I had a confirmed Hertz reservation at the Guadalajara airport and proof it was active at pickup. Despite this, staff claimed it was canceled and refused to honor the rate. The only option offered was a vehicle at more than double the price, which we had no choice but to accept. Very frustrating experience and poor customer service. Would not recommend this location.

Am liebsten würde ich 0 Sterne geben. Ich hatte eine Reservierung und als ich dann das Auto abholen wollte sagte der Mann so: Nein wir haben gerade keine Autos ich muss mindestens 3h warten. Und zusätzlich wollte er mir auch noch eine Versicherung draufschlagen obwohl das nirgends steht dass das verpflichtend ist.
Wenn eine Versicherung notwendig ist soll das auch auf der Webseite angegeben werden und dass dann keine Autos zur Verfügung stehen obwohl man reserviert hast ist echt ein schlechter Service

Cobro de 600 pesos por regresar el carto con arena en la parte trasera,, la renta fue en Tepic y el carro lo lleve a Vallarta,,, jamas me habian hecho cargo por esta situacion,, la lavada de carro y aspirado entiendo es parte del servicio.

Cuestione donde en el contrato dice tal cosa, no existe,.solo un cargo "por sistena" que ellos consideraron.

Adicional, su numero de servicio a cliente y los de oficina mismo, jamas contestaron para darme solucion a otro tema.

Terrible dishonet practice. Adverstise one thing and deliver another. Absolute mickey mouse operation that disgraces an otherwise decent international brand.
Now in the lengthy process of trying to get a refund, possibly minus some trumped up fee.

I would give HERTZ through Avasa zero stars if I could. The issue is not that they have the worst process, but importantly, this is a VERY DISHONEST business. They will lie, add fees, and cheat. The manager, Lorena Michel, simply does not care. AVOID this place unless you enjoy being scammed.

Pésimo servicio, en Mexico ya las licencias son digitales y no te dicen que la debes presentar físicamente y debe coincidir el lugar de expedición de la licencia con tu INE o IFE Osea deben de ser expedidos en la misma ciudad o estado de la república y así como si nada te cancelan el auto una vez que estás en sus oficinas recogiéndolo. Tienen un sistema obsoleta y sin ninguna flexibilidad. No se lo recomiendo a nadie vayan a National donde no hay temas para rentar y trato amable!

El manejo de gasolina es confuso.

Te hacen cargo de gasolina y si lo entregas lleno el tanque , no te reembolsan el cargo y agregan otros cargos sin aclarar el concepto.
No volveré a rentar auto con Hertz, muy mala experiencia

El precio fue 4 veces más que pagado en el Internet par razón de tarjeta de pago.
Obtener el coche necesito más de 50 minutos

Al llegar al día siguiente, después de reservar un auto, se me informó que no había unidades disponibles. La razón que se me dio fue que realicé la reserva después de las 6:00 p.m.
Hubiera agradecido que me llamaran a primera hora de la mañana para informármelo y así evitar tener que trasladarme hasta la agencia. La persona en el mostrador fue amable al atenderme.
Espero que corrijan este tipo de situaciones para que futuros clientes no experimenten la misma situación.

Deceptive Insurance Charges – Avoid Hertz/AVASA Mexico
I was charged over $5,000 MXN for insurance I explicitly declined, and my father-in-law was charged over $4,000 MXN. Despite our clear refusal and confirmation from staff that the charges would be removed, they were not. Employees Marlon Ayvar Jaimes and Jose Cervantes Camacho knowingly misled us. This is unacceptable behavior and a breach of trust. I am a Hertz Gold Member and expected better. Avoid Hertz Mexico at all costs.

Two experiences with car rentals with Hertz in Mexico. In the first one, even hertz called me 3 times before my trip to confirm the reservation but arrived in Culiacan, Sinaloa to simply be told by the attendant at the Hertz desk that they did not have a car for us and forcing us to rent from another agency at double the price we had reserved. The second was being told that it was mandatory for me to purchase additional insurance that was not necessary, given that the rental agreement includes basic liability and my credit card covers property damage to the vehicle (CDL/LDL). Completely disreputable operation.

Pésimo servicio no tienen unidades

THEY WANT ME TO PAY A $10000 PESOS FOR THE INSURANCE FOR 3 DAYS(THE RENT WAS FOR $2500 PESOS) VERY EXPENSIVE, COSTUMER SERVICE THE WORST.

Si vas a rentar un auto con HERTZ y toda su concesión AVASA, piénsalo dos veces, revisa sus vehículos a la entrega, “me cobraron un parabrisas de 6mil en 10 mil 500”, revisa la letra chiquita de sus contratos, tuve muy mala respuesta de su que disque “Atención al Cliente” no te resuelven nada y todo es mediante correos, Cll center y su respuesta siempre es “Un miembro del equipo de atención a clientes revisará la solicitud y le enviará una respuesta personalizada”
No existe una oficina en CDMX que te resuelva las cosas, por eso revisa que RENTAS.

estafa total. cierras un alquiler online por un precio y cuando llegas te dicen que es más. recomiendo huir de esta gente. además no atienden a reclamaciones o quejas

I rented a car with this company…..
they told me what kind of car I would expect. I even received confirmation the day before my arrival at the aeroport at Mexico city, and as you can Imagine they gave a smaller car telling me thats what it happens when you rent a car in this web site !!
When I contacted economy booking, they told me to file a complaint on their website in order to be refunded: guess what I was never reimbursed after several calls and several emails trying to contact them!
They have cero customer service nobody answered me after that; nobody contacted me after that!
I lost my rental money and that day at the airport with no car to rent it was a nightmare trying to find another one with all my family waiting on the street!
Please listen to me don’t do it otherwise you will loose your money and they will give you something you never rented…..

Muy peligroso alquilar con Hertz en Ciudad de Mexico. Te dan los coches con placas (matrícula) de otros estados. Eso hace que todos los policías nada más salir te estén parando para pedir mordidas. Nos pararon hasta 5 veces en 1 día por motivos totalmente inventados y llegamos a pagar hasta 10.000 mxn (500€/USD) en total y porque nos quedamos sin más efectivo. Solo alquilen con empresas que les den placas de CDMX, sino van a perder mucho dinero y muy malas experiencias. También, la chica que nos atendió en la Terminal 1 fue muy grosera y nos estuvo metiendo miedo para que contratasemos seguros extra (literalmente nos dijo que hacia donde ibamos, San Miguel de Allende, nos podían asaltar facil por la carretera y habia tantos baches que las ruedas se ponchan y parten 100% de las veces. Obviamente no paso nada de eso). En general muy mala experiencia por todo.

So irresponsable company! Dont use it! The children's seat was not mounted but they never said it was not. They said that it was ready to use! We have been using the car and after many days we found out the seat was NOT mounted. We called costumer service and they said that the client should mount it. But we never got that information, on the contrary. They said the car was ready. They didnt want to take responsability for that. Do not use that company!

I rented a car and then I noticed they dropped their prices. I asked if I could book at the new price and they said sure just cancel the first rental and rebook. But i had to get a refund on the first rental. Well after dozens of emails they keep promising the refund but it never comes. They are liars and cheats. Stay away from them!!!!!

Confirmaron la reserva, te la cobran por anticipado y cuando llegas a la hora pactada, te dicen que no tendrán tu coche hasta 4 horas después de que lo pediste. O que te ofrecen un coche más chico manual. Pésimo servicio.
