Horrendous Expierence

Extremely disappointing customer service. It’s shocking how a brand can operate with such blatant disregard for basic customer service. Placed the order (#2676) on June 11. Received a wierd link with no tracking number and have been following up since the past week. No response at all. This was intended as a gift but unfortunately I will miss the deadline.

BUYER BEWARE

I placed my order (#2284) on May 14th, I got an automatic notice 10 days later that the item had shipped. However, no shipping details whatsoever. I've been writing to the customer service every few days since then, not one reply. We're coming on A MONTH since ordering.

I'm now going to file a fraud claim with my bank, how is this not a scam?

Pleasantly surprised – great glasses and service

The shipping was really fast, and when I realized I had made a mistake with the order details, customer service handled it perfectly—quick and super helpful. The glasses are honestly impressive: great quality, very comfortable, and the price is more than fair. I wasn’t expecting them to be this good. Definitely a brand I’ll stick with in the future.

Updated: Refunded after two weeks of silence

Ordered two pairs of sunglasses (Order #2107) on April 29. No tracking. No updates. Emailed twice. Nothing.

When I said I’d file a PayPal dispute, they refunded me—still no reply.

The glasses might be good. That’s the frustrating part.
But the people running this don’t know how to run a business or handle customers.

I own over 15 pairs of sunglasses across brands.
Never dealt with this level of incompetence.

I’m fine spending more for quality—as long as someone replies to a damn email.

Dreadful customer service!!

Dreadful customer service!!! I have been waiting on my order from almost 2 weeks now. They keep sending me the same email Stating that my order is on the way. Very rude customer service.
When i told them that i have been tracking my order and there is no progress. I was told to “CHECK BETTER” by customer service. No etiquettes at all.

EDITED: good product, terrible customer service

EDITED: this review was initially 1* because of a shipping issue with my order. While I think the sunglasses themselves are pretty solid, the customer service absolutely sucks. I was only able to get a new pair shipped by posting a poor review on trustpilot and customer service only seemed to care when it affected their reputation. Product & packaging is pretty good, everything else is subpar.

Non existent customer service

Do not respond at all, I am trying to return but they make you submit a return request for them to them contact you with return information, but they don’t respond. No response from emails. Unless you are certain these are the right glasses for you, avoid at all costs.

Dreadful customer service

This review is the only way that I am able to contact them as all other correspondence has not been responded to.

The level of customer service I have received is dreadful. Firstly, I emailed them on 5th March 25 for product information. No response. No big deal ok. I went ahead and ordered the Bagaj frames on the 9th March 25 and received them on the 18th March 25. They were too big so I requested a refund on 18th March 25. Gast have a system where you request the return online and then they should send you the information for the return.

'We confirm that we received your request and we are evaluating it.

We will contact you with the instruction to follow as soon as the process is completed.'

A week went by since I requested the return so I sent a follow up email on the 26th March 25 asking for instructions. No response. I also sent them a private message on Instagram on the same date. No response. They have no phone number listed.

I've yet to receive any instruction and still need to ship the item to Italy and wait for them to process my refund. I have no faith that it will be dealt with swiftly. It seems that Gast have not put any thought into customer service of aftercare.

Gast team, my order # is 1625 can you please deal with it urgently.

I ordered a pair of GAST Sirio optical glasses from GAST.
They arrived on time and in perfect condition.
This is the first pair of my life whitch I am totaly love with and I am wearing opticals since 1984.
Big bold chunky perfectly polished beuty.
The quality the shape and the material is spot on.
Regarding the measurementes and by blind without try is quiet simple for those who has existing frame. Use your existing frame's measurements and a littlebit magination and it works.
I got what I hoped for❣️

Extremely Disappointed with Refund Process and Lack of Communication at Gast

I am extremely disappointed with Gast regarding the refund process for the glasses I returned. I initially purchased four glasses to try different designs and decided to return three of them. I received the return label on November 15th, and the returned items were delivered back to Gast by November 21st.
Their FAQ states that refunds will be processed within five working days after receiving the returned items. However, it has been significantly longer than that, and despite my numerous attempts to reach out, I have not received any response.
This lack of communication and delay in processing my refund is completely unacceptable. I trusted Gast to handle this transaction professionally, and I am now left waiting for the refund without any acknowledgment of my inquiries.
I hope this review prompts Gast to address this issue swiftly and restore my trust in their services.

Unresponsive Customer Service

I wanted to order a pair of glasses to Canada and had a few questions before making my purchase. I asked about the return policy for orders from Canada and requested more information about the glasses since there was only one picture on the website. Unfortunately, I never received a response.

Best Bang for Buck Sunglasses!

I bought a pair of Gast sunglasses based on the glowing reviews I heard on you tube. Now that I have recieved them and tried them on I can confidently say these must be amongst the best bang for buck glasses out there. They positively shout quality, from the acetate frames to the top notch hinges and the anti reflective lenses. I couldn't be more pleased. I live in Canada, so I was also very impressed that they honoured the free shipping on your first order inspite of where I was in the world. Very generous that! Unfortunately my first pair 'got lost' in transit by UPS. I emailed Gast support and they sent another pair, no quibbles made. I had paid the import taxes and fees on the first pair that never arrived and so Gast paid the fees on the second pair. Top notch customer service that! Highly highly recommended. I will definitely be buying from Gast again and recommending them to all my friends

Good quality glasses but frustrating customer service

I’ve been pleased with the quality of glasses from Gast, but unfortunately, my experience with the return process has been frustrating. I initiated a return [insert time 10 days ago and haven’t received any updates or communication since. While I understand delays can happen, clearer and more timely communication would make a big difference.
