We travelled through Ecuador and the Galápagos with Galapagos Travel Center, including time in Quito, the Andes, Baños, and then a Galápagos cruise, and overall it was an incredible trip with a lot of unforgettable moments.

Diana was one of the biggest reasons the experience went as well as it did. She was responsive, patient, helpful, and genuinely made an effort to support us whenever plans changed or issues came up. On a trip with this many moving parts, having someone who stays involved and actually looks for solutions makes a huge difference, and Diana did that throughout.

Baños was easily our favourite part of mainland Ecuador. The scenery, activities, and overall atmosphere were amazing, and it was probably the biggest surprise of the trip in terms of how much we enjoyed it. If we went back to Ecuador, Baños would absolutely be somewhere we would want to spend more time.

One thing future travellers should know is that the altitude in Quito and parts of the Andes is no joke. It can really kick your ass, especially at the beginning of the trip, so it is definitely something worth being prepared for and giving yourself time to adjust to.

The Galápagos cruise was absolutely worth spending the money on and genuinely felt like a once in a lifetime experience. We sailed on the Horizon and cannot recommend it enough. Being able to wake up in a different part of the islands, spend the day snorkelling, hiking, seeing incredible wildlife, and exploring somewhere completely new made the experience feel incredibly special.

The wildlife and landscapes were even better than we expected, and the cruise allowed us to see so much more than we would have been able to experience staying in one place. If you are debating whether the cruise is worth the investment, for us it absolutely was. It was expensive, but it is one of those trips where afterwards you understand exactly what you paid for.

We did have some organizational issues along the way, including multiple guide changes due to unforseen medical issues with our guide and some communication that could have been smoother. At times, plans seemed to change without much notice, which created some unnecessary stress, especially considering the level of the trip we had booked.

To Galapagos Travel Center's credit, our concerns were acknowledged and partial compensation was offered. More importantly, Diana continued communicating with us and supporting us rather than disappearing once the trip was underway, which we really appreciated.

Overall, the trip was unforgettable. Baños was the standout on the mainland, the Horizon cruise was phenomenal, and the Galápagos absolutely lived up to the hype. There were a few bumps along the way, but the actual experiences were incredible and will stay with us for a very long time.

We typically plan all of our trips and this sortie to the Galapagos and Machu Picchu was no exception except this time we included an agency, in this case the Galapagos Travel Center so as to facilitate the many nuances associated with entering the Galapagos Islands. We linked with Gabriella Aquilar and, exception our round trip flight from the USA to Lima, she managed everything else... to a tee! Connecting flights, drives, tours, hotels... you name it, every leg was managed expertly and we appreciated her services immensely. Highly recommend.

The quality of service and hospitality provided by the guides and staff was excellent.

However, to be honest, I was disappointed with the underwater activities and the overall diving experience. I completely understand that we are dealing with nature and that wildlife encounters and ocean conditions can never be guaranteed. However, if there was already information suggesting that conditions could be significantly affected by El Niño, I feel that there was no need to proceed with the trip as originally planned.

In fact, the number of scheduled dives at Wolf and Darwin was reduced during the trip. Given that, I personally feel it would have been better not to operate the trip in the first place under those conditions, rather than offering an itinerary that could not ultimately be carried out as planned.

We had a wonderful experience booking our vacation with Galapagos Travel Center. We booked a three island land-based tour with inter-island flights. Our advisor, Lorena, was an enormous help with answering our questions and adjusting the schedule and travel details to suit our ideas and needs. Our vacation progressed seamlessly. The tour guides that we were given were excellent; every single one of them was friendly, very knowledgeable, punctual and were rightly proud of their country. From the moment we landed in San Cristobal to when we left Baltra, we did not have to think about a single part of our itinerary, everything was taken care of. The hotels that we stayed at were fantastic with clean, generous sized rooms, nice breakfasts and great staff. We had a truly once-in-a-lifetime trip to these amazing islands. Our trip was excellent. We were treated very well by everyone. The accommodations were very good everywhere. The food was great. I think everything exceeded my expectations. We had a very great tour guide in the Napo Wildlife Center.

Recently just came back from the Galaxy Orion cruise booked through Galapagos Travel Center with Cristina Pineda as my rep! I highly recommend booking your tours through this agency. I had so many questions that came up before the trip and during and Cristina helped me every time, with adjusting things that I needed help with etc. She is so kind and she was even replying to me after hours just to help me change flights that I asked to change last minute due to a change in my own plans. Thank you so much!!

From the moment your driver met us as the airport on the first day to our last drop-off, we always had someone available, which was warranted as Ecuador was completely new to us.

Diana was so helpfull all the way through the booking process, answering all our questions and supporting us. When we arrived at Quito airport everything was ready and waiting for us and from there everything ran like clockwork.

We had an exceptional experience with the Galapagos Travel Center. With the assistance of Gabriela and Sofia, we booked a trip to the Galapagos for 5 days on the Ayla as well as 7 days of vacation in Quito, including 5 difference tours. Throughout our vacation, the experience was fantastic! This included absolutely fabulous tours with our guide (Fabricio Castello), exceptional hotel accommodations, airport and hotel transfers, and assistance with last minute changes to our travel schedule. Our experience on the Ayla - including accommodations, food, and attentiveness by the ship's crew was top-notch. Our tour guide/biologist -Alexis - was also fantastic!

This was a huge expense and reading trust pilot reviews originally is what gave me the confidence to proceed. The trip was amazing and everything happened as detailed. When I was on the cruise I met others who had not used this agency and they had not recieved anywhere near as much information and helpful details on what to pack. I highly recommend them.

First day in Baltra before Yaht is not comfortable. Not meal in plane no meal when we arrived in Baltra.

Everything went well and it was just as we wanted it to be.

Katie’s selection of places to stay and things to do in and about Quito was excellent, accommodations were great, and sequencing was perfect. Our guide Fabrizio was amazing, and the fact that he was with us for all of our rides in and about Quito made it extra special. Everything was handled so smoothly - we felt well taken care of throughout our trip. The communication was also very good, especially the booklet of info that was sent right before we left. I was able to refer to that document whenever I had a question, and it had all the answers.
