Damaged Contents - Replaced by new shipment
This is an updated review [originally 1 star]. Originally, I was very upset that FedEx broke several bottles in my Pamako EVOO case, and then they delayed delivery for several days while they carelessly repackaged the original case in a much too large box with insufficient packing material. I have no confidence in FedEx and would prefer never to use them to transport anything expensive or fragile.
I had to contact Gourmet Groceries and send many pictures of the broken bottles and spilled EVOO for an insurance claim. However, Gourmet Groceries sent a second shipment replacing the 4 broken bottles and included 2 extra bottles for my inconvenience (at no cost to me). Therefore, Gourmet Groceries earns 5 stars for customer service.
In the future Gourmet Groceries should allow buyers to specify their shipping carriers-- give us options (or use DHL Express (international priority/time-definite) where DHL uses their own yellow trucks for the final delivery in the USA).

There is a 2 week shipping delay. Since I have no way of knowing how a perishable item like Extra Virgin Olive Oil is being stored, I will request a refund.

Your order was dispatched the same day via express service (FedEx International Priority / DHL Express), which is the fastest available shipping option. The shipment is currently in U.S. customs clearance, a standard process for international deliveries that can occasionally cause delays and is unfortunately outside our control.
Please note that all products are stored in temperature-controlled, air-conditioned facilities and are carefully packaged to maintain their quality throughout transit.
While the vast majority of shipments are delivered promptly, customs procedures for food products entering the United States can sometimes extend delivery times.

Exceptional customer service and prompt communication even out of normal business hours on the Saturday evening 03/01/2026 whilst New Year Festivities were still ongoing. Truly an amazing experience to have my order processed that evening and have it picked up by FedEx on Monday and shipped via International Priority even though I paid for flat rate normal shipping and only because I requested Urgent Delivery in my order!!!
Stellios, the Managing Director, truly went above and beyond to fulfill my order and upgraded it to International Priority at no extra cost, even though he could've done it on Monday morning without any interruption to his New Year celebrations!!!
