This company is a total scam. They have nothing but wasting people's time and money. I paid the deposit although they showed me an incomplete unfurnished room and the only thing they insisted on without giving the services was to pay the rent beforehand. with no contract and not even mentioning the unit number! I asked for deposit refund but they said it takes 21 days! Just counting the days to get my money back. NEVER EVER TRUST THIS GROSS COMPANY.

Harrington housing has cheated me of my money! They have very bad customer service. When I call, send emails, countless, they never answer. They only answer you if you’re a new customer. Once you’ve signed the lease and start renting with them, they start mistreating you and not caring. I can never trust them with my safety anymore. When I had a major security issue, they did not answer me or attend to my problem and when they did, it was too late and they showed no remorse. Don’t rent with them! It’s a mindful warning.
At the start of the lease, they promised to refund my deposit. It’s been over 3 months that I’ve moved out and been asking for the deposit. They still haven’t given me. Harrington housing, return my deposit!

Continue to live in construction chaos, lack of sanitary hygiene in building; property not taken care of at 30 Charles St East in Toronto. The building currently smells fowl due to sewage overflow/backup. No air conditioning. Sewage water. What more can a tenant ask for.

love living here. I also want to acknowledge Alex, our residence coordinator at 110 Wall because he's been very helpful and genuinely friendly since I moved in. Whether it’s handling issues or just being a welcoming presence, Alex goes above and beyond and it’s clear he cares about residents here which really makes a difference. I feel like I'm home.

Great location. Staff is amazing. And it’s a safe neighbourhood.

The accommodation is very nice.
The front desk is very nice and mainly Alex, he takes cares of the tenant in a very impressive way, is very responsive, nice and professional. You can always trust him If you need him

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I paid an accommodation in dc via the agent Serra and on the day I should move in I receive an email that the booking is cancel. I was stuck with no where to go. I have been sending emails for refund nobody bothers to answer me

I took a lease at Harrington Housing for a year. Hands down the biggest mistake of my life. If you can live with mice, no walls or doors, and an especially crappy management team, by all means you should. Students usually rent at HH considering their lower price point. However, it's much more advisable to live either in a different location (rosslyn is one metro stop away and offers safer, better and cheaper amenities) or find shared rooms in columbia plaza with a bunch of students. Regardless, HH was a horrible experience and this is coming from a person that is extremely accommodating and hard to aggravate. HH management is bottom tier trash and has a space specially booked in hell, with mice, no walls, and no doors.

**Review: Avoid Garneau Tower by Harrington Housing at All Costs**

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Garneau Tower in Edmonton, managed by Harrington Housing. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that their service and organization were severely lacking. There was no one to greet me upon arrival, and I was left waiting for several hours before anyone assisted me.

The condition of my room was appalling. It was completely filthy, with dirty sheets on the bed. Additionally, I found myself without any basic kitchen supplies—no pots, pans, cutlery, or even a glass. It took an exasperating four days to receive these essential items.

Initially, Sari, the former manager, was extremely kind and tried his best to resolve the numerous issues, despite the overall disorganization and poor management of Harrington Housing. However, when Matthew took over, the situation worsened significantly. He was rude, inconsiderate, and unpleasant to deal with. I had contractual problems that he ignored for days, and my emails went unanswered.

Moreover, there was a blatant disregard for internal rules, and no effort was made to ensure the cleanliness of the living spaces by the tenants. To add insult to injury, upon my departure, they falsely claimed that I had not cleaned my room, withholding $150 from my deposit. This is absolutely disgraceful.

In summary, avoid Garneau Tower and Harrington Housing at all costs. This organization is solely focused on making money, with no regard for providing decent living conditions or proper service. Stay away.

Not a good experience
They at first they ignored my messages to return the deposit.
After I started taking legal action they returned the deposit after deducting 150 giving me a report. I tried to reach them again they ignored my calls.

Harrington housing is very non-responsive. They post their rooms on Facebook marketplace using a made up or fake Facebook account to refer to one of the Harrington Housing staff. I had looked up the laws for landlord management duties and tenants and will be reporting to the government to do an investigation on this company very soon for unethical business practices.

BEWARE - UTTER SCAMMERS.

Incompetence of the highest level. Took money for a booking fee and a deposit and then tried to pretend the rate that they advertise the rooms at was an error. Once they have your deposit the price of the room increases. They claim this is a 'server error' but continue to advertise at the original price to trap others.

The rooms in London also have no locks or privacy. The individual spaces are only separated by book cases.

I have a bad experience with them and still having one , no AC for hot weather , wrong house listed and wrong room given , leaking roof for $1100+ thinking of reporting them to the government for super high rent
No storage for 3 people, no ventilation , windows bring in insect. Money getting wasted for no reason at all and it unfair me cruel
Two laundry that is charged as high as 2:00 for a wash for a whole building ,

Terrible. My room doesn’t have a door or a lock, communication with staff is terrible, I have rats in my kitchen and I just moved in, the walls are so thin and basically non existent, gym is run down and most equipment don’t work and staff are rude. I want to move out but I apparently can’t because I don’t meet the requirements. This is a deal with the devil.
