Sammy Elsheikh at Gordon's did a very efficient job at handling my recent remortgage. Throughout the process all information was provided as prompt as possible, any requests of documentation from me were clear and easy to provide, and at no point did I have to chase up for an update. The entire process was handled with the utmost professionalism and I couldn't give a higher recommendation.

Renewing our mortgage with a new lender felt as daunting as when we bought the house 5 years ago. We were nervous and needed some handholding and a lot of prompting through some of the stages.

Although I'm sure Hamda Elmi has many clients to look after she treated us like we were her only ones. She was quick to reassure us every step of the way with her speedy replies to our many emailed questions, she nudged us with patience when we were slow to send documents and she was professional in her correspondence by phone and email.

Most of the documents and information Gordans Property Lawyers needed from us could be provided digitally which was convenient. And a clear outline of their services in our welcome pack gave us confidence that we knew what we could expect from them.

Gordon Property Lawyers have been the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Weeks of silence, constant chasing, contradictory information, documents “lost”, and absolutely zero urgency even when dealing with court-ordered deadlines. Every simple task was dragged out, mishandled or ignored entirely. Staff gave vague excuses, acted like they’d never read the file, and showed no accountability whatsoever. Handling agents even tried to refuse to name the solicitor dealing with the case. I left them for a new solicitor, and the difference was night and day. Save yourself the misery.

The service was great. Took a little while to get going but once it did it all went smoothly. The conveyancer Umayr Waraich was consistent, proactive and very swift with responses. I wish all firms were as good as this. Highly recommended

Although telephone communication is my prefer method of communicating rather emails, but we got the job done.

This firm were amazing, I had never sold a house before so had no idea what I was doing or the process. Serena Davies was brilliant! She kept me informed at all stages and even when I pestered her with questions she was always polite and answered any queries that I had straightaway. I can’t recommend this firm enough. Eldina Gecaj helped me remortgage my home and I found her to be very professional and on the ball. She kept me regularly updated throughout the whole process and gave me clear instructions. I would just say there was a late payment I had to make but I was given very short notice to pay this otherwise completion may have not gone through. I would have appreciated more notice given and hence avoided unnecessary stress. Apart from this I would recommend Gorgon's.
