After my previous review Gas-Elec were in contact straight away to rectify the situation. They could not have been more helpful and understanding and sent another engineer out immediately. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing, and the outcomes. This has restored my faith in that there are decent companies around, and that some of them read the reviews and act upon them.

We have recently moved into a rental property and the Estate Agent scheduled a Boiler Service.
Chap turned up a little early, which was fine, was very knowledgeable and friendly, over-shoes on, all clean and tidy.

Marcus was absolutely lovely, gas inspection was really quick & simple.

Initially skeptical of working with this company because of the two or three most recent reviews on here, but I bit the bullet and went with them anyway because the company's website made it absolutely clear what they offered.

I had a Homebuyers Report and a EICR done and both of my engineers (Don and Michael) were absolutely brilliant. Friendly, polite, answered any questions I had and weren't rushing to finish the job early.

I also had a good experience with the customer service team throughout the booking process. They are easily contactable and will try their best to assist with any problems that arise, in a fair and sensible manner.

The gas engineer carried out a boiler service within my property, when he identified a problem he explained what it was and went to great lengths to order the part and remedy the situation within a couple of days. He turned what could have been a sressful time with my tenant into a minor inconvenience and I would certainly recomend gas-elec.

Gary McGowan called today to carry the gas safety check. He comes every year always polite and informed us when he is coming. Definitely recommend.

Gary (Senior Engineer) attended my flat today to fix an issue with my boiler. Gary has atteded the flat on many occasions to carry out gas saftey inspectations and maintence jobs over the past few years. As always, he was polite, efficient, timely and kept me informed throughout. Couldn't recommend him enough as an engineer and the company he works for. Excellent customer service!

Gary Mcgowan called today to carry out a gas check on my property. He called me before arrival and was spot on time. He was very polite and very knowledgeable about his job providing me with some good energy saving tips. A credit to the company.

These guys did an electric boiler install for me and left the small flat looking like a hospital room with cabling boxing visible and stuck onto walls, a giant red klaxon alarm and a big red off on button in the hall. It turned out that they didn’t even hook the hot water upto the boiler, just the heating, selling me my existing aged immersion setup as if it was something new. The whole thing didn’t make sense and I complained but they didn’t want to know and got me to pay for amendments. I used their complaints process and of course this has led to radio silence.

The Engineer came was Marcus. He is exceptional. Very friendly. Know what he is doing. Great service 👏

Absolutely shocking actions from the driver of van ref: WP19 CTU on green dragon lane!! Using a phone nearly swerving into us and then has the cheek to start swearing and giving us the finger!!! RUDE!!!! Send your driver back to school and anger management clases!!!

Gave me an appointment quickly. Engineer, Marcus Turner was fast and efficient, and very friendly and interesting and interested in me.

Shambles of a company .cancelled twice without any warning ,oredered parts them blamed parts for not fitting boiler..said they would ring and update me on when repair will be completed and still waiting for call ..I’d advise you you ring a
Local trustee company and stay away..

I called the number on my statement to pay my bill and the costs involved calling were over £5 form my mobile phone. The number on the bill was 08448805836 Beware of charges.

He was very efficient, courteous, helpful and a good worker. Would recommend. Review on behalf of my grandma.

Phil was extremely responsive to our initial desperation for quotation / installation of a new boiler system to allow completion on a property sale, and Sandra likewise in following through with an EICR appointment post -sale on behalf of the new owners. They and their team's customer service when I was super stressed was hugely appreciated!!
