I discovered Gentle Roots completely by chance on Instagram and I’m so grateful I did. As someone who works in the fashion and film industry, skincare has always been an essential part of my life, so I’ve tried countless products over the years, from cult favourites to very high end brands. But since becoming a mom, I’ve become much more mindful about what I use, always searching for products that are both effective and genuinely clean.
I took my time before writing this review because I wanted to truly experience the product and after using the Face Elixir for over six weeks now, I can honestly say it’s exceptional.
The texture is silky and luxurious without feeling heavy or greasy which is a must have for me. It melts beautifully into the skin and leaves it feeling deeply nourished, as if your skin is literally drinking it in. It’s 100% organic and clean, which is an absolute win in my book.
My complexion now has a natural glow, feels balanced and looks radiant in a way that even some of the most expensive products I’ve tried haven’t achieved. I’m genuinely impressed! Huge kudos to the founders for creating something so pure, effective and beautifully made - I’m officially a big fan!

I bought the Mother and Baby gift set for my daughter-in-law, who is expecting her first baby in November. She loves natural organic products, and it was a blessing when I came across Gentle Roots at the Leicester Wellness Festival in September. The products arrived very quickly, on the day of her baby shower. She has not used the products yet, but I am sure she will love them. I have recommended Gentle Roots to my daughter, as her oldest daughter has eczema, and she will be ordering the face and body balm to try. I will also try the Hair Oil.

My package arrived really quick and product was nicely packed.
Love fact that the products are homemade, natural and without nasty ingredients.

I love the tincture bottle itself comes in that alone makes it feel luxurious. The design is simple which is fine because its all about the product saying that the amount of plants, herbs is great. I love the fact that its organic and vegan. The oil itself for me is the right consistency not too light nor too heavy a little goes a long way. Im genuinely surprised how well my skin has taken to the oil. The smell of the oil is not offensive. I love that you can see the best before date, making me feel this product is actually natural so it needs to be used within a time frame unlike other brands claiming that there products a vegan or organic

From first communication to receiving the package, the team was very professional and patient. The product is amazing and effective in giving you a gentle glow and hydrating. It absorbs fast and leaves your skin feeling supple and soft.

I think handmade products have something special, and that's also true with Gentle Roots. I loved the care in the little details of the packaging to make sure everything arrives safe and sound, and the products perform well with unique scents and very kind formulas. I tried the Radiance All-over body oil; it glides like an oil, as I expected, but gets absorbed so quickly that I couldn't feel any slippery sensation... just smooth skin in seconds with an energising fragrance.
The Nourishing Oil in Berry Blush is a surprise. To me, it looks like a lip gloss-lip oil hybrid and has a lovely scent of strawberry and cocoa butter (I could feel it), plus a nice red hue and loads of sparkle. My lips stay hydrated for hours (also overnight!).
I'm genuinely impressed!

The Fresh Mint Nourish Lip Oil is sooooo good and I’m honestly very impressed. The peppermint is subtle but refreshing — perfect for summer — and it leaves my lips feeling soft, calm, and hydrated without any stickiness.

I also have sensitive lips, and this is one of the few products that actually soothes instead of irritating them. The formula is all-natural, the packaging feels really considered, and the whole experience felt personal and thoughtful.

You can tell this is a small brand putting love and intention into what they do — and it shows. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

This minty fresh lip oil is a treat to apply to lips! It left my lips nourished and soft with a gorgeous glossy finish. I love the cooling effect too, perfect for hot summer days. It also looks pretty in my makeup bag and has quickly become an essential for me 🩷

I have been using the berry blush lipgloss for a while now and I love that first its ingredients are entirely natural so my skin can also receive lip care as well tend to forget about it. It is not sticky or overly dripping it’s just the right consistency and it looked absolutely fabulous on me as a dark skin.

Lovely natural products. I originally bought the tallow baby balm and was also sent some free samples to try (the lavender balm & radiance oil).

Lavender balm - has just the right amount of essential oil to be soothing. (I find most other lotion fragrances are way too overpowering)
Baby balm, fragrance free - great consistency, works well to calm and moisturise my little one's and my own skin.
Have yet to try the radiance oil but looks amazing.

Customer service is excellent, they are very responsive to any query and generous. I would recommend to anyone looking for natural skincare products.

I first came across them at a local market and have made three more purchases since then, customer service is top tier, the owner is very responsive and once I mistakenly put in the wrong address and my package was returned to sender but they were so nice about sending it out with no extra charge. I love the products especially more recently the root care hair oil, I can notice a difference in my hair health already.

Love the products that Gentle Roots offers. They’re all made with 100% natural ingredients, which is amazing, especially for someone with sensitive skin like myself. Everything arrived quickly and was packaged really well and looks beautiful. I can’t wait to use my detox mask 🥰
