Go Ahead

To say Go Ahead is not transparent is an understatement regarding how hard earned money is taken from hard working families such as ours. We decided to use Go Ahead for our 2026 Japan Trip. However, due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our Trip. When initially booked in April of 2025, we were advised to take the higher level of Insurance which was $899 and our Family could cancel for any reason. Sounded great, as We could get our money refunded in case of our situation above for canceling. However, Go Ahead told us we would get only Vouchers totaling $450 and receive $0 dollars back as part of the Insurance we purchased. So basically ,we were punished for purchasing the Insurance and received less than what the actual purchase price of the Insurance was. Of course I explained we will be unable to utilize the Vouchers within a years time as our situation will remain the same. Well unfortunately then they make more money off Us from our unused vouchers and keep the money we already put down. We do not Recommend Go Ahead to anyone as they are not transparent and the above was not throughly explained to Us. As a hard working family in retrospect we would have never booked the Trip knowing we would lose our almost $5,000!! This money is something we can’t get back. Myself and my husband have had recent health issues and are Elderly. As seasoned travelers our family has never experienced this type of deceit while using other companies such as Gate 1 or NCL etc. I hope this helps others not to utilize Go Ahead Tours.

Number 15 bus route - late again

I live and work in East End of London catching the No 15 bus route which a few steps away from the station. At my bus stop there is a display for times of the bus arrivals. I appreciate it cannot be fully accurate, but, yesterday the display time was stuck on 2 minutes for 8 minutes and this is not the first time. Now you could argue this is the display at fault , but, the bus did turn up approx 10 minutes later. They often terminate the buses early . Today the display on the bus said terminate at one stop. The didplay outside showed at different termination stop. I was then forced to leave the bus, so I would not be late. Getting on an already crowded bus with a disgruntled driver of that bus. The bus I alighted from carried on regardless to my destination.

It is clear to me the bus company has an issue with the volume of buses and I do appreciate this is a busy route. Often the tinerl into the city is closed which can affect the times, but , other times they should be running a quicker service.

Please sort this issue with your buses Go ahead on the number 15 route and let the people and myself get to work on time. Thank you

Gode opplevelser og utrolig hyggelige ansatte

Har egentlig alltid hatt gode opplevelser hos Go Ahead Nordic. Både når det gjelder komfort under reisen og alle de ansatte på toget, i tillegg til kundeservice. Hver gang jeg har hatt behov for hjelp under togreisen eller av kundeservice chatten grunnet personlige årsaker har de vært svært hjelpsomme og hyggelige.

Jeg elsker også at kundeservice er tilgjengelig til 23 hver hverdag i motsetning til andre bedrifter!

Took a train from Stavanger to Drammen…

Took a train from Stavanger to Drammen . The train carriage is absolutely out of date . Beginning with an old fashion platform , not the same level as in train station . Tables , seats all are like from 80 ‘ies … The toilet is easy to find , just follow your nose … smelling urine from the distance . Go Ahead , it’s a crap trains you are running , Fyyyy

BUS W4

The W4 bus service from Tallaght to Blanchardstown is very unreliable, especially the 5:30am bus from Tallaght. It is often delayed or cancelled, and I almost lost my job because of being late so many times. This service is unacceptable and urgent action is needed to fix it.”

Lite forutsigbart m.h.t hvorvidt toget…

Lite forutsigbart m.h.t hvorvidt toget faktisk går eller er innstilt (uten alternativ transport). Planlagt 3 reiser siste måneden (Sørlandsbanen, retning Stavanger-Kr.sand- Oslo), hvor alle togene ble kansellert. Toget fra Grenland mot Oslo er også et eventyr. 2 bytter inn mot Oslo med «sild i tønne» og lettere kaos.

Splittet

Jeg og min samboer skulle reise fra Drammen til Stavanger. Vi hadde bestilt seter sammen, men noen dager før fikk vi melding om at vi hadde fått nye seter. Disse var ikke ved siden av hverandre, noe jeg synes er veldig rart. Synes Go Ahead kunne ha tatt hensyn at de som hadde bestilt sammen, får sitte sammen. Vi som så fram til å ta toget sammen, ikke hver for oss.

Lang reise ble lenger

Skulle ta tog mellom Kristiansand og oslo S, Først da jeg hadde settet meg ned på toget ble det meldt at toget var innstilt. Det tok 2 timer på å komme på en buss og lite informasjon. Buss turen var grei men lang og en omkjøring grunnet en kræsj ( ikke dems feil), Reisen som var planlagt skulle vare fra 9 til ca 15 fra kristiansand til hjem men endte opp med å vare fra 9 til 19, skulle også ta andre reiser helt hjem som var bestilt billett på men de måte avbestilles. Hyggelig Ansatte men dårlig selskap. Første og siste gang.

Elendig materiell

Vi kjørte buss fra Oslo til Kongsberg (som var den beste opplevelsen). Toget vi reiste med fra Kongsberg til Stavanger var en elendig opplevelse. Det var en skitten gammel familievogn med toalett med utgang mot kupeen. Toalettet var slitt og luktet forferdelig. Eneste som var greit var konduktøren, som var en hyggelig dame.

