Received a 200.00-dollar visa gift card…

Received a 200.00-dollar visa gift card for Christmas. Through Jan 10th spent 150.. check balance on jan8th and it was .34 cents. Fraudulent charges 53.00. Tried for 3 days to contact someone at gift card mall and could not get through. The only thing I would get was their recordings. Total waste of time!!! Worst experience ever!!! Neve do business with this company again!!! ANY CHARGES WITH Retailer city:

Fraudulent Charge on my giftcard

I had a $200 giftcard & made a couple purchases totaling about $55. I checked my balance & still had around $145 on it. When I went to use it again, the next day, it was declined so I checked my balance, again & there was a fraudulent charge of $143. This company is awful & now I am out money I desperately need.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

If I could give this crappy company no stars I would but unfortunately it won't allow me to do this. This has got to be the worst company ever. I've never ever been so frustrated with a company as I am with this one. This is my second card and it still does not work and then they have the nerve to tell me that I cannot use this card for certain purchases. What kind of a joke is that. The wait times to talk to someone for customer service is so ridiculously long. I could take a nap, wake up, take a shower and still will be waiting. I would never ever in my life recommend this crappy company to anyone. Please stay away from this company unless you love trouble.

Scam, I think

I received as a gift and went to the website to check the balance (the amount was not on the card). The web site sent me to a blank page. I then called the phone number provided on the card and a recording referred me back to the useless website.

PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!

Please don't buy from this company. I received a giftcard on 1/12/2025 for 30.00. I checked the balance and the money was there. Today on 1/13/2025 the gift has a balance of .02. I have not made purchase where is my money? Do you have people working who are pulling the money? When I checked the transaction, it said "RAID SHADOW" IS WHO SPENT MY MONEY! They are absolutely aware of the missing funds and use tactics to steal from their customers and receive personal information from you to steal your identity.. Buyer beware! If you want to buy a gift card buy from a trusted company like your bank. Some bank still sell gift cards and you can’t go wrong with an Amazon gift card!

The exact thing that people are saying happened to them within the last serval days, just happened to me. Received the gift card yesterday, activated it today (1/25/2025) no money and it decline every purchase i tried to make. I agree the one of the previous post, they need a class action lawsuit and I will be looking into since, they act as though they can't do anything about it. I have currently been on hold for more than 30 minutes after speaking to a representative, I think they just wait for you to hang up

$200,00 was used before I opened the package?

I got a $200,00 gift card and when I removed the Security Code sticker, it pulled the card numbers. Besides cheaply made, when I called the company requesting a new card, they said they would send me via email. Never got the email. Called back and they said the full $200 amount was used. I am disputing this but what a joke. Don't ever buy cards from this company!

Giftcardmall.com is definitely a scam. I received a $100 gift card last week. After attempting to make an unsuccessful online purchase. I went to the website to check the balance. My balance was $100. However I was still unable to use the card for my online purchase. So I thought give it 24hr. Today I called the number on the back of the card to check the balance and it stated that my balance was .01 cent. I spoke with a representative who offered to replace the card however I declined. I absolutely do not want any of my personal information with this company. They are absolutely aware of the missing funds and use tactics to steal from their customers and receive personal information from you to steal your identity.. Buyer beware! If you want to buy a gift card buy from a trusted company like your bank. Some bank still sell gift cards and you can’t go wrong with an Amazon gift card!

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

The same thing happened to me! Called giftcardmall.com to check my balance after only using a $500 gift card for two small purchases. Called to verify my balance which was $382. Went to use the card the next day and all the money was gone! What the heck is going on with this company!
Contacted the company and they requested my bank statement, photo of me holding my government ID, AND the receipt for the purchase of the gift card. I will not be sending my personal information to this company!
I will however, based on my experience and those of others stated in the comments contact the FTC.

Received Card as a gift. Went to a store to use the card was unable to use it. Checked the balance on the card and it said $200. A few days later the balance was zero after having not used it. The transaction history said it occurred in a single transaction but did not show the location. Sent email to company on their website, hope to hear back with some resolution.

i went to use my card and it had 43 cents left in it. It was drained of 99.56. I didn't charge anything. I am highly disappointed on this product that was gifted to me.

The same thing that happened to me

The same thing that happened to everyone else here happened to me, I got a $50 giftcard and went to check it, then I checked it on the valid site and it said I got all $50 taken off of it. This is a massive issue, as all of the giftcards have this website written on the back of them as the support website to check your funds. This should be resolved immediately.

The Dispute Dept Personal are doing their jobs!

UPDATE
The card dispute department has been worked on my case for a month and half and finally resolved my case. I got my money back! They explained when I went online the website took me to another scam site and lost my money. I used the replacement card in store, it works!!! Thank you!

Tried to activate my gift card, only one minute, my $500 is gone! I can't believe it!!!

$300 drained from gift card within 24 hours

Got a $300 gift card, confirmed the balance on their website and 24 hours later, the money was gone. I have 4 cents left to my balance. A quick google search later and I can't believe the number of people who have had the exact same problem. It seems like a very coordinated attack specifically with these gift cards from this vendor. I called customer service and they said they would send me an email with next steps. It's been hours and nothing yet. Will update this review with how it goes.

Money magically disappeared off card immediately after activation!

Received a $100 Visa Giftcard for Christmas from Giftcardmall and activated the card, set up a pin and checked the balance. There was indeed $100 dollars on the card. Tried to add the card to Google Wallet and it would not let me, so in my search on google for why Google Wallet did not allow this Visa Giftcard to be added I came across TrustPilot and decided to read some of the reviews. I became alarmed and immediately called the number on the back of the card to see what the balance was, and to my horror the balance is $0. A transaction for $100 dollars had been made the day prior, coincidentally, the same day it was activated. Now I am dreading having to go through the same process everyone else on here has tried to go through, to dispute this charge, otherwise, my family member and myself were scammed out of $100.
