Wow what customer service from Audi Cobham. You call up and book a test drive. Get ready and almost leaving the house and get a call back saying we can't give you a test drive in the SQ5. I said why what's changed? We never had it available to try as a manager is using it? So I ask why are you advertising it for sale on auto trader. It's what we do the guy goes, we can take your details and call you back in Feb when it will be ready for sale. I was polite as not the salespersons fault but was clear as first time trying to buy from Audi that this isa farce and is very poor practise. Anyway said no problem will not by an Audi now. You hear of the state of the car industry but frankly I am surprised they sell anything with such practises. The issue was over they don't have customer insurance on this car, then why advertise for sale?! Complete waste of time. Wonder what other practises they have that are "so customer friendly". The salesman was polite and apologetic just poor practise either by the branch, Harwoods or Audi. Anyway plenty of other of car firms and brands to buy from. Just thought others should be aware. Probably will never buy an Audi ever again.

We are disappointed to feel the need to leave a negative review for Harwoods Audi Southampton.i personally collected a 2 year old Audi Q5 from the dealership on a miserable weekday in December. As it was raining heavily,the car was presented to me in a covered storage area. The point being was that it was difficult to see the detail of the interior of the car due to the poor light. superficially it all looked fine, there were scratches on the seat backs which I had mentioned that I’d seen on the photos prior to agreeing a price but noticed on collection day that no effort had been made to deal with that issue.
nevertheless I had traveled 4 hours on a train to collect the car and decided to accept the seat back issue. However, due to the subdued lighting, I was unable to notice how grubby the dark coloured interior of the car was. It subsequently became clear that a dog/ dogs had travelled in the the rear passenger area and the luggage area, dogs had likely caused the scratching to the seat backs .We contracted a local car valeting service to carryout a full clean. They reported that the car was so dirty inside they had to go over it twice and consequently needed to increase the quoted cost!
Harwood Audi were given the opportunity to explain themselves and reimburse us our costs, they refused to refund the cost but suggested that if we were to return the car to them they would have cleaned it properly. As I explained earlier we are a 4-5 hour drive away from the Southampton dealership.
There should be no reason the us to feel the need to give this dealership a negative review, the staff were very attentive and friendly both during the negotiation and on collection day. But surely it is fundamental for ANY car dealership to prepare all used vehicles for sale? The car was a low mileage 2 year old example of a premium brand at a prestige Audi approved dealership. We did get an apology to be fair, but also got an invoice for £130 for cleaning the car .
The experience has left us feeling disappointed and has taken the shine off what should and could have been an exciting process.

Bought a Jaguar F Type from Harwoods in Chichester, December 2025.
Unfortunately we lived a four hour drive from the garage, so difficult to study or drive the car prior to actually going to buy it. Dealing with Paul was great, he did a walk around video, in poor weather, to talk us through the car as best as possible.
We collected the car and drove it home with no issues. Now after having had time with the vehicle and having had a good look, I was a little disappointed at the condition of alignment of the RHF wing, this has obviously had some accident damage in the past although not recorded anywhere, and it appears quite rusty (surface) on the steel parts underneath, agreeably it is five years old, but still a little disappointing for a very expensive vehicle. Perhaps these issues should have been mentioned as Harwoods say that they are fully inspected prior to sale. Having said that I wouldn't be afraid to buy from Harwoods again.

Bought a used Defender P400e from this dealership, overall very friendly but their Aftersales isn't great; the back door handle wasn't working and the 13 amp lead was missing despite being in the photos. Managed to get the door handle sorted FOC at my local dealership but still waiting for the lead which I need for work and its been over 8 weeks, keep promising to post it, they dont so I have to chase!

We had a look today at some cars on the forecourt at Crawley Harwood's as we are looking to purchase a newer Audi at some point.
A staff member came out to ask us if we needed any help, but I got the impression this was actually because they were wanting to go home. We asked a couple of questions and then respectfully moved our car so they could close the gates. Whilst my husband was moving my car the employees did not realise I was still standing looking at the cars. They were laughing at the questions my husband had asked and were then rude about my car. Shame as we will now not be buying a car from Crawley!

