On the 03/04/2018 I made a withdrawal request and received an email 30/04/2018 stating
‘The withdrawal amount from your GetStock account has been forwarded to your bank account.Depending on your bank, it may take a few further days to show in your account.’
10/05/2018 the money still hadn’t been received which is when I called gets stocks customer service and Harry Stringer answered and told me it was ‘on the way’ and that he ‘had checked’ and that it can take up to 8 working days but then emailed me saying ‘Please allow 5-8 days for the funds to show in your bank account.
If you still cant locate the funds after 10 days, we can request an ARN tracking ID to present to your bank.’ I waited 10 working days and then contacted Harry again where he told me the payment had bounced and it will take 3 to 5 working days for me to receive it AGAIN which is funny as you can see the time frame changed 3 times but I still don’t have my money.

Similar issues as the other reviews,

My requests have been 'processed' (on 29/04/2018) and most of my money has appeared in my bank account (01/05/2018).

However, I am still waiting on around a third of my funds to appear in my bank account; but I am with TSB and unsure if this is an issue with Getstocks or them.

Update: I have now received all money after contacting their customer services.

Finally got all the funds back in to my account
Raised request on 15th April and funds processed on 01 May Money in the account 4th May.
This gives a typical time line for those who are waiting.

Got an email update from get stocks that my money is processed and should be in my bank with in 5-8 working days.Got automated email from get stock app stating the same.

Keep you posted on that after 5-8 working days.
My withdrawal request submitted on 15th April

Still waiting for the withdrawal money. Getstocks published as 2 weeks process time due to high volume of withdrawals, After raising withdrawal requested contacted after 2 weeks due to no sign of money. Manage to speak to somebody in Cyprus office and they apologised and promised to sort in 3 working days. 1 week past now no sign of money. Tried ringing again and no answer as it is going to voicemail direct. Dropped an email questioning the same.
I will keep posting update if I get any..

PS also contacted Cyprus financial ombudsman and requested to consider looking in to the matter.

So after investing my money the deposit is taken instantly, commission fees are instant, conversion fees are instant and after receiving dividends from the US 30% tax was instant to punish UK traders.

HOWEVER
with delays on stock trades and app stopping me from logging due to app issues I then received a message from some guy at GetStocks in Israel that all of a sudden GetStocks is closing trades for good in mid April.

I checked their site and the message was real. Israel!!!!

I hurriedly sell my stocks and put in a request to withdraw all of my money. This was the 4th of April.

Their site says it should take up to 8 business days.

I emailed multiple times and each time it took days for them to even respond. Telling me to wait up to 2 weeks.
I am then told wait 8 business days as per their website.

They closed trades mid April and now sent me a response saying to send an email with WITHDRAWAL REQUEST in the title and bank info for my UK bank.

Today is the 25th of April and not a sign whatsoever of my money. I have been more than patient.

I have a sinking feeling this was a SCAM.

Terrible platform. It malfunctions on a near-daily basis; whether it be hanging whilst trying to buy or sell so opportunities are missed, price feeds not updating so you end up trading at a totally different one to the one you think you're getting, share prices reverting to historic levels when trading closes (giving a totally inaccurate picture of what your portfolio is worth) and the system being taken down outside of trading hours...the list goes on...

Deposits are instantaneous, withdrawals can take up to a week. Of course once you have positions placed, you're kinda stuck because transferring them outside of Getstocks takes forever, so you'd literally have to close them down, wait a week to get your money back, and then buy them via another platform. During which time you could have lost out on profit or dividend entitlements.

Consequently you end up persevering with the app and getting increasingly frustrated and disadvantaged. Simply awful.

worst fills ever, i got filled 8 shares on a stock that i was shorting and wanted 1000 shares. they took thier fees and wont let me update the order for the share order waiting. the system goes down when us market opens for about 15 min and you miss your entry.

Don’t consider this company, there are loads of other good alternatives! Plenty of broken promises and lies from their customer service (if you manage to ever contact them!)
Get one which is in the UK rather than Cyprus!

They say they are a registered online broker registered in Cyprus
Cant find any trace of them being registered with anyone?

Nightmare experience.
Aggressive onboarding approach. Multiple calls for days after I signed up to force a deposit.
Terrible customer service. Upon making a deposit, these people disappear and it's difficult to contact customer support.

They request you deposit money immediately.
Then requests all kinds of documentation to validate your identity AFTER taking your money.
If you can't provide sufficient evidence that you yourself deposited the funds then you can't use or reclaim your deposit. (In my case I do not have a valid passport).

My advice is to stay away from this company as they take money from you before efficiently onboarding you.
This kind of tactic is a scam and a breach of FCA regulation in the UK.

Still fighting to reclaim my money

Very happy to take your money, let you buy shares and then they will insist on lots more personal information than originally requested, photos of your credit cards etc.... The platform itself crashes often, often at the most inopportune time. When you try and get your money back you will be told you are in a queue, despite the statement they will action withdraw requests that same day. Still waiting for money back

My experience started off as really good but then lots of small bugs and problems started getting progressively worse.
This initially started as just a slow down in the platform around the opening of US markets (2:30pm) but this gradually got much worse.

I have recently experienced shares being bought randomly and short positions being opened without my permission. This has cost me quite a lot of money in lost cash, but also in the fees it costs for each of these transaction and then to correct the problem.

I have contacts Getstocks many times but they just keep saying they will "escalate my complaint" I have not had any kind of resolution so will have to go to the financial ombudsman now.

Through sheer luck I was actually recording my screen when some shares were randomly bought without my permission. Sadly I cant share youtube links on here.

To make matters worse, they were bought at a higher than market price!

Avoid Getstocks

Although it seems like a nice system it is a real pain in the BUTT to waste time going through the motions to then be told "sorry we do not operate in your country" ???? So it seems you have to be in USA, UK or Germany. If you live in a UK territory where pound notes are used, like the Channel Islands, IOM or Gibraltar then you are tarnished by being in a tax haven so therefore you must be a dodgy pirate ? Why not just say this on your website so we do not waste time.

I have to say it's not a bad platform; there are a few little things that are bit annoying.

Their export report to .cvc file is very messy you need to spend some time to clean it all up before you can use it for things like simple.st or even if you would like to keep an eye on your trades. Very limted markets.

The other thing that needs to be made clear even though they say there are no hidden fees there are... they may say that these fees are not in their control wich is possible, but a fee is a fee, if you are depositing via credit card or debit card you will be charged a % of your transaction

Pro:
+ easy to use
+ pay dividends back into your account
+ nice platform
+ Good customer support.

Negatives:
- very US focused
- charts are slow
- poor export capabilities

Awful customer service. I installed the app to test it and they ended up giving me a call every few days during the working hours for pushing me to upload money on my account. This happened even after I requested not to be contacted anymore.

Bank charge taken when depositing money, even with a debit card (since based abroad?). Not a lot of financial background on companies available. Automatic dividend reinvestment not possible. Dividends not paid in promptly. When buying, no offer made; it just goes through immediately. I'm not sure I want to stay with them.

They will ask you to load money and they will take Fees on loading money, then they will ask for Proof of ID and Proof of Address, then if you failed to provide them they will send the money back minus the loading fee, Why in hell you didn't tell me that this will happen at first place?

Pros:
Not Sure, as I wasn't able to complete my orders and profile because I lived in Saudi Arabia and non-saudi.

Cons:
- Hidden Fees.
- Unclear Process.
