Mistakes and errors from start to finish- in the end decided to change estate agents

The staff at Halls were very helpful.
We received emails confirming viewing and if there was any problems they sorted it out straight away.
The staff were polite and no task was to small to deal with.

Very professional and always responded in a timely fashion. I felt like the team were with me every step of the way and kept in constant communication letting me know how things were going. I have no hesitation in recommending Halls.

All through the process of the sale of the property we were kept it touch with emails and phone calls of viewings and the actual sale. Excellent and professional agents would recommend.

Creative marketing based on our preferences. A very personalised service pre and post sale. Jamie (Shrewsbury)was very professional,approachable and solution-focused. Our sale progressor Lilly Mary went that extra mile to ensure that everything post offer went smoothly through to exchange. We would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use Halls again in the future:)

I got was from Lilly Mary, especially on the day of our move. We run into trouble on the M54 Motorway, and she went above and beyond and step up and sorted our keys out for us as we could not make it to the Estate Agent to collect the key, she got her colleague Charles to sort it for us and even call me at 8:30pm to make sure we manage to get into the house which was really lovely and caring for our well being. She needs to be rewarded for her hard effort on making sure we got in our house on the day as we had a terrible journey from Bedfordshire to Shrewsbury as we had left at 2pm and did not arrive till 6pm.

This would have so easily been a 5* review. We forgave the agent for not turning up to the first viewing, and the second viewing being messed up - afterall we wanted to buy the house!

We put 2 offers in but we have not sold so understood that the vendors would not take the property off the market right now. We were told there had not been much interest so we were assured that if anything changed they would let us know.

We reduced the price on our house to try and get it sold quickly as the house Halls were selling was the only one we were interested in.

I spoke to them last week to update them and they assured me again that they would call me if anything happened - especially as we said we would look at getting a bridging loan if necessary so as not to lose it.

Imagine my heartbreak this evening when I went onto Rightmove and saw the property had gone SSTC -no phone call, no email, not a word!

Pretty disgusting if you ask me! Having spend 20 years in the property industry, I have never treated a buyer in this way - especially when I know it is the only house they want and how much it means.

It is a disservice to the vendors too - they are meant to get the best price for them and knowing there was someone else interested don't you think a call would have been the correct thing to do?

I am so disappointed but also disgusted that this is the way they treat people. Would certainly never entertain purchasing through them again.

Thank you Halls for wasting our time and our estate agents time as my property is now coming off the market because you could not make the promised call and give me an opportunity to secure the property.

The whole team at the Oswestry branch were just fantastic, I couldn’t recommend them more highly. We bought and sold through the same branch and they were faultless, so helpful, friendly and supportive. Steph, Colleen and Jack who were working with us in particular could not have done more - thanks guys, we are very happy!

Halls Shrewsbury/Oswestry were a class act. We were kept updated and informed at all times. They helped us complete whilst in a particularly complex chain. We're incredibly grateful to Steph, in particular.

I would thoroughly recommend Halls (Wellington) to anybody thinking of selling their house. As well as being very professional they are a really nice bunch of people who go above and beyond in trying to help, Matt even offered to cut my lawn! At all times they kept me informed of anything happening.

We were the buyers and Stephanie contacted us as soon as we put the offer in to say she help us with anything. Stephanie was fantastic, she got back to us straight away with any queries and chased things up for us in a very assertive way! If we were going to sell, we would 100% go with Halls because they are amazing with both the sellers and buyers and made everything as smooth as possible.

Mine was a particularly difficult and drawn out sale (6 months!). Lilly was amazing throughout, lots of chasing solicitors and my buyers. She kept me updated at all times. Although Lilly must have been frustrated she remained professional throughout…we got there in the end!!

Over the last 21 years we have also rented our last two homes through Halls which have also been extremely well managed. In our opinion, halls are the best estate agents in Shropshire and mid Wales.
