myself which I am OK with. Had I been in UK I think they would have fitted it for me. However, it was a frustrating experience where I had to wait for responses and send reminders. In the end I decided to upgrade to a brass boiler at my own cost to avoid further disappointment. My recommendation is to avoid the coated boiler machines like the plague. In my view Gaggia should not be allowed to continue selling these machines without giving customers a warning before buying or they should withdraw and fix them before selling. The fact that they are not doing that seems to show a blatant disregard for what has always been a loyal customer base

Had a problem with my Gaggia machine. They suggested rather than send it for a service that I join a Zoom call with an engineer. Their engineer Dave could not have been more helpful and friendly. Problem sorted. Could not be happier.
Great products and customer service to match
We've been very happy with the MD15 grinder we purchased from Gaggia a year ago, using it every day, it's been the perfect partner to our Aeropress. Had to contact customer service to deal with a small issue that arose and they were ultra responsive and resolved it immediately. Wish all companies were this good. Would 100% buy from them again.
Next level customer service!
Had a small issue with a relatively new coffee machine which i was a little disappointed about in the first place. Called the helpline and they talked me through my options for repair (I was keen to attempt repair myself as didnt want the hassle of posting a big machine and had a lot going on). They were absolutely fantastic, shipped parts out next day and I was back making coffee within no time. I've never received this level of tech support in my own line of work or anywhere else, work would be much easier with their help! Fantastic customer service.

Seriously Great Service
Seriously Great Service. Raj, Dave and Tony did several sessions to sort out a misunderstanding between me and a Gaggia Brera. They were friendly and patient - and would not rest until the problem (which was not their fault, or responsibility) was solved. The machine is now brewing fabulous coffee, many times per day.

The team are always willing to help and will do video calls to be able to see what the problem is and then provide useful information. Everyone I have been in contact with in the past has been friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

This is just how customer service should and used to be. Excellent response, knowledgeable, courteous and free assistance from the Gaggia UK team. Highly recommend. We are on our 3rd machine from them and the high levels of service have not diminished.

Great coffee machine. Small issue resolved promptly by a zoom with Raj and a new part was posted to us promptly by Katie.
Steam pouring out of side vents
With steam pouring out of the side vents, I thought my Gaggia Anima was for the tip. But after speaking to an engineer and Raj two solutions were offered up: manual descaling and fitting a new valve both which I did and the latter worked. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Purchased Magenta Prestige and had pump issue within a week.. Have purchased electrical items in the past and does happen within 1st month normally but all I can say is Gaggia replaced the machine the following day and replacement is absolutely perfect in every way.
