Absolutely love the packaging and the lights are so insta worthy? Posted it once and everyone's asking for it... i think its more worth it to purchase more than 2 bc they offer more discounts! Will definitely buy again to gift!

Very average and poor battery.

Very average and poor battery life for price. The lights are quite bright and cannot be dimmed. Overall all am very disappointed with how much I spent for the model features and the angles the projector can span. Would recommend you do your research and look elsewhere.

Buy elsewhere with a better product and return policy

The "musicsense" feature of their overpriced projectors is complete garbage. The music has to be so loud to get it to work that it's uncomfortable for what should be a relaxing experience. The buttons are annoyingly sensitive and the actual light spread isn't great. To top it off with their less than helpful customer service and even worse return policy it's no wonder they charge so much they know they won't be in business long with such a terrible business model.

Sweeeeeet lights

The courier kinda messed up my packaging and the box was crushed. I contacted the support team from galaxycove, sent them the pics and they immediately sent me another projector!!!! It reached me within a week... I love the service the lights!!!! Might purchase another real soon 😍😍

No refunds! Not worth $80

Did not know there are no refunds except if damaged. I bought for someone that didn't want and now out of $80. Does not come with instruction manual and generic boxing. I was gonna purchase one for myself but now I'll just buy a knockoff for half the price from somewhere you can return. I've posted a few reviews and will continue to do so to help people save money. Not worth $80

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

HORRIBLE. Did not receive my order, and they will not do anything to help you locate it. TOTAL SCAM, refuse to refund or help in any way. They just say "sorry, its not our problem after it's shipped!!"

Item took 6 weeks and still hasn't…

Item took 6 weeks and still hasn't delivered when i paid for 7-10 day delivery. No response from customer service. Terrible courier. Multiple attempts at contacting customer service and got NO reply. Do not buy!

Definitely agree that this is a scam company. The projector is very cheap and the music sense doesn't work at all. Something was broken and rattling inside when mine arrived so I actually took it apart. I managed to fix the broken piece back on but it was very poorly made. The website is clearly a scam so dont fall for the pictures of the "lighting designers". They are fake. I just wish I hadn't fallen for it

Stay away!!!

I also fell for the social media ads and the fake reviews and now can't seem to get my money back.

I received the projector and the stars didn't work at first. They worked after a few minutes but started acting up right away. They would turn off and on constantly for about the 20 mins (not blink, completely go off and on randomly). The next day they didn't work at all.

I contacted them for a replacement at first and they made it very difficult, asking for several "clearer" videos in order to provide me with a return address/replacement instructions.

After a couple days of not hearing back even though I sent them videos, I made a comment on their instagram about this to someone asking about the quality and my comments were removed by GALAXYCOVE. Now I understood why their product seemed so good!

I then found this page and realized I had been scammed like others. Since it seems they have a 7-day return policy (cause they know it's crap), I immediately emailed them with a refund request (as per instructions on the site), along with the videos again so that they don't put up more excuses. They said they would 'escalate' my claim and update me on the status of my refund and that I'd be charged a 5% restocking fee.

After a WEEK, they replied saying that they've sent me a replacement, when I clearly asked for a refund (it's even the title of my email!) and have been asking for a return address for more than a week. To this day I still don't have an address and don't want their crap product. I'm filing a claim with my credit card.

Also, after unfollowing them, I got served instagram ads for 'GALAXY CAVE' (with an A instead of an O), same projector, price and logo!!!! This is obviously a scam operation that just keeps changing names like others have mentioned.

STAY AWAY!

This “business” is a SCAM!

This “business” is a scam! They’ll send you a cheap looking unbranded projector that was made from China. Don’t be fooled by marketing!

Unbranded, disappointing

Disclaimer: please take note that my review has a verified tick, which means that Trustpilot verified that I had made a valid purchase. Furthermore, I bought it from the galaxycove.com website (the same one on this company profile).

Like many, I was lured in by the fancy marketing GALAXYCOVE employs, primarily on Facebook and Instagram. Every comment you read, their website reviews (which are fake) all sing the praises of the GALAXYCOVE projector, but it's not worth the money you pay.

After shipping and conversion, the projector itself cost me a little over $100 AUD. Given the videos and photos made this look like a good product, I paid. I almost bought two, but didn't and I am glad that I didn't.

The one thing that doesn't help is there really is nothing negative or truthful about this company online. Barely anyone has reviewed the projector, I wrote a review on my blog to help others not make the same mistake I did.

Despite the website showing a branded product in their product imagery, you'll get an unbranded cheap-looking projector that doesn't work as well as advertised. The box and packaging are all unbranded, no mention of GALAXYCOVE anywhere on the box, inside of the box nor the booklet that comes with it. Furthermore, the website they have is also semi-fake. Their about us page uses stock photos, pretending to have a team of people working and designing the product, a reverse image search proves these images are stock photos they have edited.

It's quite clear this is an operation run by one or two people, dropshipping cheap items out of China and marking them up extravagantly as products they themselves designed and produced. If they were honest about what they were doing, it would be okay. But, they're pretending to be a real company designing and making their own products, when they are not.

While I did get my projector and it worked somewhat (the music sense mode not so much), just not as good as the marketing showed it working. Limited colour choices, limited range and cheap-looking appearance. No Australia adapter, so I had to use a spare phone charger to charge it up through the USB lead. Just avoid this company.

Pay close attention to the 5-star overly positive reviews here, they come in weird batches where there will be 2 or 3 positive reviews posted at a time, by accounts which have never posted a review before. All written using the same exclamation marked sentences.

If you still want a star projector, there are more reputable companies producing better quality products, just do a search and you'll find them.

Update: Galaxycove attempted to have this review removed (as they did every other negative review). I provided TrustPilot with proof I made a valid purchase and my review was reinstated (as can be seen with the verified tick above this review). The response below by Galaxycove is perplexing, as I provided order information (name as well as email address). It seems this is their generic response to try and discredit reviews that TrustPilot have already vetted.

Scam. Do not buy!

The product you will receive is completely unbranded. I bought three of these - one doesn't work and the others probably won't for long either. The website looks legitimate, but I'm sorry I didn't dig deeper before spending the money on these absolute rubbish product. Do not buy!

Buyer beware

Buyer beware, they have a very strict refund policy and will reserve the right to deny you a refund for any reason, including my package being lost in the world of mail for the past two months. I haven’t received my item but that doesn’t seem to matter to the support team, they showed negligible amounts of effort in helping me to find my order or figure out what the issue was with delivery. I’m sure the product is amazing, I wouldn’t know, would not recommend this company based on the customer support team.

To GalaxyCove: I can’t contact you on social media because I was blocked after leaving this identical above review. You already have my contact information from my interactions with several members of your team including your finance manager. I’m not spending any more time on this, thanks.
