DPD lost one of the packages in transit. Halite sorted out a replacement with no fuss and it arrived a few days later. Good customer service, and a great price too.

A Very Smooth Transaction.
After previously ordering tablet salt from 2 fly by night companies who were quick to grab my money, and promise deliveries that never transpired, I was being cautious about ordering again, I may have mentioned them in other reviews.
I was encouraged by the Halite reviews, the price, and although I was in no rush, the 48 hour tracked delivery ensured I knew exactly when to expect my delivery.
I will without hesitation use this company again.

Their web site is very easy to navigate, the price of the block salt is sensible compared to other vendors and the order turnaround was incredible fast and, finally, delivery service by DPD was prompt, with the usual updates on status.
Excellent service, thank you!

Ordered salt 3 weeks ago with delivery confirmed for 19 Jan, sent them a message querying the order with no reply. Going to have to reverse credit card transaction. Is this company fake?
4 weeks later and Halite came back to me, delays due to stock coming from Egypt. Order refunded.

Hi Jay,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and bringing this matter to our attention. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you experienced with your order.
The original order was a preorder, which unfortunately ended up getting delayed due to unforeseen issues with our stock shipment from Egypt. We understand your frustration with the delay in delivery and the lack of communication on our part during this time.
To improve our service, we have now employed a new member of staff dedicated to handling customer emails and messages to ensure better communication moving forward.
We are glad to hear that the issue has now been resolved and that you have received your refund. If you ever wish to order from us again, we would like the opportunity to demonstrate our new high standard of service.
If you have any further concerns or need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at info@halitesalts.co.uk.
We value your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.
Don't get scammed like me. Salt Contains Impurities
Don't get scammed like me. Was looking for a more affordable block salt supplier and happened upon this company. The price was good but obviously too good to be true as the saying goes. They try to entice you but advertising the benefits of the salt being imported from an oasis in Egypt. What you get is complete garbage. The salt blocks are not produced using the vacuum system most reliable producers use. The result is that you get blocks that contain impurities such as sand and other grits. Best case scenario is that is makes a mess of your softener. Worst case is that it will make a mess of your entire plumbing system and possibly even affect your health.
I have tried to contact the company several times to ask for a refund on my remaining blocks of salt but they've never responded. So don't be like me and try to get a deal too good to be true. Go with a reputable company that has been around for a while and pay a little more.
