He explained clearly what was required with regards to paperwork and account details needed to help with the R&D.

Claim submitted, 4 weeks on; Monday: we received the news from Jonathan K that our claim had been accepted and we were due to receive quite a substantial sum; Tuesday: amount entered onto the Green Jelly Fish payrun; Wednesday: funds arrived in our account!

I'm impressed and completely overwhelmed with the process and the service we received. I provided clear, factual information about what our business had achieved during the relevant years and Green Jelly Fish turned that information into a claim.

So, thank God for review platforms is what I would initially say. As we are in the marketing and media sector, we are very aware of what reviews look genuine and which ones look, shall we say "company generated" I was contacted by these people today and the intent was clear, to get a phone appointment with one of their sales reps to go through eligibility and any future claim against HMRC. We all have to pay tax and nobody enjoys giving the government our hard earned money right? But we have to pay regardless and from experience, the one organisation you do not mess about with is HMRC. So, after reading many reviews with detailed breakdown of their company experience with Green Jellyfish (whoever came up with that name?) I decided to cancel my appointment rather than risk being one of those reviewers who unfortunately are massively out of pocket and face an uphill nightmare after dealing with this company. I cannot advise anyone what to do, other than read the reviews on here and other review platforms and make your own decisions BEFORE entering into any conversations with Green Jellyfish! Thank you

Awful company - give false reassurances and promises that are to good to be true - did and R+D claim for us which was successfully challenged by HMRC and now we face penalties - they have taken their fees and our company now potentially faces administration - please avoid being taken in by their marketing spiel and promises that turn out to good to be true. We are a care company with fragile finances made worse by these charlatans. They take a hefty 15% commission which will prbably not be refunded according to many others who have had the same awful experience.

Great service from Mr Mirzayi. He got us a load of money back, we shopped around and found that Green Jellyfish could get us the most back!! Well done.

UPDATE - Green Jellyfish and I have now reached an agreement, and we are happy with how this situation has been resolved.

I have had a large numbers of companies contact me with the same complaint as I have. Do yourself a favour, DO NOT give into false promises, YOU RUN THE DANGER OF BEING FINED BY HMRC like myself and other companies. Green Jellyfish wipe their hands of it and keep the money they made from the R and D claim and pass you on to another company.

This is my second year working with Green Jellyfish on my R&D claim. I love how you get one account manager who guides you through the application and tailors it specifically to your business. It's great to get professional support in ensuring the application's success and I have been really impressed so far with their communication and my claim process. Yes, there are fees, but I feel for me it's worth it to ensure the best possible outcome for my application and they were cheaper than an accountancy firm I contacted to compare. Scam - I was told if my claim was unsuccessful there would be no fee. Made claim paid out quickly and they took their fee then informed hmrc are reviewing and had to repay hmrc. Contacted Green Jellyfish for refund and ignored for months finally got email saying not getting a refund. I’m taking them to court.

Avoid at all costs!!!

I have been stuck at loggerheads with JG for about 15 months now as they keep sending me credit control invoices for £1800 when we were only even claiming about £500 for the relevant year and it is showing no sign of having gone through. Over the last few weeks I have been hounded with calls - sometimes on loop in a few minutes when I can't answer and with more emails, invoices and demands. I get asked for screenshots of my account every few weeks and if I don't send them within an hour or so it all starts again. It has been an incredibly stressful and upsetting cycle and one to which I am getting no answers at all. I just want to cancel it and for it all to go away.
I had previously had 2 preciously simple and quick claims so I don't know what has changed. Though now I'm reading these reviews I fear I may get a demand for repayment at some point and they were false.

My company has asked on several occasions for the complaints procedures and have not received them. Our claim was unsuccessful and HMRC felt that we had not sought professional help. Greenjellyfish handled our whole claim but insist it is my company that is incompetent what a joke!

Service from Kimberley Ruddock is a total joke needs some training on service.. after all your a client facing business not working in a bloody warehouse!

She arranged everything and kept me informed at every stage. All the targets and dates were hit and we as a company delighted with the outcome.
