Would not go with anyone else
It was the third trip with GRJ, the first being the Rhine Cruise and then the Danube Cruise! In June this year we went on the Edinburgh Highlands and Islands!
All the holidays have been
Wonderful, beginning with the booking experience where I found the staff knowledgeable, helpful and friendly!
The Tour Managers on each holiday have all been absolutely great with all attention to detail at all times!
All the hotels have been amazing and we never had any reason to wish for more!

All-inclusive Bavaria's Romantic Road
The only rail journeys were the outbound and return; excursions all involved approximately 2-hour coach trips. Would have preferred an overnight stop in Brussels rather than 12 hours travel from UK to Germany arriving at 1900 at hotel. Tour Manager just about adequate: she failed to add us to the WhatsApp Group - another guest did this. Did not inform us of bus services from our base; said sailings on Lake Constance had closed for the season - they hadn't! Info on things to see basic. Tour guides were much better. Hotel and staff very good. Excursions excellent. Overall the trip was enjoyable but could have been better.

I appreciate your feedback regarding the balance of rail and coach travel, as well as the length of the journey to Germany. While the itinerary is designed to showcase as much of the region as possible, I understand that the travel arrangements did not fully match your expectations.

Not easy to pay deposit
Booking on line was easy but I couldn’t pay a deposit without calling the UK. Then I got passed to three people. The last person that finalized my reservation was great. You should set up payment on line.

Fuss free booking
I couldn't book online as I had a voucher to redeem, so I phoned. After various experiences I've had lately with other companies, it was great to go through a minimal process before I ended up talking to an actual person. Paul was friendly and helpful, and our holiday was booked without any problems.
