It was a really enjoyable experience getting fitted for a suit. Every detail was catered for. Quality, service and value are all there. Ash really went out of his way to get me a suit I would cherish for a long time. Highly recommend.

I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my first bespoke tailored suit.

From the initial consultation to the final fitting, Ash guided me through the process, offering choices on fabrics, linings, buttons, and finishing touches. This resulted in a genuinely bespoke, luxurious tailored suit that is a joy to wear.

My fiance (who could never be described as a fashionista) was apprehensive about having his first ever hand made suit, but with a couple of events on the horizon I persuaded him to try. Ash put him at ease and took the time to find out what type of ‘look’ would be comfortable for Neil. The ‘yarns’’ and their sources were explained and we went onto look at linings, stitch/detail and jazzy buttons; Neil really got into it and made some lively choices. The finished product was hand delivered and fits like a glove; it oozes quality. Overall we are impressed with the service and product, and would highly recommend! Thanks Ash, I’m confident we’ll be back for another before long.

I recently returned to Ash and ordered some new outfits for my winter wardrobe and I couldn't wait to receive them.
As normal, they arrived in super quick time and they were simply beautiful. My amended fit was spot on and my chosen fabrics and details made them even more special.

My husband and I came across Ash on Instagram. After exchanging a few messages we visited Ash at his atelier in Nottingham. We were after a smart suit which he could then rewear for another function or on holiday. Designing the outfit was great fun and Ash gave his unique input. What a great experience, the whole process was perfect.
The options available are incredibly extensive, and proved difficult to make decisions on fabrics, linings, stitching, buttons etc.
Ash helped on all fronts, his knowledge and experience was invaluable and the end product is fantastic, individual and superb quality.
The whole process was enjoyable, Ash is a true gentleman and the coffee is great too.
Now also have two pairs of shoes too, same process, individual design and great comfort and quality.

For my birthday this year I received an amazing present from my girlfriend… A ‘made to measure’ suit experience gift card, from Gangotra 1916. I was really excited and couldnt wait to get my suit made. When we travelled back to the UK, I went to see Ash to get my suit measured up. It was a brilliant experience. He designed a suit for me over some drinks in his showroom, whilst we went through all the fabrics and details. My suit design was ordered and on it's way to get made! A few weeks later my suit was ready. Ash had it specially couriered over to me in Belgium and I couldn’t wait to open it. The suit is absolutely stunning and fits me perfectly. Wearing this suit makes me feel great, and I love putting it on whenever I get the opportunity. I can 100% recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you, Ash!

I now have the best fitting and smartest suit I have ever owned. The team at Gangotra were superb and listened to my requirements during a personalised session in the studio. The outcome is the best suit I have ever owned - and that’s saying something - I’ve had some pretty incredible suits from around the world and some very nicely tailored ones too. Their service on accessories and shoes is also top notch.

From the first initial phone call to the handover of the finished suit, Ash's attention to detail to all my requests have been second to none.
The studio is very inviting, for those who have never been a measured for a suit, the ambience will put you at ease. Nice coffee too!
