We have just had a new fire installed with Heat Matters and we are extremely happy with it and the entire experience was a pleasure, from dealing with Ben in the showroom, going to the unit with Dermot to see the different beams and both of them working in the house. Its clear to see they both take pride in their work. they sheeted up the entire living room and were very clean. We were surprised that they managed to get it all done in a day and the workmanship was fantastic. They stayed after they had finished to watch the fire in use to make sure they were happy with it. All in all highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about replacing their fire.

We had been considering a log burner for some time and Heat Matters were recommended to us by a friend. The experience from start to finish has been excellent, from the showroom and survey right through to lighting the burner. Dermot and Ben are rightly proud of the business and it shows. The quality of work was outstanding even down to properly sheeting up and cleaning up afterwards, we really cannot fault their work and when we had a question concerning the fire they got back to us straight away and were genuinely keen to make sure we were happy. We would recommend them without hesitation and will certainly use them for maintenance in future.

Dermot is absolutely brilliant and runs a fantastic company. The quality of work and effort he puts in is second to none. He is extremely knowledgeable and competent , excellent attention to detail and customer satisfaction.I’d highly recommend to friends and family and I personally wouldn’t use anyone else in the future. From start to finish Dermot guides and advises through the entire process. Going above and beyond to come back a few days later when issues (nothing to do with Dermot) prevented the job from being completed on the day… Dermot’s passion and professionalism is second to none!!! Clean, Tidy, Efficient, Experienced, knowledgeable, Polite, Respectful… Could not recommend Heat Matters (Dermot) enough.

I recently used Heat Matters for a wood burning stove based on the glowing review from my neighbours. I have to say, couldn’t be happier and they were really helpful with impartial advice, great communication and paid great attention to keeping things tidy during the installation. The finished job looks perfect and great value, wholeheartedly recommend!

I enquired with a few companies prior to getting in touch with Dermot. The materials and brands of stoves used by them just didn’t compare to the products used by Heat matters. Professionalism shown from day 1, to visiting the showroom, survey and installation. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work. 5 stars all day. Highly recommend

Fantastic and no pressure pre sales advice at the showroom (worth visiting to see range of fires) and site survey then installation of our new wood burner. Very very hard working guys and cleaned up after installation.

Every now and then you deal with a company and their team, and you are blown away by the amazing service. Well Heat Matters is that company! From my initial contact with Ben, to a visit to the showroom, where I met Dermot and was offered everything from a coffee to a rum & coke 😁, and finally the install of our Hunter Halo Radial stove this week, I cannot express how impressed I have been by Dermot and Ben’s knowledge, professionalism and service. We will highly recommend Heat Matters to friends and family and would definitely use them again in future.

Went to the showroom 6/7 weeks ago where Ben helped us choose our wood burning stove,Dermot came and surveyed and they both came back to fit it. They were both fantastic they put covers over everything as they were drilling a large hole in wall for the flu,they even sent me a quick clip of it working.
Ben came back the following day to give us a demonstration of how to work it. We are absolutely delighted with it,a big thank you from us, you guys were fantastic attention to detail is amazing, i can highly recommend you guys you are fantastic.

These guys are highly recommended! Very professional, very thorough, very concerned to do the best possible job for the customer. The installation was carried out with minimal disruption, and we are delighted with the outcome. Despite a lot of rubble, the room was left in immaculate condition. Dermot and Ben really know their stuff, and provided excellent customer service.

Definitely recommend. Excellent job completed. Very professional. Cleared up after themselves and very tidy. Would definitely get them back to do any other jobs in the future.

Dermot was fantastic from the start. Gave us great advice at the showroom whilst appreciating our ideas. Both Dermot and Ben were fantastic on the day. Got everything done in one go and left us with a wonderful new fireplace that we’re very happy with.

We had first rate work completed by Heat Matters today to install a Hunter Herald British made wood burning stove.
All the work was carried out cleanly and super efficiently from sweeping the chimney, dropping the lining, fitting cowls to existing chimney pots and removing the old open fire.
We visited the Heat Matters showroom some weeks ago which has a wide choice of working stoves. It’s an impressive showroom and well worth a visit. Dermot really knows his trade and is a most personable, straightforward and knowledgeable professional to deal with. The quality of his work and his attention to detail is notable and clearly important to him in terms of customer service. The quote for the work was also very competitive. We wanted someone who would size up the job and do everything from start to finish - and that is what we got.
We cannot recommend Dermot and his company highly enough. Dermot is both HETAS registered and a Gas Safe engineer and as such is on the Competent Persons Register to certify all the work he undertakes.

After meeting Dermot and Ben as they recently opened a new showroom next to my workplace and chatting with them. Then made the mistake of informing my wife about said shop 😂 we have just had a Contura fitted in our recently modified conservatory and love it. You can not fault these guys absolutely brilliant professionals from start to finish they put a 12 hr shift in to complete the work in 1 day. Could not recommend these guys enough, also been at the end of phone etc to answer any queries 100% meticulous workmanship love it. Next time we have money I AM having my Harley Davidson and not telling wife

Dermot and Ben installed a Contura wood stove into my newly renovated conservatory, which is now open from kitchen. Dermot guiding us through the whole process from designing overall positioning of stove and flu pipe, choice of stove, slate bed/base etc. installation completed yesterday and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Zero mess, great handover and advice on how to get the most from it, maintenance etc. 100% recommend the Heat Matters team. Thank you Dermot and Ben 🙌

I needed the job doing quite quickly and Dermot was available on the date agreed.
Both Dermot and Ben were very conscientious and did a fantastic job. All the work completed in a day. Great company that takes pride in the work that they carry out.
