Nice boots but...
Nice boots, well packaged and arrived quickly. However the checkout system charged me twice! Fair enough, they did call me but said it would be a week or two before I got my money refunded!!! They're quick enough to take your money but not so great at refunding even when they admit a fault with their system. Not a very good first impression at all!

Bought and stored away for winter season .Leaked really bad at seams from first wear. Harry Hall refuse to exchange accuse of washing it when it’s just been worn for couple of times / offering a £15 voucher toward a new one ! Jokers and bad customer service to boot . DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ARE HAPPY TO BE LEFT SOAKING WET UNDERNEATH THE COAT WHERE ALL THE SEAMS RUN AND THEN FREEZING COLD IN MIDDLE OF A FIELD LIKE I WAS . Once they have your hard earned cash they don't care . Will never buy a thing from them again .
Oh and Harry Hall - please don't reply like you are concerned cause your customer service was of no help and just accused me of washing the jacket ( which i didn't as it wasn't dirty I had only been in the pelting rain ! You offered £15 off next purchase which is another joke!!!!!!

Absolutely shocking refund decision on…
Absolutely shocking refund decision on x2 damaged rugs.
One fleece sheet ripped from the seams within 1 week which I never reported until a turnout rug came in after 1 use and both buckles on the front were so thin(metal)they completely bent. I sent photos and requested a refund and it was rejected saying there must of been *outside force*. Absolute joke of a company. £80 for a rug to be worn once. Avoid at all costs, cheap and badly made
rugs.

Purchased a pair of faulty Denton Boots 2024
Purchased a pair of Denton Boots 7/1/2024, received a couple of days later, looked ok, but when tried on the right boot hurt around heel area. Tried them on again a few days later, still hurt and caused a blister to right heel area. 12th Jan 2024, mother-in-law passed away unexpectedly in care home, body not released as might be an autopsy.
Absolute nightmare over coming weeks, cancelling pension etc, total confusion until March, body finally released funeral takes place.
April 2024 my father who is in care in Scotland, with Alzheimer’s health begins to detoriate, struggling to walk and hold conversations. Lives thrown into turmoil again, up and down to Glasgow regularly, his estate needs winding up quickly, his health continues to detoriate day by day now. House sold, my father passes 2/8/2024, solicitors, banks etc, funeral 24/8/2024.
Paperwork etc continues for week after week, I must attend various offices in Scotland as signature must be made in person.
Finally everything completed by the beginning of Nov, whilst tidying up at home come across Denton Boots again, I’d totally forgotten about them, decided to try them on again, the right boot still hurts, walked across to Village Hall and back, in total, approx 100 yards, right heel area in agony. Take off boots, right heel area cut and bleeding, decide something is seriously wrong with right boot, send email via Harry Hall website form, no reply received, so contact Harry Hall via phone-call, told to take photos of boots and send them via internet
explaining what was wrong and why it was 11 months before complaining. Mailed photos and explained about our family deaths taking up our all of our time and that the boots had been forgotten about. We received a reply the next day, Harry Hall didn’t require the boots to be returned and they would give a payment of £6.66 along with a goodwill gesture of a £30 voucher to be spent with Harry Hall. They also suggested that we could sell the boots online in order to recoup further funds, this despite the right boot having an obvious manufacturing fault, which obviously seems to sit well with Harry Hall uk but not I’m afraid with us.
Absolutely disgraceful Customer Service, no understanding and certainly zero empathy
We’ve had the right boot inspected by someone who worked with footwear in the past, it seems the right boot is not supporting my foot at the ankle, causing the boot to collapse at the ankle, hence why it folds over whilst the left boot stands on its own.

Slow expensive delivery and poor customer service.
I was very disappointed with the customer service from Harry Hall. I ordered a product on Tuesday (admittedly 15 minutes past the 2pm deadline) and paid £7.95 (so not cheap at all!) for next day delivery. The parcel arrived at 8pm on Friday night. Technically this is within their policy as their next day delivery can take two days, and I was past the 2pm deadline on the Tuesday but I think it was very poor. I requested a refund on the £7.95 delivery cost but was not given one, and did not find the tone of the customer service email to be friendly or helpful at all - they were also very slow to respond!

Tracey turned a negative experience around 👌
I needed a copy of the public liability cover to attend an event however it wasn't showing in the online portal.
I had contacted them via the online 'Contact Us' to request confirmation of cover be sent to me however had not heard anything for over 3 days.
I called this morning and spoke with Tracey.
She tried to resend my Membership notification but it didn't come through correctly.
She took ownership of the situation and advised she would raise it with IT.
She called me back an hour later with a solution.
10/10 for Tracey!
Would have been 5* if I could have downloaded the document I needed from the portal in the first place but I'm impressed with how Tracey took ownership and delivered a resolution.

Huge deduction on return amount.
I ordered a polo belt, on sale, when it arrived it was too small so I returned the belt and as they don’t do exchanges, I had to order another separately. Each order cost me £20.90 to include shipping, in their refund - knowing that I was reordering - they deducted
£8.51! I understood that I should have been entitled to a full refund due to the belt being unsuitable. I won’t buy from them again. Very disappointed.
