Gappsy is using the pandemic to make money...

Do not pursue an app with Gappsy if you are an individual. Their advertising promotions are very misleading. The app will cost far more than they advertise once the publishing "options" are added in, and they will need access to your Apple Developer account. This is a security risk to any Apple product user who has an Individual account. Unless you have a Company account with Apple Developer (which requires legal documentation), as an Individual you are unable to issue permitted access for third-party developers. I have correspondence from both Gappsy and the Apple Development team. Feel free to contact me. I am still within the "14-day free trial period" with Gappsy, and they are saying they cannot refund my purchase because it is not "feasible" for them. They are not qualified to publish apps on their end, and I was not willing to risk my Apple security after discussion with the Apple Development team directly.
A legitimate company would understand the cost of doing business, especially when they are dealing with customers who have never developed an app before. They utilized cheap advertising during a pandemic to pursue marketing that would attract them business, with no intention of refunding anything to anybody.

Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied. We are never dishonest about pricing. We clearly state our total pricing on our website. For people that are interested in it, there are optional extra packages, such as the done for you packages. With these packages, we do the app creation and publishing for you. On our website, and checkout pages, we clearly state that if we would publish your app for you, we would need your apple and android developer accounts to do so. These appstores have their own set of rules. They do not allow anyone to publish any apps, if they are not the owner of the app. So you need to have your own developer accounts. Which is stated in our FAQ and on our checkout pages.

Android allows anyone to invite a 3rd party to use their developer account without needing the login. Apple does not allow this, unless you have a business developer account. So with Apple we simply need access to your Apple Developer account. There is no way around that. We would love to debate Apple on this matter, but unfortunately they probably won't listen to us.

Our Team of developers has published hundreds of apps. We know how to deal with Apple and Android Publishing. But as stated, we do not decide their rules.

Once again, you do not have to pay us any more money then the fee stated on our website. You could also publish the app on your own, we do have a step by step guide for that on our website.

Regarding refunds. We do have a 14 day money back guarantee that we stand behind. Everyone that asks for a refund for our normal packages, within 14 days, gets it. No questions asked.

We do not offer refunds for done-for-you packages, because otherwise people would let us do the work, of creating or publishing their app and then claim a refund. That would be quite unfair.

We are here to help you. Our team was actively emailing with you, as you know. And the team explained the apple rules to you. Unfortunately we can not change Apples rules. We would love to, just like you. But it's simply not possible. Every developer needs to abide by their rules.

I highly recommend to not buy Gappsy!

I was targeted by Gappsy apps on Instagram and thought i can give it a try as it looked very polished on their website. Thats a lie... after i bought it i fastly got to known that this isnt a service i wanted to use. So i contacted them and told them that I want to get my money back as they are having a 14 days refund guarantee. Until now I didn't received my money back and they are playing the dead man... Furthermore, my account seems to be deactivated and I'm not able to login anymore. I'm really disappointed.

Not sure what happen but it was coming…

Down for 18.5 minutes? So the apps were all down too? We can not have our apps not working for that long.......and I just went to your sight to finish my radio app and its still down.....looks like I'll be getting a refund. You are starting to sound dishonest. So how do you tell your clients let alone mine we were down for 18 minutes? That's bad business and a bunch of nonsense.

We did an update to the Gappsy Builder and that is why we were "offline" for 18.5 minutes. That never happens. Normally the updates happen without the system going offline. Anyway, we are live again. Messing about with refund

Asked for a refund as couldn't use the app as had too much on, they said they initiated it and wait 10 days, waited 13 days and nothing, they said it hadnt gone through so will initiate now, please wait a further 7-10 day.
If this is how the company opperates ...my recommendation is to avoid them. Cant speak for the app but the customer service is very poor

Absolutely terrible. Bunch of scammers

Absolutely terrible! They run promotions, take your money and gone. No one from their accounts team respond nor anyone from customer support. I was told my refund will take 3-5 business days to be processed. It’s been 15 business days and I still haven’t heard anything.
They charged me twice for a promotion more than $300 overcharged.

I wanted to use these to build my business app....... USE ANYONE ELSE!!!

I wanted to use these to build my business app. Everytime I messaged I would wait between 12-24hrs for a reply, then they wouldn't give you the answer to the questions. After 3 days I don't have my very simple questions answered. If they're like this now I am sure the after service would be terrible! If I could give a zero I would!!

