I’ve completed my private and instrument through Gold Seal and can’t say anything but fantastic. Gold Seal team put together an organized and informative online class and you’ll be well prepared for written and check ride exams. And more importantly a safe pilot. Thanks Russell and Gold Seal for providing the best ground school.

Went from Student Pilot to CFI in a year and two days and used Gold Seal for private and instrument training. Hands down the most comprehensive ground school out there. The only thing better than the content is the level of customer service you get on the back end of things. Russ and his crew have been instrumental in providing not only a quality service, but also maintaining a standard for creating safe and proficient pilots out there in the fleet. Can't speak highly enough for the content. It's very engaging, easy to follow, interactive and is constantly evolving and updating to meet the ever changing needs of the industry. As a newly minted CFI, there'll only be one ground school I recommend for all my future students.

Interactive and detailed lessons with plenty of practice questions helped me a lot. I feel like 299$ was on the higher end but having the lifetime access makes it worth the money.Also had I technical issue of my own creation. I reached out for help and Russ responded quickly to help me resolve my issue.I would highly recommend PPL or IFR ground school from Gold Seal

I had a great experience studying for my private pilot, FAA knowledge exam using the Gold Seal Online Ground School. The material is up to date and easy to use. Great mix of video and other interactive study material as well as printable support material to get you fully and confidently prepared for the test. There are many additional support videos they provide on their YouTube channel. Good humor helps keep it from being a dry subject at times. I scored a 97% on my first and only attempt. I am 62 so online learning is new to me. I tried two other well known, online programs. They were much pricier and did not do as well as Gold Seal. Russ and his team do a fantastic job of setting you up for success in the shortest amount of time. Thank you!

Gold Seal peaked my interest when I was searching for a suitable ground school. The animations, in plane videos, and easy to understand lessons made it the clear choice for me. Reviewing modules and stage checks prior to flight lessons on track, leaving less review to be had in the plane. I was able to score well on the written exam and continue to review lessons as I go through my solo hours. I couldn't ask anything more from this great product. It truly makes student pilots safer.

I took the instrument course with Gold Seal after not feeling like I retained much from another ground school provider. My experience with Gold Seal was a 10/10!

They offer a hands on learning experience online with activities to explore in order to better understand things. It was much more interactive than the other ground school course it took.

The videos felt much more modern than other providers I have dealt with. The illustrations and graphics were up to date and everything seemed to be a fresh production from our technological era, not something recycled from 25 years ago.

The order the information was organized seemed very relevant to me. I felt like it flowed well from basics I needed to understand first, into the meat of instrument flying, and then putting it all together. There was also emphasis on specific things I would see on the knowledge test, things to expect a DPE to ask or want me to demonstrate in a checkride, and even the occasional verbal note about something I should not expect to be tested on but it’s good to know anyway.

The questions on the practice test and the final exam were very comparable to reported questions from the FAA official exam. The questions on the official test felt very familiar and I felt very prepared and confident thanks to Gold Seal.

I ended up passing the test with an A and do not think I would have been nearly as prepared without Gold Seal! They offer a great course!

I found out about GoldSeal through my involvement with Civil Air Patrol and was very happy with the program. The interactive models helped tremendously allowing me to absorb the material a lot quicker than the online ground school that my flight school was using. The quizzes and practice tests were extremely helpful and prepared me to where I scored an 86% on my Private Pilot Written. Now I am using GoldSeal for my Instrument Ground School as well!

I spent considerable time comparing various ground school programs, and hands down, Gold Seal stands above the rest. The platform is incredibly well-organized, offering well-thought-out methods that not only help you understand the material but also retain it for the long term.

I scored a 95 on my Private Pilot Knowledge Exam, and I attribute much of that success to the engaging 3D animations and thoughtfully produced video content delivered by the inspirational Russ Still. Gold Seal truly leads the pack in both quality and clarity.

I passed the whole course, did multiple practice tests, passed all practice tests in every chapter, and took spend about 47 hours in total school Time studying, some sections multiple times,
multiple final tests and I can't get over 90% of final I did 87%,
and I you can get to 90% you don't pass.
and instructors don't want to indorse if you won't get 90%.
I have reached a point giving up on aviation. Lately to much BS in industry.

Started the course in mid 2023 when I did my flight physical. Found out that my medical was going to take forever so I quit doing ground. When I finally got approved through medical my course was updated with new information and some new exams. A few times while I was doing the course I got confused about different concepts. Every time I got an answer almost immediately. Including once on the Sunday before the 4th of July. The course was updated a couple of weeks ago again after I had finished all the sections. Again I got the update and I'm assuming even though I have graduated if any updates are made I'll be able to access them too. Definitely using for instrument ground school.

I have taken 3 other instrument online courses. This was by far the best. The way it was taught from explanation's to graphics, study interaction's and the great presentation of the instructors. I have scheduled my knowledge test and feel very confident about taking it. Thanks so much!

I took my private pilot knowledge test today and got a 90. Probably would've gotten higher if I studied more diligently. Most of the questions on the exam I saw in the ground school. The private pilot ground school is great, and I love the Gold Seal team. The lessons are often split up into short videos that are really easy to digest.  I think the content of the course is pretty well-rounded and won't leave any big gaps in your knowledge. The lesson resources given on some lessons are very good to go over, so if you do choose to do Gold Seal, you should always be using them! Happy to continue my instrument training with Gold Seal whenever I get there.  

Gold Seal was fundamental in helping me pass the private pilot knowledge test. The information was explained in a way that is easy to understand and easy to apply. I would recommend Gold Seal to anyone who is looking for an online ground school.

Gold Seal's PPL course was fantastic. It not only helped me pass the written test a year ago but I was able to continue to use it to keep fresh on topics that came up in the Oral Portion of my Checkride. There were constant additions/updates to the course. I highly recommend the PPL course and will be taking a test drive of their Instrument course as well.

I am familiar with several of the major ground schools. I am also a former teacher and currently lead training at my job. Gold Seal is the clear leader in quality and follows best practices for adult learners.

As a student I tried Jepp, Glime and Kings; nothing really clicked for me and the material. After getting my instructor certificates I went on a search to check out “those other guys”, that I kept hearing about. I tried out Sportys, MzeroA and then Gold Seal.
Gold seal by far was my favorite to use and learn from. It delivers the material in an easy to follow and engaging up to date format.
As an instructor I find myself going back and peaking at modules as I prep for lessons with my students and enjoy finding a new thing to learn with each visit.
Russel and the team at Gold Seal have put together an amazing PPl and IRA course and I can’t wait till their CAX course comes out.

Russell Still and his staff have an excellent program. I had tried Gleim but struggled staying focused so I tried Gold Seal and was glad I did. I passed my written. Gold Seal kept me wanting to learn more. If you are doing Ground School there is none better than Russell Still and Gold Seal staff. Can’t wait for the next course!!!

Excellent program with outstanding support. Russell Still has assembled a great team, developed an outstanding product and is active in supporting students. If you are considering Gold Seal for ground school, stop thinking about it and buy the lifetime subscription.

Scored a 90 in PPL. I know now why my flight school recommended Gold Seal. Absolute masterpiece! I am not a fan of online learning but Gold Seal somehow has changed my mind. They managed to design a program that makes ‘Theory’ as fun as the ‘Practical’. It was a lot of fun. Part 61 can get a bit messy to organize, Gold Seal structured it very well. 5 stars all the way!
