We recently ordered a new suite of furniture from Harvey Norman Fonthill.
Gareth was very helpful, informative and patient throughout the process, and was able to answer any questions that we had to ensure we got exactly what we needed. We are looking forward to delivery day!!

OUT OF THE ORDINARY EFFICIENCY

Great guys!!! Delivered all of the products in the required rooms.

We bought a mobile phone from Fonthill store. The information provided by the salesperson was incorrect regarding one of the phone's back-display feature. We trusted the salesperson knowledge and went ahead with our purchase. However after configuring the phone, it was realized that, that specific feature was missing in the phone version which we bought.
When this issue was addressed to manager , he said that if you want to replace the phone, you will have to pay a stock-in fee which is 20% of the total amount, meaning they were charging us for a mistake which we didn't make. This service is unacceptable. The staff should be trained more and the company should go a bit beyond to help customers in such situations.

Good customer service

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Fernando in the Fonthill store was an absolute gentleman to deal with. He has a wonderful personality and was incredibly helpful in guiding us through choosing the right sofa.

I was a little concerned that the sofa might be difficult to fit through our front door, but the two delivery guys were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they had the sofa in and assembled within minutes, and they even took away all the packaging and rubbish afterwards.

Excellent customer service both in store and on delivery. Highly recommended.

We were assisted by Bruno, who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly very passionate about TVs. He explained everything in a simple and clear way, which really helped us choose the right model for our needs. Overall, excellent service and a very positive buying experience. Highly recommended.

The lads were quick and efficient. They called me in the morning to let me know what time they would be there and they didn't let me down. They were very careful delivering the furniture upstairs.

I love Harvey Norman — the team there is always in a great mood and willing to help with absolutely everything.

Got an LG TV. Jake did everything he could to make me comfortable, inform me about all TVs I was interested in and get me the best deal possible. I am definitely coming back again.

We loved Jobe’s customer service. He was patient and explained everything to us in detail. We didn’t close the deal that day, but we came back two weeks later and he still remembered us.
The mattress was delivered super quickly, and we’re still waiting for the bed frame, which is still being manufactured.
The mattress is wonderful, super comfortable — thanks to Jobe’s recommendation, we couldn’t have chosen better.

The shop was quiet when I made my initial purchase. Super busy when I returned later to upgrade the item.
Both times, your staff were super friendly and very efficient.
The Scandinavian guy at the LoveHub(?) desk, in particular. Very helpful.

The professionalism and helpfullness and courtesy of the delivery driver was excellent. Texting their approximate time of delivery. Extremely helpful.

I would suggest you change your advertisement on your website regarding you're click and collect service,it is misleading.
It says you will keep giving updates about the order from start to finish,I never got any until 17:45 that my order is ready for collection,15mins before you close.I ordered 12:00,did not get any update,I rang and spoke to one of your staff,not really helpful as I was only answered,"I am with a customer,you will get an update"...

To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding a tablet  purchase at your Fonthill store on March 3rd, 2025, and the subsequent poor customer service I experienced today. On May 13th 2026, I purchased a Samsung S10 Ultra tablet as a gift for my daughter, who has autism. This was an extremely expensive tablet. The sales representative, Jayant, advised me to purchase additional insurance coverage for €200. I explicitly asked him multiple times to clarify the terms, as this tablet is a vital tool for my daughter's daily needs. Jayant stated that after the standard 12-month manufacturer warranty, this €200 policy would provide full coverage for any accidental damage or theft over a 2-year period. Relying on his assurances, I paid the €200.Unfortunately, my daughter recently dropped the tablet, resulting in a broken screen. When I returned to the Fonthill store today to arrange the repair under the insurance policy, I spoke with the store manager, Paul McDonald.

Mr. McDonald’s handling of the situation was entirely unprofessional. He spoke over me, refused to listen to the facts of my situation, and completely dismissed my concerns. Instead of addressing the misleading information provided by his sales staff at the point of purchase, he offered no assistance or resolution. I was left feeling deeply let down by your staff's conduct.I was sold a policy under false pretenses, and my daughter is now without her primary means of expression, communication and routine, which is causing her immense distress.I expect Harvey Norman to review this case, honor the terms guaranteed to me at the point of sale, and arrange a swift repair or replacement of the tablet. I also expect the customer service approach of the Fonthill management team to be addressed.I look forward to your prompt response and a swift resolution to this matter.

Unfortunately the first tv I received had a smashed screen. Guys in Fonthill did a excellent job. They've replaced the TV...no question asked.

Great company to work with. Helpful staff. Great selection. Great pricing. Services are so good, if it’s a store manager ringing with order updates to the delivery drivers themselves. Great customer experience.