Are these people scammers? I’m wondering if I was scammed

1. I purchased 2 products ($87/$57)
2. I followed instructions (watch video and claim your purchase)
3. It says subscription required (it’s blank system)
4. Doesn’t have a package to claim
5. It’s been passed 24 hours and no help or explanation to why I was sold a blank system that has no use

Update: They were able to resolve issue after 24 hours and ever since I been creating the app. I have been satisfied since initial review

Did your redeem your app by logging into your account, and then clicking on create application --> filling in the information --> clicking save --> scrolling down to chose Premium Plan and then clicking validate. That will enable your package. You won't have to pay anything again then. We explain this on the confirmation page aswell. Abysmal customer support

Gappsy is currently offering a lifetime deal via ads on Facebook right now. They are not responding to support requests in a timely manner, nor are they honoring their 14-day refund guarantee, no questions asked. On May 8th, they made a fanfare about communication being key. Seemingly, they don't live by their values. They were not prepared, and now I am dissatisfied with no desire to consider them again when they grow. The limitations of this no-code platform are real.

Misleading sales pitch

A but misleading sales pitch. Do your research first. There are a lot more cost involved with actually getting a published functioning app. I backed out of the cart but my card was still charged. Took a few days but they did refund my money. I changed my rating since they did that but I think in order to trust a company they need to have very straightforward up front pricing.

Sorry to hear this. It's actually not true that we have hidden fees to make the product workable. We have optional extra packages which are called done-for-you services. You can build your own Mobile app by simply creating it yourself with the Gappsy Builder, or you can pay us an extra fee, to do it for you. That is totally optional, and not necessary for you to pay if you wish to do it yourself. In no way, do you need to pay for the done-for-you service, to get your app live.

They Don't Want Business

I have never known a company to have such horrific customer service. They not only took far longer than what I was told it would take, they required additional fees, then actually BLAMED me for their mistakes. There was no kindness, no apologies for any of their inconveniences...nothing. I honestly don't think they actually want business, so don't bother. I wish I could add a screenshot of the awful things that were said to me. Looks like in the reply they're still unapologetic and blaming me for their terrible service.

Very unfortunate to see that you are not satisfied with our services. There are no hidden fees that are not stated on the website. The only additional fees that are necessary for every that wants their app in the app stores is the $99 a year to Apple for their Developer account and the $25 one time fee to Android for their developer account.

This is clearly stated in our FAQ and on our checkout pages. You do not pay these fees to us, but to Apple and Android. Every app owner, needs to have their own developer accounts. These are not our rules, but the rules of Apple and Android. Unfortunately we are not in a position to negotiate with apple or android regarding this. EVERY single app in the app stores need to abide by their rules and pay these developer fees.

On top of that, you unfortunately provided us with the wrong email, for your login so we could not help you right away. After talking about this, you were not really interested in getting any help anymore. And you requested a refund. Which you we initiated within 5 minutes. We continue to help customers with our app builder and we continue to assist people into creating, launching and growing their app.

We have never said bad things to you. We just told you, that we could not see your order correctly since you used 2 different emails.

EASY APP BUILDER without any coding !

Gappsy's app builder is very easy to use. Everything is pure logic and explained in layman's terms. I'm looking forward to building mobile apps again and renewing my Apple D.Licence. Hats off to the guys behind the scene here .... you've nailed this one perfectly.

Let down by poor customer service

Bought the software with a premium upgrade, but some of the options told me that they require a "premium subscription" when I tried to use them. as I thought I had this I contacted customer service on Messenger.

On 30th June at 10.52am I was asked to confirm my email and heard nothing.

At 7.22am on 2nd July I got the message "Kris. Sorry for the delay. Your chat got lost somehow. Will get back to you within 8 hours regarding this.” After this I heard nothing.

I sent another message at 13.36pm on 4th July and was told they were sorry and that the calendar integration was not included and would cost "About $4 a month"

I wouldn't have had a problem paying this, though I would think it could have been clearer from the outset that not everything was included.

Due to the poor customer service I decided to request a refund.

The software looks like it could have been good, but was let down by the poor service.

Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied. Not some of the options. Just 1 of them required an upgrade if you wanted to use it. It was regarding a calendar integration. No where on our website is it mentioned that we even have a calendar integration. We mention that we have an appointment planner, but we do not mention that we have google calendar integration.

For people that want to use it, we need to bill them an extra $4 a month.

Sorry that we responded a bit later. We offered you to refund your money right away when we noticed that you were unhappy and indeed you took the refund. We initiated the refund the same minute.
