This was a fitting of PV on Mull.
Contractor turned up ist time with no knowledge of trench needing dug .took two days off work and cost of travel for aborted fitting .poor communication internally .
Phoned yesterday spoke to Lana about new system offline .
No tech support other internally other than getting Vinny to call me and as of yet he hasn’t!

This is an interim review as we are part way through an extensive install being undertaken by Green Home Systems which began in the middle of last year. We realised that our 4 bedroom property would be quite challenging, being of multi type construction with various added extensions. Our original path was through the ECO4 scheme, but following the funding being pulled last minute, we had to look at an alternative route. At each part of the process Graeme at Green Home has been brilliant at guiding us through all stages. His confidence, knowledge and communication put our minds at ease, making sure that our project got over the line.
In addition, the admin team of Sona and Lana were always approachable and helpful, responding quickly to any queries that we had, especially with the demanding situation regarding ferry cancellations and having to reschedule visits.
We are now just awaiting for the final heating install (ASHP) having undergone full internal wall insulation on all our external walls. We were a bit dubious and nervous about the level of disruption this part of the project might cause, but we needn’t have worried. Joiners Stevie and Paul turned up and were extremely efficient courteous and respectful throughout. Their workmanship was excellent, particularly around the Velux window reveals with new sills fitted , and were thoroughly deserving of their daily bacon filled rolls and coffee and tea refills.
Plastering of all walls is currently ongoing, and a further final review will follow once the new heating system has been installed. So far we would wholeheartedly recommend Green Home Systems without any hesitation for any energy saving installs required.

Communication was very good and clear from the start. I received a quote that I considered competitive, and I was able to specify certain equipment. The initial survey was done within days of contact, all the paperwork came by email quickly and an installation date was fixed that was only about 3 weeks away. On the day of the install the workers turned up in the morning and worked tirelessly until the job was finished around mid-afternoon, despite the poor weather. The workmen were careful to keep the house and area clean. There was important paperwork to follow and I was grateful for the help of the office staff in getting that done quickly and helping to answer my questions. I guess the only disappointing part is that the scaffolding is still in situ over a week a later, I assume this is down to the scaffolding company but it would be good to get it cleared from the driveway.

All company staff were attentive and professional, from initial contact, office staff and installers.
The installation technicians, Mathew & Gregor, were great - polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Job was more complicated than expected but they remained cheerful and still finished promptly. Installation was finished to a very high standard & there was no mess whatsoever.
Highly recommended company.

Green Home Systems recently came out to resolve an issue we had with our home EV charger, brought about by a manufacturer part recall. From initial contact with Michael, arrangements were promptly and efficiently put in to place. Their team arrived a few days later and swiftly had the part switched out. The installers did a thorough check to ensure everything was in working order prior to leaving. A relatively simple job but Green Homes treated it with their full attention, providing a quality service from start to finish. Thanks guys 👍

The installers of the new air source heat pump and cylinder were friendly and helpful, the work was completed quickly, and everything was left tidy.

Good communication and help was always at hand from start to finish. We did have a slight start date Issue , which was quickly resolved and the Installers were there on the correct day .We had anew heating system , Heat Pump & water Cylinder Installed I cannot Fault Konrad & Luke , they worked like Trojans and did a better job than had originally been planned as they found they could feed the pipes under the floor instead of drop feed. Konrad kept us Informed of possible Issues , but always manged a solution . they tidied up after themselves and Luke even had my Mother as an apprentices sweeping floors . (she Insisted on doing it)Luke was a legend In sorting out the App and getting us up and running when there was an Issue with my energy supplier , this turned out to be a slight communication Issue with the supplier and myself .I would not hesitate in getting both Konrad & Luke to any further work, I felt very comfortable around them we still managed to chat at times throughout the week. I had no Qualms in leaving the guys to it and going out for a while for shopping etc. Green home systems should be proud of Konrad & Luke they are worth their weight in Gold. Thanks Guys

This company is so professional, they keep intouch about everything and from receiving the first call from them to having the scaffolding removed was just 2 weeks.
Also the tradesmen who came to fit the solar panels and the battery storage were the tidiest workers we have had in the house all our flooring was covered and removed when finished. Thank you again for your professionalism. 😀

Office staff were very friendly and helpful answering my questions. The lads who came to install the kit were polite,worked efficiently and tidaly,and were a great help explaining how it all worked. I would recommend Green Home Systems for solar panel installations.

All completed on time on the date agreed. No mess and no fuss, the way things should be and no false promises. Everything working as expected.

They were progressional and courteous, good communicators and advocates.
The work done was professional and beautiful.
We will work with them again!

GHS installed cavity wall insulation around a kitchen extension of my cottage in December 2025 - a relatively small commission. Nonetheless, out of 7 companies contacted, 3 of whom turned up to survey the job, only GHS actually bothered to quote and so subsequently got the job. Once the contract was sorted they provided a work date within 10 days or so, turned up on time and did a quick and tidy job. A house surveyor then turned up within a week of that and provided me with an updated energy performance certificate the same day. Following a further survey to establish that the house is adequately vented, I have subsequently received an insurance-backed guarantee for the work undertaken. For all of this, GHS deserve 5 stars and I would definitely recommend them for the quality and efficiency of the work done as well as the package of 'extras' included in the service. However, I have taken away one star simply because I found their back office a little dysfunctional, with minor inconsistencies between the quote, the contract and the services expected/ provided which I had occasionally to query and chase.

Knowing someone is overseeing your project alleviates stress and builds trust.

After a shaky start with a few issues we were delighted when a young man from the company turned up and sorted our problem out .Very nice capable chap who was totally clued up with the workings of the system.

Apart from first port of call being useless at returning calls..or answering, everything went much better than I had hoped. ( glad i knew somebody who had had job done previously..or i would have given up).
Workmen were amazing! Clean, tidy and particular and kept us well informed on what was happening..deserve 10/5 no decorating or anything needed done afterwards.
Job started and finished exactly when scheduled.
System is working better than I had expected!!

This was a scheme granted through my landlord and I was so impressed with the organisation of my job, which was a large one, and the communication throughout. The schedule was clear and precise and the teams that came in were all brilliant, respectful and friendly.
