I can only echo the other reviews - do not hire !
James was paid a deposit-for bedroom furniture- in August 2025 - he promised to start in September but it was December before he did a days work to fit the carcass. He was to return to fit doors but never has - lots of broken promises, excuses etc .
Like a lot of people we are now having to hire another joiner - we will probably be out of pocket and have to go down the small claims court route . He seems to be refusing to return any money according to other reviews- essentially this is unethical and criminal behaviour. I desperately do not want any one else to fall foul of this man .

Avoid this company at all costs. We paid a deposit in July for wardrobes scheduled for August, and they managed only a single day of ‘work’ in September before abandoning the job entirely. Since then, it has been nothing but stupid excuse after stupid excuse, which is completely unacceptable. We’ve now had to hire another joiner to redo the entire project from scratch. The company agreed to refund my deposit, yet even that is now being dragged out with repeated delays yet again!

This level of gross incompetence and disregard is utterly disgraceful and profoundly unprofessional. James has been negligent and irresponsible throughout our experience

Do not hire.
We agreed to hire James to fit our bedroom wardrobes. A 2 day job supposed to be done in July, 6 months on after ignoring our calls, messages and emails on and off, resetting dates and not turning up, we are left with half finished wardrobes, having paid him thousands and having to find a new joiner. Do not hire.

Do not use this company. Deposit paid in July for wardrobes in August. One day of work done in Sept, and since then repeated excuses for not finishing the work. My bedroom is ruined and I have now been forced to use another joiner to redo the entire job. He is now delaying repayment of the deposit.

I agreed to a quote and paid 50% of the total cost upfront. After repeatedly chasing for an installation date, I was finally given 4 November. A few days before, I emailed to confirm the installation time, only to be told the booking was cancelled. Since then, I have contacted him multiple times for an update, but I have received no response and the wardrobes have still not been installed.

I selected Hendry Installations due to the good reviews I had read.
I arranged a quote. I agreed a date and time. I told James I would only be available that day up until a certain time and was assured he would be there before that. 20 mins after that time I got a text to say he was running late.
That really should have been my first clue but I decided to give him a chance and arranged another time for a quote. I was happy with the price and decided to go ahead.
I paid half the price upfront and James emailed me the date of installation.
On that date I waited and waited but nobody showed up. I contacted James who said he had double booked.
Due to such poor service I cancelled.
Not the service I would expect from a professional company

Amazing job professionally executed at a competitive price. Wardrobes have transformed the bedroom.

James fitted our wardrobes and did such a great job we asked him to build us a media wall. Our media wall is a definite talking point when anyone enters our home as it’s absolutely stunning.
