Extreme Frustration with Groove!
If groove does not invest in making their platform more user friendly and functional, and work on their customer service response time and effectiveness, they will loose customers.....
I invested in the lifetime premium package years ago with all the awesome promises...it seems to still be in BETA and is extremely glitchy! My current email list at the moment has no first names...they all disappeared! I had to search for them and found them in the membership contacts...so went and manually added them back in...why did this happen?! The funnel/page builders are not user friendly...I feel emotionally drained every time I log in! And the ultimate Worse Thing and completely demoralizing is the fact that their customer service sometimes takes months to get answers/resolved...I started inquiring about a commission payment I was due from December last year and was back and forth, back and forth until 6 months later they finally get back to me telling me that they don't pay out until after two sales....why could they not have told me this from the beginning...they kept promising that the payment was going to be made....A lead magnet opt in I built wasn't working either...we were back and forth for months and it still was not resolved...so I literally scrapped it and moved it off the groove platform...and the glitches of Groove Mail and the of the web views in Groove pages is seriously scary as I am about to launch my business....
In invested a lot in this platform and I pray they get their act together and focus on fixing their products and customer service instead of the never ending upsells they continue to flood their customers with.
I know they will ask for a reference number for my communication with support...even that I can't find...when I go into previous chat conversations in the help desk area...they come up, but when you click on them to get the details...I get a message that it's not available...
One more thing...no idea if this is related to groove...but the minute I tried sending my first email broadcast (yes with that list that had the disappearing names!) my email ip address was blocklisted....this happened two days ago so I'm working with my internet provider to see if they can help me in getting a new ip...hoping it doesn't happen again!

I really regret investing in the Lifetime purchase of Groove. Over $2K - this was supposed to make things easier.
Now I find the thought of creating a funnel emotionally exhausting while I try to figure out the way Groove works.
This was supposed to replace many of the apps I'm paying for with their "coming soon" apps. After purchasing only to discover, these apps have been coming soon for years.
The lack of integration makes a need for "duct tapping" using other apps that will cost more money. I would have been better off just getting something for my direct need, saving my money, time, and disappointment.
I so wish I could get my investment back and not feel stuck with this company.
I'm considering just chalking it up as a loss and moving on. Because the sunk cost fallacy is real and I may just start looking for alternatives and try to quickly forget about this experience.

I LOVE Having All the Tools I Need Under one Roof!
I deeply appreciate having all the tools I need under one roof and platform. The software team has been kicking out at least weekly updates to the software. The customer support has been incredible for me. Purchasing the Platinum lifetime plan back in 2022 was the best investment I've ever made to date for my online business. Thank you Groove Team! You're the best!

Groovemail.... GrooveFAIL
I was a big fan of Groove, and became a platinum member. They touted Groovemail as their flagship product and this is one of the main reasons I bought Groove in the first place.
I’ve been patiently waiting for groovmail to come with SMTP. However, after several years and MANY broken promises, it’s STILL not here, and they can’t even tell me when it will come.
I am currently trying to ‘Duct tape’ groovefail together with several other companies, something Mike Filsaime claimed you wouldn’t need to do. I FINALLY managed to do it but it was an absolute nightmare and took a week or so to get it all working.
Since Groovefail STILL doesn’t have SMTP, you’d have thought they’d provide full training for the 4 SMTP providers they do support. You’d have thought!...
But you’d be wrong.
ALL their training ‘assumes’ that groovefail is working with SMTP, which of course it isn’t. And instead of sorting out their ‘flagship’ product, they spend all their time trying to sell me more and more stuff…. REALLY????
Groovefail is a massive let down. Donna Fox needs to be given the boot and someone else take over.
I really liked you at the start Mike and I had faith in you, but you are no different than all the other marketers.
Customers Matter…. I don’t think so!
And by the way, I still haven't received a third of my Groovemags from last year.
Stop trying to sell me more stuff and instead sort out the things you still haven't delivered on. You're supposed to be a technology company, not a marketing company, aren't you?

I have just downgraded my original 2 start rating to 1 star, and even that is more than I would like to give.
Much of the software is still glitchy or broken and it looks like they've just given up on it. They also took over Yousign, which used to be good but now that software is broken and their 'support' is non existent too.
I have put in three support tickets over the last 10 days and NONE of them have been answered. They can't be bothered to answer my problems BUT... within that time they have sent me not one, not two, not even five or ten... but THIRTY marketing emails!
AND...
I still haven't received the magazines that I paid for and even though they said in their reply that they would be "reaching out to me"... Guess what?
Not heard a word from them.
These people aren't interested in customers, all they're interested in is MONEY!!!!