4 years ago, I had a very bad experience with the Croydon Harwoods service centre, however I am amazed at how much their service has improved. Thanks to Olly who made my experience a remarkable one, from booking my car in for services to being given a courtesy car and effective communication and update from Olly who called me to provide update on the service and also called once it was completed. 4 years ago, the communication was awful and the customer was the one having to chase for update. The only downside is they could have put my car to charge overnight since it’s in the terms that I bring the courtesy car back with exact same amount of fuel. With my new experience, I will definitely recommend and convince those with previous experience that everything has changed from the customer service to providing prompt updates to customer.

Despite the delivery delay caused by the LR IT Hack, I was regularly updated by the Sales Executive Marc Nicholls, as to the revised delivery date and progress during the recovery phase of the IT Hack, of my companies new Defender 90 X D350 Hard Top Order. I took delivery on the 19th December and it was worth the wait, its a top tier commercial vehicle with a thoroughbred on and off road capability an ideal addition to enhance our rural site delivery capability on Solar / BESS system projects.

Kam was great the whole process was easy from start to finish. The car has had a couple of niggles which are being sorted by Audi.
My only observation would be for someone as a first time purchaser of an EV there should be so
E form of handover pack around charging and useumg chartering stations. Who knew there were so may different suppliers of ev charging stations. I would have also like a bit more of a handover re using some of the car functionality.

I just took delivery of a loveley used A5 Sportback at Southampton Audi . Ellie Maybank looked after my every needs. No Top Man suit and shiney shoes, just an honest helpful young lady who went the extra mile to make the purchase and the experience enjoyable.

Recently bought my new 2025 year Audi Q3 from Harwoods at Chandlers Ford Southampton.
The sales team of Becky Hitces, Brad and the back staff team were very helpful in putting together the spec that I wanted and the financing incentives to enable me to purchase the car.
It arrived ahead of schedule and was well prepared.
Being a new / remodelled Q3 getting use to the differences between my 2022 Q3 and the new model has been challenging but it’s a great car and I’m very pleased with the purchase.
Harwoods Chandler’s Ford are highly recommended.

Terrible customer service. When you complain to the nominated contact on their website, they do little more than pass your complaint back to the people you are complaining about.
Car damaged on three separate occasions. I believe, but can’t prove, they purposefully avoided warranty work. I can’t prove it because the Audi cam they took on the last visit before warranty ran out was cut short and missed parts of the car. Next visit i have a cracked and corroded stainless steel exhaust, the car did little mileage between visits.
They simply do not care about your business. Even after complaining one of the cars went in for warranty work. One day job turned into 6 with no communication or update. Had to constantly chase.
Avoid Harwood’s if you can and go to another franchise. They simply do not care about your car or your business.

Kam Rana was incredibly helpful, always available to answer any questions I had, and thanks to him I’ve now driven away in my dream car. Poor customer service left for 30 mins before being seen after I reminded them I was there. Car not washed as part of service. Lost my key for 20 minutes.
Some check in staff rude and entitled. Car ready for collection 2 hrs later than advised.
Not as bad as Sidcup JLR but they certainly need a kick up the arse in customer service without the attitude.
Customerd can and will walk so buck em up children!

Really good prompt communications throughout the sales and financing processes, senior people happy to step in when my sales person away training in Germany, dealt effectively with a couple of challenges in the distribution chain, understood the needs of my situation and responded to it well, and the car was of course immaculate on delivery. All round great service. Could not fault them at all.

Did these people ever think that by using deceptive tactics before you've even engaged with them, that it might put questionmarks over the rest of their business practices? The fact that they keyword stuff their ads on Autotrader to fish for leads just tells you exactly what kind of business this is.
Thankfully this is a massive red flag so I was able to rule them out early in my car shopping journey.

Following an extremely disappointing experience at a local garage in Tonbridge - a salesperson was dismissive when the car we enquired about was no longer for sale … fair enough.
We saw something that peaked our interest, you know that feeling when it becomes exciting and are very much attracted to it? We asked a few questions and asked if we could look inside, the chap completely disregarded our attention.
We wholly understood the vehicle wasn’t available, he obviously thought we were time wasters …. Mmm
Following our huge disappointment from our local garage, we did a quick online search and headed to CRAWLEY … wow wow wow !! What fabulous, friendly and superb representative we were met with. An extremely friendly gentleman, Marc met us. Not only was he a thoroughly lovely chap, his time and knowledge was exemplary! What a huge assess he is to the team.
The very fact that we enjoyed Marc’s company & expertise … we found ourselves purchasing a new car …