Ubehagelig skittent tog

Ubehagelig skittent tog. Vaskepersonalet gjorde klart rett før vi satte oss på toget i Kongsberg i retning Stavanger. Men det så veldig skittent ut: møkk og smuler på gulvet, svær fettflekk på vindu og matbrettet hvor de reklamerer for å kjøpe deres mat hadde tørka skitt, smuler og gamle kaffeflekker. Er det lov å servere mat i sånne omgivelser?

Forsinkelser kostet mye penger og tid

Meg selv, Tobias Nilsen & 3 andre skulle ta toget fra Egersund til Oslo. Der skulle vi ta et fly til Bangkok. Vi beregnet å være på Gardemoen 3 timer og 40 minutter før avreise. Det oppsto elektriske feil på toget, og vi ble stående stille i 5 timer. Vi rakk dermed ikke flyet vårt ned til Thailand. Vi fikk tatt et nytt fly ned, men siden vi ikke møtte opp på første fly ble også returbilletten hjem kansellert. Vi måtte altså bestille nye billetter frem og tilbake fra Thailand grunnet dette. Heldigvis kompenserte Go-Ahead oss med hele 50% av togbillettene. Vil ikke anbefale å bruke dette selskapet om du ønsker å komme frem i tide. Alltid problemer. Siste gang jeg benytter meg av denne tjenesten. De ansatte var i motsetning til selskapet, fine folk.

Tog til Kristiansand over 2 timer…

Tog til Kristiansand over 2 timer forsinket kompensasjon nøtter og knekkebrød vel og bra men det var ekstremt lite folk på toget ..hjem fra Kristiansand over 2tlmer forsinket igjen pga avsporing tror jeg ingen kompensasjon sikkert pga av ekstremt fult tog . Tror jeg satser på buss heller

Vi var en gjeng på 5 stk som hadde…

Vi var en gjeng på 5 stk som hadde bestillt tog fra Egersund til Oslo Gardemoen for å rekke fly til Thailand. Vi hadde beregnet å være der 3 timer og 40 minutter før. Det oppstår en forsinkelse under vår tur som varer i 5 timer. Dette medfører til at vi ikke rekker våres fly. Som kompansjon for denne forsinkelsen fikk vi hele 50% av togbilletten tilbake. Ikke hele togbilletten engang. Anbefaler ingen å ta dette toget dersom man ønsker å komme frem i tide.

Bestilte « premium cupe » fra Stavanger…

Bestilte « premium cupe » fra Stavanger til Oslo for en avslappet tur!
Men nei .. fikk gammelt slitt lokaltog til Kristiansand i stedet 😡
Kaffe automat ødelagt og veldig mye bråk fra utette dører spesielt i tunneler .. det hylte og pep .. i Kristiansand fikk vi det som « skulle » være premium !! Bare juks .. samme cupen som økonomien, men gratis kaffe og et knekkebrød!!!!!
Slitne vogner og gamle toaletter

I want to sincerely thank Cuba

I want to sincerely thank Cuba, the bus driver of the 157, who showed incredible kindness to my 86-year-old mother when she got lost near Crystal Palace Parade on June 16th. Not only did he take the time to check on her, but he also personally called me to ensure she made it home safely. His compassion, patience, and genuine care made all the difference that day. It’s heartwarming to see people like Cuba going above and beyond for others. Thank you!"

Det settes inn lokaltog mellom…

Det settes inn lokaltog mellom Kristiansand og Stavanger veldig ofte! Dette er strekning på over 3 timer, da er det ikke holdbart med ett slikt togsett. Det er begrenset med toalett muligheter og ingen cafe vogn.

While undergoing training with Go-Ahead, specifically involving my trainer, James, and another staff member, William. My training has been marred by inappropriate behavior, bias, and unprofessional conduct that I feel compelled to bring to your attention.

On my third day of training, I was driving a bus when James grabbed my arm extremely hard, causing me considerable pain. I expressed to him, with the utmost respect, that he should never manhandle me in such a manner, especially while I was operating a vehicle. There was no clear danger that would have warranted such an action, and in fact, it created a greater hazard. James had access to the stop button and could have used it instead of resorting to physical force.

I chose not to report this incident at the time, fearing that it would adversely affect my progress. The following day, I was book for progress check with William /Bill, I was failed due to a minor incident where I brushed the curb. I felt this decision was unjust, especially considering that during my next progress check, I did not touch any curbs, break any red lights, or have any accidents, yet I was still failed. It has become apparent to me that James and William may be working together to undermine my progress.

Additionally, I found William's behavior during my progress check to be highly unprofessional. He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and made inappropriate jokes that were not only disrespectful but also had racist undertones. The overall atmosphere during my tests was toxic and degrading, with disparaging comments made about various staff members and management.

Moreover, I was scheduled to have Winston for my second progress check, but William showed up late, which added unnecessary stress and discomfort to an already challenging situation. Given that I had been booked for a progress check after only five days of training, I found it nearly impossible to meet the new standards implemented in such a short time frame. Furthermore, James previously mentioned that he had given another trainee six hours of driving instruction before their test, which raises concerns about the fairness and consistency of the training I received.

In light of these serious issues, I hope this statement ensures a respectful training environment for trainees in future.
