GPL handled our purchase of our first house and we found thier service to be excellent. I would now recommend them to anyone I know buying a property in this area. Shaz and Holly were absolutely fantastic for us. They were very efficient and on top of everything - providing us with plenty of updates and providing timely guidance on how to fill out forms and any extra queries we had. As first time buyers, we were very new to this process. Holly Mapes especially went above and beyond our expectations, replying quickly and providing updates without us even asking for them, and we couldn't thank her enough. Donna Reynolds dealt with my remortgage and I can confidently say she was perfect for the job. She was efficient and communicative throughout the whole process.

I used them for a simple transfer of shares on a property and it turned into an absolute nightmare. The process dragged on for ages with no clear communication, constant delays, and repeated mistakes. They even managed to get the calculations wrong multiple times — basic things they should be able to handle without issue. Completely dissatisfied and would never use them again.

In general Gordons were great. At times they were slow to get back to me or to keep me in the loop about what I needed to do. This did lead to some stressful delays but in general they were responsive and communicative when it mattered and everything worked out in the end.