They Will Take Care of You
UPDATE: Groove was extremely responsive and refunded me $99 so don’t hesitate to work with them, they will take care of you!!
Platform is feature rich offering a lot of functionality for anything you want to do for online marketing!
Canceled my $99 plan on March 13 via their customer support chat (they don't allow you to cancel online). After receiving confirmation it was canceled, they charged me $99 again on 4/13/23.
Still waiting for their assistance. Will update this review if they end up making things right!

They don't pay their affiliates which…
They don't pay their affiliates which is a huge sign of dishonesty. I have promoted this product as an affiliate and they still haven't paid me almost $3000 worth of commissions that they owe me. These sales were generated over a year ago and they claim to pay commissions every month. I have contacted them regarding this numerous times and to this day I've heard nothing back from them. They are obviously ignoring me so that they wouldn't need to pay.
This is a massive sign of dishonesty from a company that sells expensive lifetime access to their software. If they don't pay their affiliates then they most likely don't care about their customers either. Avoid!!

bootstrapped startups fix bugs quicker
I have seen bootstrapped startups working out of their parent's garage fix bugs and provide better customer service than Groove.
If Groove doesn't slow down all the hype and just focus on getting the basics right they won't be in business for long. Software isn't easy to use. It is buggy with slow updates and customer support they should be ashamed of.
Hope they improve and work out the development and customer success issues.

Slow To Resolve!
Average at best, for two reasons. Editing type on the website is easy, but anything else is beyond "user friendly". Also, if you have a problem with your project, customer service is very slow to respond - both chat and email.

Great platform and customer service
I absolutely adore the concept of consolidating all of the tools that I need to run my online business into a single location. I am aware that not all of the tools are currently operating at their full potential; nonetheless, developing something fantastic takes time. More system updates are something I am looking forward to. In addition, I would like to mention that customer service support is quite useful, as they offer an excellent response to any inquiries that I may have regarding the platform. Kudos to Groove!

I've been a Lifetime Platinum member and regret spending a dime on Groove.cm. It's not even worth free. The customer support has been near non-existent and the actual software is clunky, glitchy, second rate to every other provider available. You'll waste precious time and money.

This platform is veering on being an outright scam (in fact, I would argue they are).
Honestly, do not fall for their lies. They still have not introuduced many of the promised features and it is still so very buggy. But they sure DO try and sell you a load of other stuff, which I assume, through assocaition with Mike FilSCAM and Groove, is also garbage.
To be clear, I am no longer trying to love this platform. I have spent a lot of money on digital marketing and online business stuff (courses, programmes, software etc) and this BY FAR the worse investment I ever made in this field.
AVOID IT!
There are some great legitimate platforms which I do recommend (not an affiliate for any of them, but I have used them and appreicate them). The main two I would recommend are systeme.io or HighLevel. I believe ClickFunnels is also good, but it is expensive. I currently use HighLevel and it is great.
Have a read into Mike Filsaime's background and you will find that while he is an experienced digital marketer, he is certainly not one of the 'good guys' but more so appears to be one of the many (somewhat successul) marketing bros who will take your money and run.

I'm trying to love it, however sometimes its hard. It is often very buggy and many things which should be real simple and intuitive are set up to be fiddly and difficult.
It was supposed to be out of beta many months ago now, however from my experience it is still very much an experimental beta project. Not what you want if you are trying to be quick and effective with your time.
I am really considering using one of their competitors now, systeme.io.

Overhyped, unreliable, badly managed, waste of time
Overhyped, out of beta, and sold as a fully working product but after two years still so full of bugs it cannot reliably be used by any business. Published sites change by themselves or go offline for no reason!
Criticism and questions are constantly censored as the figureheads cannot stand any criticism.
Overpromising, underdelivering, no communication, never taking any responsibility, not paying affiliates on time, no answer to support questions, or getting impolite replies back.
Their lifetime deal is just a ploy to keep hiding behind substandard development practices. Not worth the investment.
This should be run by a TEAM of qualified people instead of just one person vying for the CEO's job and who wants to make himself irreplaceable making videos every day instead of being on top of development. This is hurting the brand and making Groovecm a very bad investment for the overwhelming majority of the people who purchased it.
I've told our team once more to NEVER recommend it again, the way it is run now, and we will move all our clients over back to a more reliable platform on our own expense.
