Base camp Helicopter Reviews 

On Thursday 12 March 2026 we took up the services of Basecamp Helicopter for an Everest Sightseeing Heli Tour with a landing at Kala Patthar. Wow so professional with everything – from our first chat about going with Buddhi to returning to Kathmandu after our flight. Mother Nature you have to love her, threw us a curve ball with a low-pressure system coming through. We found ourselves stuck at Lukla for the night. Basecamp Helicopters were so professional all the step of the way and made sure we were safe at all times. A huge thank you to our pilot Prabal his friendly and very professional manner was really comforting. He is also a brilliant pilot with amazing knowledge of the area. We were so lucky to have you. If you decide to use a Helicopter service if you visit Nepal, we can highly recommend Basecamp Helicopters. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

Booked the tour for November, 5 (November, 6 as backup), was politely told that the flights did not happen due to strong wind. Eventually did the tour with another company, and it was awesome

Had the trip and day of my life!
Did the Heli Sight tour with Himalaya holiday service Pvt Ltd and Buddhi arranged all so very well.
Before I had so many questions regarding the whole thing and how it was organized and he willingly helped med with all with the most friendly and professional attidude.
The pilot was great too.
Later I have learned that the pilot is the president og Nepals pilot too..

Buddhi is a great organiser, honest, trustworthy and very efficient. What a great experience and he sorted the weather too. Cannot recommend too highly - this is your man for a heli tour to Everest.

During this Monsoon time I had to wait for 3 days and finally weather become better and few to mount Everest base camp and landed at Kalapather viewpoint. Views were great. we had to fly quickly out before weather changed. it was worth doing.

Flight to Everest base camp by helicopter was trip of a life. I took it on 15th May 2022. Due to pre monsoon I have to wait few days. Finally it happened. Loved it.

Thanks lot again and again Buddhi. You are an amazing guide. You are not a tour guide you are my friend. Gave to me for a lovely time i stay in Nepal. When i go to the base camp of Everest you take care everythings for safety, for my healthy…Thanks my best friends!
