I ordered 5 chickens and some beef from Halal Origins. Unfortunately, the beef was missing from the order when it arrived.

I attempted to contact customer service regarding the missing item but did not receive a response. This was particularly disappointing as I needed the issue resolved promptly.

I also found the packaging and overall quality of the meat to be below my expectations. Having purchased from several other meat suppliers in the past, I have not experienced similar issues with missing items or lack of customer support.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this supplier and would encourage potential customers to consider these factors before placing an order.

I have spent a long time looking for organic halal meat, and I'm glad I kept looking till I found Halal Origins. The meat is excellent quality, the customer service is also excellent: highly recommended!

I placed a meat order with this company and unfortunately had a very poor experience. Their service is highly unprofessional and unreliable. They repeatedly cancelled orders without any notice, and made no effort to communicate—ignoring phone calls and WhatsApp messages. On one occasion, they cancelled my order last minute without offering any explanation or clarity, which caused significant disruption to a planned function. Despite multiple attempts to follow up, we were left completely in the dark. I’ve been messed around by them on several occasions, and it’s clear they lack basic customer service standards. I will not be ordering from them again and cannot recommend their services based on my experience

I have been a customer of Halal Origins for months now and can only speak highly of them. The meat is of premium quality and the service is impeccable. I only buy meat from them and happily pay the premium. You can 100% see a difference between their products and the ones from a regular butcher.

I ordered some lamb chops recently from Halal origins along with some chicken. The lamb was very succulent and the chicken was very tasty. Heatwave due soon I think I'll be getting the burgers this time 😄

I had posted a positive review, 5 star on Google as per the owners request to help with the service, several months ago but have to update this. I didnt post reviews on here, but will now as my review is not appearing on Google at present. I have posted on there and several other places. This garbage has to stop. Initially for the first few weeks all ok, the owner asked regularly if order was ok etc etc. He spoke as if they were diligent and focusing on keeping the costs down etc, as it is expensive. Then all the pleasantries stop. Then issues begin.

The people seem genuine and pleasant, but they are too erroneous, wreckless and somewhat lacking consideration, once you become a regular customer. On numerous occasions have been told there is no chicken or it wil come after 10 days, after placing an order. On a few occasions the meat pack was about 70% of the weight. On one occasion the chicken was off, I believe this was not even a fresh order, it stunk real bad. On other occasions I have been double charged or over charged. On one occasion the delivery driver left the meat in the front garden and drove off, no notice nothing. On several occasions told that the order will be halved, BTW I asked for 4 chickens at that time and was told too many people have ordered this week so I can pnly get 2. This left me in limbo so had to figure out what to do, but was without for 2 weeks. They have happily agreed to cover the cost or exchange the various products. However, the price keeps going up. Not a reliable service at all, this is after using their servcies for almost 8 months or so. It appears as though they just want to keep customers but not at this rate its an awful service now. To keep us happy, after all these cock-ups, we were offered a pack of boneless meat, lol. What a joke! Highly unreliable, yet claiming to be high quality. This service is like buying a laptop off the street, there is always an issue. They are charging almost 3 times the regular price, yet giving you a lesser service than the local butchers. Appalling. Their character shows after a while and don't believe them with their repeated lies and promises.

Now to this week, date 20th Apriil. The meat was ordered on the 15th and we were told sorry about before, the order will arrive on 19th, but gues what no order. Messaged him and have evidence for all these failures. It is now Saturday and the frseshly prepared meat is out for delivery, approaching 72 hours sitting in the back of DPD van with 3 small icebags. Again this will stink and we will have to throw it away and will have to claim our money back. They are liars. For short measure we were also informed the owner is away on holiday, but this is the response we get always. Based on this behaviour I am having doubts about the quality and organic authenticity of the chicken. Why? Its not fresh and should be pure of nasty things. But will it? It was off last time and stunk, the owner told us to chuck it in bin. Disgraceful. I dont usually post these messages, but since the owner asked me to post a review after his first few weeks (my first review on google), it was necessary to expose thos facade. I note this may have happend with many others, but it needs to stop.

I am keen to post this to watchdog aswell since half of their promises om website are broken. I am not even sure how authentic or halal they are. If they can lie about one thing repeatedly then why not about others?

You're better of finding alternatives. Sadly, it seems because there are few offering these services people are struggling with options. If anyone has any do post. I did not want to post this but sadly its going from bad to worse, and for those looking to improve their health, this place will give you stress and anxiety.

I think the only thing that could be improved is choice of a delivery date.
