We got our beautiful girl back in April and feel incredibly lucky to have such a gorgeous pup with such an amazing temperament. We put a deposit down on Beau when she was just two weeks old abs were instantly added to a WhatsApp group with the other owners. Being sent regular photos and videos of the pups made the process so exciting and enjoyable, particularly for my 4 year old who received regular videos from Terry’s daughter. The fact the pups were socialised with children from day one was so important for us and has meant Beau is so gentle with both of our other (human) girls. Tonight I watched as my one year old handed my 8 month old pup pieces of chicken breast and she was unbelievably gentle.
Throughout the process Terry was so helpful and nothing was too much for him. From seeing the pups in their family home and meeting Whisper and Hershey, it was so obvious how loved the puppies were and how well looked after they are every step of the way. Genuinely couldn’t be happier with the process of with our girl.

I am incredibly impressed with the service and puppy we received from Hershcoco Kennels. Bella is a truely amazing dog, beautiful & from an excellent line.

I can't give more than 5 points, I wish I could, we lost our older Labrador and wanted a 2nd. We considered going back to Terry, but my Mum wanted one, 2 people at worked wanted one, brother in law, best mate etc. All of them wanting one based of falling in love with Bella, so we ended up going down the breeding route. This is when I truely realised how much knowledge, experience, astronomical cost for vets and food and buckets of time cleaning. Even though I was working against Terry business interests, he was so helpful and provided me so much knowledge about the breeding game - not everything on the web is true... This was through the entire process - from mating until they left the house to go to their new owners. He even offerred to drive up mine at 3am to assist with the whelping. I think I have best friends who perhaps wouldn't have gone those lengths.

You may pay a little bit more via Terry, but I will counter that with the following ;
i) You get what you pay for - Terry's breeding line is very very good, he does a miticulous review of stud dogs lines and can talk (literally) to you for 20 minutes about ratios of colours from different studs
ii) Doing it properly costs a lot - I know this first hand, ensuring a good stream of protein from mating to the start of independent feeding is very very costly, especially if you have 8+ puppies. Skipping this and providing less than premium food is a way to save money in the process, Terry doesn't do this.
iii) A good dog will be a member of your family for 10+ years - skimping on a quality dog to save the cost of a couple of tanks of petrol - definitely not recommended.

The follow up support you'll need if this is your first dog is all included. You'll get support from the other owners too.

We are now experienced in breeding, but Bella is due to be spayed soon. Next dog I get will be via Terry. Don't look anywhere else...

Terry, Clare & the kids make for a genuinely incredible experience when searching for a four-legged family member.
My wife, boys & I searched for a long time to find the ‘right’ puppy for our family, and Terry & the gang were perfect at making sure we were supported, informed & updated with regular ‘pupdates’ when getting our beautiful choc lab boy with them.

They couldn’t have been more welcoming & supportive with what they knew was a really important time for our family, and their attentiveness made it all the more special.

The continued support & advice, via WhatsApp, after we got back home and moved through his puppy milestones was a game changer for us, as new puppy parents.

We feel very lucky to of found our dear Hetty . A beautiful, friendly , loyal chocolate Labrador. She is also mischievous which adds to her charm.
Terry and his family are conscientious breeders . Insuring the dogs are healthy , friendly,beautiful examples of the breed . If i didn’t already have two dogs , I wouldn’t hesitate to get another . Any one looking for a responsible breeder should definitely look at Hershcoco Kennels .You wont be disappointed!

We got our family dog, Nala (a jet black goldador), from Terry. I searched for a long time to find a breeder who looked like he/she genuinely cared about their own dogs before choosing to buy while Hershey was still pregnant. Terry was fab throughout the whole process. He answered my (many and probably very silly) questions promptly and thoroughly. When the pups were born he literally couldn't wait to tell us and we got regular photos and videos of them all with Mum in the whelping room. He was incredibly patient when we agonised over which of the girls to choose at our first visit (and didn't seem to mind when it just became a big cuddle-fest!). Hershey herself is clearly a much loved family pet, as is Wispa, and they are both beautiful, warm and friendly animals. This shows in their off-spring too. Having recently met with some of the other pups from the litter it was clear that they are all kind-hearted gentle souls. The owners WhatsApp group that Terry set up and has remained a part of, has proved invaluable for sharing the trials and tribulations of puppy ownership and we have picked up some amazing tips from our fellow owners. Terry and his family will take care of the puppies as though they are their own until it is time for them to go to their forever home but he won't stop caring when they're gone!

We got our wonderful chocolate lab through Hershcoco. This was our first family dog, so we had absolutely tons of questions and were pretty nervous of the sorts of scams people come across. We were lucky enough to make it on to the shortlist for a litter of pups. Terry took the time to advise and reassure us every step of the way. We viewed and chose our pup at their family home and were absolutely assured she and mum were receiving expert living care from knowledgeable and ethically driven breeders. Our dog is happy, healthy and had wonderful genetics. We keep in touch with all the owners of the litter in the WhatsApp group set up for that purpose and Terry has advised us all and answered questions throughout. I could not recommend highly enough and if we ever get a second dog we'll be back!

Having bought a Goldador pup from Terry in early 2021, we have already been back in contact regarding the expansion of our dog family - There is no one else I would buy from given the outstanding temperament and intelligence of our boy Buddy. He is the sweetest, kindest, most gentle of souls. Terry answered so many of my questions (and I had a lot) both before the litter was born, after the litter was born, after we had selected our pup, and after we had picked him up. 6 months after that and we STILL get invaluable advice from Terry - It really shows that he is seeking to obtain a breed standard in each litter he produces. This, I feel, is the most responsible type of breeder to buy from. I also absolutely love the litter WhatsApp group - We have shared our excitement, our failures and our celebrations with all other pup owners from Buddy’s litter. This support group (which includes Terry) has been invaluable. The love and care that Terry and his family quite obviously have for their own dogs was clear from the beginning too - This made me confident in my pups welfare, and I truly believe that such a loving environment from day one has contributed to Buddy being the beautiful good natured dog that he is. Roll on 2023 for the next addition to our Hershcocokennels Goldador family! 🖤

We got our Goldador pup, Odin, from Terry in April 2021. Throughout the process Terry was fantastic. He was very happy to answer any questions we had, big or small. He was very forthcoming with details such as mum and dad's health and the environment the puppies were brought up in during their early weeks. He also set up a group for all the pawrents to join and gave us regular pupdates, including puppies first solid meal and bath etc. Since bringing Odin home, Terry has continued to provide valuable advice and support.
Odin is a wonderful addition to our family, after long walks he spends his evening curled up on the couch with us. Odin is somehow both the smartest and daftest dog we have ever met, and goes into every situation with boundless enthusiasm. He has a beautiful temperament, loves to play and gets along with everyone he meets. We couldn't imagine our lives without our gorgeous boy.
If we were to get another dog in the future we would definitely go with Terry.
